    I will say I was very skeptical about going with optimum because people all around town told me about how horrible it is. I think what is horrible about optimum is the call centers that are not local. I had nine calls from optimum trying to fix my problem I told each agent that the problem was that the cable in my house was not hooked up. So I booked an appointment with Allo internet. I was just going to cancel my service after the first month. Then my appointment day and Nick called me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nick called to tell me his approximate ETA and ask me a few questions.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nick and I had a brief conversation and he arrived 15 minutes later.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nick is a very happy dedicated person. He was very good at explaining everything that was going on and was very polite. Nick made sure that cable colors were matching up and that we were using the best cabling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Meanwhile Nick was explaining the whole system and letting me know about system updates and things like that, so I knew not to worry if the system was doing an update.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I told Nick about my experience at the DMV and told him I wasn't sure how long I would be with optimum. Nick explained a lot of things and afterwards I felt very comfortable with optimum. I ran my own speed test and Nick ran a speed test as well and I was getting over the 500 MB per second. So I will be canceling my appointment with Allo and giving optimum the chance they deserve. The management team at optimum should treat Nick very well. He has saved the day at least once. It may not look like much but Nick had to fix test and fix the cabling outside and also inside from some stuff the previous renters did. This was a great experience overall and hopefully optimum will live up to the Hype Nick gave it. All the people complaining down here don't seem to be from lake Havasu and should be right in their reviews in their proper cities. I have had no issues whatsoever I think since I come from California I can say this. I think some of these folks moved to a small town after being in a big town and they are not happy with the slower more sustainable life. My internet service is working great I will leave an update if that changes.

    The internet service through Optimum, which used to be Suddenlink, is horrible. We got a brand new modem and had technicians at our home and the internet continues to go out intermittently throughout the day every single day. There aren't a lot of options here, but Allo fiber is taking over and we are hoping it will be better. Waiting for their service to get to us. We work from home and there is no way we can do it here.

    Yesterday at approximately 5:00 PM, 7-10-2026 my husband and I went to the AT&T store to complete…read morean upgrade on both of our phones. When we arrived, one employee was already helping another customer. Another employee, Brenya, was not assisting anyone at the time. We told her we were there to upgrade our phones. She told her coworker, who was helping another customer, that she didn't know how to process the upgrade. Her coworker said she would help us as soon as she finished with her current customer. We were sitting at a table near the front of the store when Brenya told us to come over near the cash register. Once we got there, she told us we needed to remove our phone cases and screen protectors. I explained that if the upgrade didn't go through, I didn't want to have to purchase another screen protector. Brenya responded, "We're keeping the phone, so why would that matter?" We also explained that my daughter's phone was not working properly and that we had already spoken with AT&T customer service about the issue. Brenya responded by asking, "Why are you mad at me?" My husband calmly explained that we were not mad--we simply wanted to complete our phone upgrades and get my daughter's phone working. Brenya then asked which phones we wanted. I asked what models were available, and she listed several options. I asked if there were display models we could look at in person. She pointed to the display area in the corner of the store. We spent about 5 to 10 minutes looking at the phones. While we were looking at the display phones, Brenya went into the office on the right side of the store. We could clearly hear her yelling at her coworker, saying, "You're going to have to help them. They don't know what the **** they want, and you're going to have to help them." She then came back out, slammed some papers down on the counter, and told us that her supervisor would be helping us. She went back into the office, where she continued yelling and banging things around. She repeatedly walked back and forth between the offices while shouting, "I'm not even mad anymore." Shortly afterward, she gathered her belongings, walked out of the store, got into her car, and left. This was a horrible customer service experience. I would not recommend anyone have any interaction with this AT&T employee. She was rude, impatient, and disrespectful toward both customers and her coworkers. Her use of profanity, yelling, and aggressive behavior created an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment. I believe this incident should be reviewed so that other customers do not have a similar experience.
