My claim is now closed and paid in full. The owner of the termite company contacted along the way and indicated that there were some in consistency stated in my review and asked that I update my review to a more accurate account of what happened. Additionally, I the owner indicated he had loss several family members due to Covid and as such, he was unable to respond to my calls or emails. Because this company never provide any services for me, I am unable to rate the quality of their work. My experience speaks solo to the financial aspect of our business together. I originally found Optimum Termite Control through an ad on Craigslist and requested fumigation service all through text messages and emails. I was provided with a reasonable quote. The options for paying the deposit were Zelle or mailing a check and I was hesitant to Zelle someone I had never met so I mailed a check to pay the deposit. I was not home often so I never met the team that came to examine my house and set up the tent and fumigation but they came and dropped off bags for sealing food which was very nice of them. The tenting and fumigation process went well and once complete, I Zelle'd the remaining balance due. Overall, the service was great and I'm happy with it. read more

I had Optimum Termite Control replace 2 sections of fascia board on 2/18/22. that had termite and dry rot damage. They were competitively priced and did a great job. He coordinated the gas turn on/off with the gas company and leave us hassle free. Ive used other companies for pest control and you pull teeth and pay a lot to just get someone out to inspect your property. When you think you have termites, you want someone responsive. Oscar is timely and was at my house before I was, and was able to fit me in immediately for an inspection. He took his time, and was super honest. Really can't say enough good things about him. If you want someone reliable, who will be there on time, responds to texts, and gives you that little extra you need when trusting your home to someone, message Optimum. We had a terrible experience with Optimum, and would absolutely not recommend them based on repeated schedule slips despite recurring promises, and lack of knowledge on setup / blockers to performing fumigation. We are currently working to receive our deposit back after the fumigation was not performed, but the owner will not answer our phone calls after stating he would return the deposit and pay expenses caused by the multiple delays on the project. read more

All of a sudden termites started dropping from the attic in two parts of my home. We called Optimum Termite Control and Oscar came out quickly, and assessed the damage. He gave us our options and very thoroughly explained everything. He is really passionate about what he does and he really cares about doing a good job. He came out and remediated the termite nests which required cutting the ceiling open in my shower. He found a contractor to come and close the hole up and he did a great job putting it back together and painting it. You can't even tell anything was done to the area. Subsequently, Oscar has checked in to see if things are still good which we really appreciate. Optimum offered a free estimate which I accepted. I scheduled time with them and they came onsite and went through multiple condos in condo building. Waited a week for the quote and after pushing for an estimate I was asked to submit competitors bids for them to try to underprice.
