In literal shock. Will never be returning. I've been here five times and every single time something is wrong. Ordered a dozen bagels sliced. In a box (thinking like a Dunkin' Donuts box.) I got bagels sliced in half twice in mini pieces. I've never seen anything like it. Put on a bagel platter pyramid of mini bagel pieces they charged me for. I'm taking them for a small morning meeting. I thought- no need to order ahead, it's a dozen bagels sliced... what could go wrong. And when I kindly explained oh my goodness I just wanted them sliced, the manager was shouting in the back JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT. Like I'm crazy. I did tell you my simple order. I don't know what the vibe is in here but it's not good and btw there's something musty and moldy in there because when you walk in the smell hits you. What a disappointment. read more

It's ok. The bagels are mediocre, but better than the other bagel place in town. If you order a breakfast sammich, be sure to specify that you don't want them to overcook your eggs, or else they will cook them into oblivion. Staff is pleasant. read more

Back when I worked in Goshen this a nice breakfast treat every once in a while. They had an amazing breakfast sandwich that was hard to resist when a coworker said "I'm go to Orange County Bagel, do you want anything?" Real eggs, and bacon that's actually cooked, not soggy or burnt. Put those on a cheddar cheese or everything bagel and yum! And at under $4, that's pretty darn reasonable. Splurged on their home fries once which were pretty bland so I never tried those again. read more

This place looks so promising, but the bagels fall horribly short. Flat, bland taste, as others described, similar to a supermarket quality sandwich roll. The lox cream cheese was very good, and they are generous with the serving. Without the spread, these would be tasteless. If it's true that they aren't boiling the bagels, then clearly it's not an authentic NYC quality bagel shop. read more

Convenient bagel spot when running around doing errands. The bagels weren't anything memorable, just your average bagel. Bagel and cream cheese runs just under $2. They do not have an assortment of bagels, just the most popular types ( ie: plain, poppy, etc.). All in all, it was just another bagel spot. Would I go out of my way to go there? No. Would I stop there if I wanted something quick? Maybe if I was in the area. read more

The bagels are good. The deli selection is good. The salads are excellent. Here's the problem, the staff is terrible. The three women that work there have all done time at other Goshen stores and seem disgruntled. They don't want to make salads towards the end of the day. They roll their eyes if you direct them to add something to your order. They walk away when customers approach the counter, trying to pawn you off on other staff members. It's such a shame as the new store was a welcome to the overly busy Not Just Bagels just one block away. If you want my business treat me right. read more

The only reason I won't give this place five stars is because the bagels are too "bready". The bagels taste really good, if you consider them rolls, but they definitely don't have a bagel consistency. Otherwise, the interior of the shop is very nice, they have a nice selections of flavored coffees and the service was fast. Unlike another user, who said that the coffee area was confusing, I had an easy time figuring out how to use it. If they change the way they make the dough in the bagels, then it would be perfect. Anyway, the bagels are much better than the gaping hole bagels sold at a certain other bagel shop that's down the street. read more

Poppy bagel was a roll with a hole, not a real NY bagel. Lox was not anything particularly tasty. Cream cheese not whipped and no light version. Coffee is good. They were out of most bagels by noon Sunday. read more

I havent tried this deli for lunch yet, but their bagels are out of this world. Crunchy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, like a real bakery bagel should. One of the few deli's in town that will take a card. This is my new go to place for breakfast! read more

I love this place. I live right nearby. They know me by name and they always have my order ready to go. The coffee is always full too! I'm quite surprised by the bad reviews. Not only are the bagels not good, but they don't know how to handle lines. I made the mistake of going on a Sunday AM and waited a half hour for 2 bagels/butter. I didn't feel like going to my fav places. Don't bother, can't believe with "bagel" in the title their bagels really suck. Only go if you are desperate and can't go elsewhere. I wanted this place to really be good. Gave them 3 chances. Ugh! I am used to great bagels, so I can't eat a bad one. read more

My last two experiences here have been terrible. I went in on a Wednesday to place my order, it took a little over a half hour for a sausage egg and cheese and a turkey sandwich. The place was not even that busy. Today I called in my order to have it delivered, which is clearly written in big print that they do. The girl on the phone was confused when I said I wanted it delivered, and then when the guy was on his way to deliver he asked me if he could honk when he's here to come out and get it. I have never been asked to come out to get my food from anywhere before. Then when he got here I only had a $20 to pay with and he goes do you have change? I don't have any. Went here for breakfast before work, quick service & friendly employees. A little dark inside, but nice. Grabbed a coffee and ordered an everything bagel, cream cheese, nova (lox), tomato & onion. Plenty of nova for the price, so I was pleased. Cream cheese was mounded on one side, easy fix for me. Overall okay, but the bagels just aren't my favorite. Very dense and even the everything topping lacked flavor...mostly poppy seeds. The Bagel Shop and Deli in Middletown is still my favorite, flavorful, soft airy bagels. I would even take a fresh Price Chopper Bagel Factory bagel over these. Just my preference. Might try them for lunch still. read more
