Let me say first, I found Nicolas Mendoza that owns Optimus Pest Control on Yelp, the exact place I am leaving my review. As you can see, I gave the most stars allowable, and would give more if I could. To find reliability, promptness, thoroughness, cleanliness, strong knowledge base, eagerness, strong work ethic, understanding and strong skill set in a company and owner is surely few and far between. So when you find that, you stick to it. I do not normally write reviews, but this one was well deserving. Honesty, integrity and up front pricing are some other words to describe Optimus Pest Control. I know you read reviews every day about companies, but I've been around the block with bad, unreliable, deceitful companies with hidden fees and contracts for pest control. You know who they are. Not here. What you see and hear is what you will get. Let me save you the time and money and just make the call to Optimus. You won't be disappointed. Tell Nicolas what you have, what the issues are, and he will get right to it. Going above and beyond to ensure you get what you want and get what you pay for. And he won't stop until it's right and your issue is resolved. Most companies have that disgusting, annoyance undertone when you call back like you're interrupting them, but that is surely not the case. I overheard Nicolas on the phone with another client when he was here spraying and he was scheduling another follow-up visit. There was no need for the person to go into a long drawn out description of what was happening. He said ok and told him/her when he could come. The conversation lasted less than 15 seconds. This would sound as if I know Nicolas. I certainly didn't, but am now glad I do now. I can say now, my home is pest free. No ants (I had three kinds), no roaches, no palmetto bugs, no spiders, no termites. Nothing. So make the call. You won't be disappointed. He spends the time with his customers. Exactly what you would expect, but rarely get. He is a hard worker and knows hard work. Trust me. Thanks for reading, but I had to make sure you could have the opportunity to share in my dealings with a pest control specialist in a positive manner. Especially living in South Florida where we have every bug and pest in this climate. Flood his phone for an appointment. I can guarantee what he provides. Now you can stop worrying about the ants and roaches, without spending hundreds of dollars and signing contracts that you have no idea what you are signing, to remove them. So call Nicolas...anytime. I give my stamp of approval. Just do it. You don't get that personal feeling from a chain pest control service that waters down their chemicals and tries to sell you extra things you don't need and comes when you're not home to to the job half way and is full of excuses. Nicolas had one of the quickest responses of my quote request on Yelp. Additionally, he travelled to my home near Palmetto Bay during a very specific time constraint even though his place of business is in Weston. I have a daddy long leg problem, which is apparently very difficult to remove. Nicolas was up front with this and his comments were in line with comments that I received from other exterminators through Yelp. He and I worked together to turn over my couch, bed, other furniture, etc in order to determine the sources of my problem. I have no doubt that he would have moved the furniture himself (however I have a pet peeve and will not allow anyone to touch or move my furniture other than myself, that's a me thing and no reflection on Nicolas.) He spent way more time than I expected cleaning/removing all of the bug debris in my house before he even brought out the insecticide. Once he cleaned up you would not have known that I had a bug problem. He went through my house and showed me where he thought the various colonies lived and told me what I can do inbetween inspections to help reduce the problem. Further, I have two small dogs and he assured me that the pesticide that he used was diluted to a level specific to my problem, was human safe, and would not have any negative effects on my dogs. Three days later my dogs have not been sickend by any pesticide that he sprayed in my house. I will continue to use him if follow up visits are needed. read more

I can't recommend Optimus Pest Control enough!!! I would rate him at 6 stars if I could. Nick was extremely professional, punctual, and thorough. Not only did he contact us promptly to coordinate with us, he was able to fit us in within 24 hours of contacting him. Nick explained everything in detail and made us feel like family. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable regarding our pet situation and what we should do after his treatment. I will be recommending him to everyone I meet in need of exterminator services. If you are wondering whether or not to go with him, stop wondering and contact him already; you will not regret it. I came home one night to a snake in my home, I was mortified and living alone I needed help asap, so I went on yelp and found Optimus pest control, the guy who answered happen to be the owner, it was around 7pm and not only did he say he could come get the snake, but he did just that as soon as we hung up. He was extremely professional and helpful and I was glad to know that Optimus Pest Control takes care of a lot more then just roaches! We moved to a new house and found out it was infested after a a few days of living in it. I called them and Nick came by and explained what he had to do. He was able to give me detailed information on the procedure my house needed and got rid of the problem after a few short visits. He even followed up with me and suggested of things to do to keep them away. He was a true professional and very patient with my landlord and my family. Service is very professional. I bought a house that was infected with german roaches. After the first fumigation they began to disappear. Yesterday he did the second fumigation and no roaches have been seen anymore. The market is full of pest control companies,but this one gave me good prices and the customers reviews are excellent.
