If you have any fireplace problems, Tosh's got solutions. I wanted to convert my manual, gas & wood burner to an electronic valve, gas-only burner and also buy new glass doors. Tosh gave me great suggestions and his estimates were fairly reasonable. But most importantly, Tosh is very patient with you -- especially if you don't know much about fireplaces as I did -- and he'll educate you on the various details of how the system functions. He quickly zoomed on to my particular type of fireplace and provided great ideas. Although I ended up not using them for new fireplace doors, I did buy his recommended burner and electronic valve from him. After calling several places and being told the parts we needed for our fireplace are no longer made, Tosh told us he had two vendors that could get the parts. He said it would take a while for them to arrive because of how breakable it was but we did get the parts. He did everything he said he would do and more. Last summer we ordered everything for a new backyard BBQ/kitchen island here and could not be happier. The prices are as good if not better than the internet with the added benefit of Tosh who is super knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us. We were missing a small rubber spacer after a few months from the install. We are on a budget so the manager Tosh gave us some great ideas for BBQ equipment and how we could build out the BBQ island. We purchased the equipment and our contractor is now building it out. We are very happy with our purchase of the MagicFire grill from OC BBQ and Fireplace - for both value and service. My husband called the store Saturday evening, not realizing they had closed for the day. Tosh answered the phone nonetheless and offered to call us back with a quote for the built-in MagicFire grill we wanted. He did shortly afterward, and we liked what we heard. We came to the store and bought the grill along with other accessories for our backyard BBQ island that same evening! Orange County BBQ and Fireplace is a class act and they know their business and products. I originally stopped in to OC BBQ to research a major project and the needs for various outdoor kitchen gear and Leland was covering the office with his partner out of the country - Tosh. Leland spent at least a full hour going through all of the options, features, manufacturing locations of various brands so that I could understand the latest in technology and cost points for the job. A month or more passed and it was time to nail down the various components and I ended up working with Tosh and Edgar as well. Both of them were excellent and as in any large project, things happen along the way that and we run into challenges and we had a few (like a dented product that came from the manufacturer that way). Tosh and Edgar went above and beyond anything that I would have expected of any organization to get things researched and sorted out in short order and they made multiple trips to the project for delivery, replacements and new things we ended up needing. They even offered to take away the boxes and packing foam on a visit and they saw the bulk of it that was on site and not easily disposed of. I did not ask them - they saw it and offered to take it. Their pricing is very competitive, but their knowledge and customer service and support and daily/hourly communications were best in class. I can not say enough about just how great it has been to work with this organization. When the slabs are fabricated and gear installed I will post some pictures.
