hi i went here last night, im known as a big tipper to everyone i meet. i normally tip at the end of a tab. because as everyone in the world knows, a service should be provided tip or not, regardless i know that bartenders usually work on tips, i also work in the service industry next door so i get it. i asked for a shot around 1:50 close to closing i get it, and he (john) refused to service me and said next time if i tip better i could get my shot, maybe a miscalculation on my end of the tip, if you are an establishment you serve until the end of the night. i was not drunk as i had only had two margaritas at this time, and i watched him serve a group of three next to me as i was literally denied, at the end of the day i like coming here its close to my job, and they play good music and have good drinks, i closed my tab tipping the nice bartender woman, because she did an excellent job and was friendly the entire night, regardless, that was unnecessary and weird its as if i door-dashed alcohol and the dasher wont give it to me because i didn't tip up his standards, lets all have a reality check. yours truly, xelaya. read more

We had a blast here! The Naughty Pig is in a great location (pre game for next door) and has a live let crowd full of patrons ready to drink and belt out some karaoke. The drinks were made well and the staff were eager to help and responsive. I recommend getting upstairs and putting your name down early so you can have your chance to shine on the microphone! I am a real sucker for a neighborhood bar wherr I can sit down with a pint and kick back. The bartenders are fun to chat with and quick on their feet! I appreciate the excellent service here. And if the mood hits, there is KARAOKE at 10pm every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Shout out to Reggie the KJ! like the outdoor seating which is good for people watching. Went to the comedy store down the road. This was the closest bar that served food so we stopped by here on a Sunday night. The crowd was okay. Mostly cleared out after 30 minutes of us arriving. Looks like they were going to an event. Not a ton of room to maneuver when it gets packed inside which I would consider 20-30 people as packed. There are a few areas to sit inside but there are pink benches outside for you to sit and eat / drink. You don't have to go all the way inside to grab your next beverage because there's a window where you can wave down the bartenders and they'll serve you through there. There's about a 12 beers to choose from on draft and your usual bottles of alcohol. It's technically a sports bar but it feels more like a dive bar (minus the pool table) that has a few TVs with sports on. Food was better than I thought. Wasn't impressed by the list but it turned out pretty good. 3 stars because it was a solid alternative to what was available. Nothing truly stood out about this place minus the pink. I'd come here again if I'm in the area and need to kill a hour or two. But I wouldn't go out my way nor would I say you must visit here. It's perfect if you're at the comedy store and wanna waste a hour somewhere else. read more

It was cool I'll give it a 4 star. My friends celebrated their bday here last night and had the room from 7-10pm. Upstairs is where the party was, and the karaoke. The service was very nice and the bartenders were easy going and efficient. The food was decent the waffle fries and chicken tenders. Not bad for a sports bar. In a nutshell, I will be back for the drinks if anything. The karaoke is ok but it gets really busy and it's a list to be put on to see who is next. I feel it could be better depending on the vibes and music choices. The parking is right next to the body shop and it's $20 until 3:00 am. Really close parking. Street parking is only 30 mins so don't park there unless you want to get towed. read more

After hours of looking for a good location to watch the games I came across The Naughty Pig. I am on the OC area so it was a drive but let me tell you it was so worth it. The ambiance is bomb. Everyone was so friendly and despite having a full house drinks didn't take very long and we were always served with a smile. I recommend coming in early because seating runs out fairly quickly. Only praise for this fine sports bar/club. A friend of mine recently held a karaoke birthday dance party at this bar's upstairs private room and it as so much fun and appeared just perfect, I had to try it out as well reserving for my own birthday party this past weekend. They allowed me to bring in a live band and kids since they provided a cash full bar with food (burger, hot dogs, chicken tenders, French fries sports bar cuisine). I had actually come earlier to check out the place prior to reserving and knew the burgers were awesome! Pam and Justin, the managers were graciously helpful in making this event as successful as could be. Communication via email was responsive and supportive. I was able to bring the birthday cake in ahead of time to be stored in their refrigerator before being served. When ready to serve they provided paper plates and forks and a cake cutting knife at no extra charge. We had somewhere between 30-40 people (maybe more as I didn't take a roll call). The set up for the band even though a little tight worked out just fine, the sound was fine and my friends band the Donna Westwood Band did a fine set of dance music covers from the 70s 80s 90s 2000s. Great fun and plenty of people dancing. The booths and tables worked out just great for all. The Lakers game was on downstairs as well as the bathrooms so it was easy to keep track of the score and to briefly break away from the crowd. They even let me store my leftover cake till the next day for pick up. Kudos to Justin and Pam for making the Naughty Pig my go to place for a private party. read more

I've lived in Hollywood for 7 years and been by this place (walking or driving), dozens of times, but never stepped in. I had an old buddy that I was stationed with when we were both in the service in the mid-90's in Panama, that was coming to town. He asked if I could find a place that had Pliny the Elder (or the Younger, either Pliny). I saw that Russian River (the brewing company) listed the Naughty Pig as a place that had it on top. So I called and I spoke to Justin who unfortunately let me know they did not have it currently, but they had another RR beer in their rotation. I thanked him and hung up. Not a minute goes by and Justin calls me back and says, "you know, we were gonna tap a Pliny keg as our next beer, it's close enough, we'll tap it for you." So my boy, my wife and I went and met with Jason (our bartender) and Justin (our hero) and enjoyed those beers. The food was wonderful, the beer was as discussed and the service was specifically good, especially for a place on Sunset. I say this, because I know this area well...many of these bartenders get salty and bitter and treat their patrons like shit...but these guys, acted like we mattered...and it was awesome, my boy and I (and maaaaa wiffffeee) enjoyed every second at this place.
