This response is inaccurate. Both claims were filed at the same time, and I have emails proving it. I also spoke directly with CSI and was told the claim was closed at your company's direction--not due to any lack of response from me. The floor damage was hidden by boxes your movers placed throughout the area. Once the boxes were removed, the scratches were visible and I notified you within two days. That is reasonable notice. The $0.60/lb valuation is irrelevant here. This is not about damaged household goods--it's about property damage caused by your employees. Scratching new granite flooring with dollies is negligence, and that liability rests with your company, not the customer. Very disappointing handling of a clear issue. read more

Movers were professional and worked reasonably quickly. My move took just over 3 hours but they didn't charge me for an extra hour. The move just to move my heavy furniture (entertainment center, 60 inch TV, wardrobe, patio chairs and table, coffee table, 2 queen size mattresses, queen size wood bed frame) cost me $399. Since I didn't have any plastic wrap to cover the furniture or cardboard for the TV, they charged me another $210 ($609 total) but I didn't have much in the way of other options. That being said, I moved my stuff into a storage unit so they couldn't use moving blankets and then just take them back with them after the move was finished, so make of that what you will. Regardless, if you use them, just make sure you have everything they might need in terms of disposable moving supplies. I'd give them 5 stars if they didn't charge so much for the incidental stuff, but they were nice, hard working, and didn't charge me for the extra 10 minutes, so they definitely more than earned 4 stars. read more

I hired D&L for hoisting services and they rocked it! Other companies quoted me lower prices but D&L responded much more thoroughly to my initial project request and that made me trust them. Thank goodness I did! The hoisting job required many more bodies than what other companies were suggesting. D&L sent 5 men and all of them were needed to hoist the couch due to the weight of it. D&L also made sure they got insurance to cover the job. Lucas was the team lead and he was great. In fact the whole team was super professional, polite, friendly, and hard-working. Lucas and Carlos helped me, my mom and dog move from a 1 bedroom to two bedroom after already having performed work earlier that morning. We had enough stuff for a 2 bedroom apt at the pick up location and filled almost the entire truck they used to move. They were kind, considerate, fast, and efficient with how they moved and wrapped everything. Also extra praise to them because at the drop off location it started raining and neither Carlos nor Lucas were phased and kept tirelessly working to get the truck unloaded. Finding good movers is extremely difficult. Especially browsing moving company's reviews on yelp, you frequently read horror stories or read how positive reviews could be illegitimate. Rarely do I post reviews on yelp, but these guys deserve it. I first spoke to Angie for the booking process. She was very kind and easy to work with and I appreciated how my interaction with her went. On moving day Lucas and Fernando showed up to my house. They were both extremely friendly, hard-working, and careful with my furniture. After we dropped off the furniture at my storage unit Fernando was even kind enough to run to the gate to hold his hand over the sensor so that my car could exit with me having to put my code in. Having used many moving companies in the past I truly got lucky with these guys. I don't know if it's possible to request specific movers when hire a moving company, but Lucas And Fernando were amazing.
