NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! I do not care how badly you want to go here for a repair- I would advise you not to! Pay attention to the bad reviews and take your computer to another repair place. My saga began when I spotted this place after my company moved to Los Al. It's only 7 minutes from my job and I wanted to try out some of the services in this area. My computer was running a little slow so I wanted to get a quick diagnostic done on it. I took it in and here's when I get my 1st red flag. I'm female I told the tech Angel my problem and what I wanted done. I'm not a tech but I do know my way around a computer. As we're talking prices another dude walks up to Angel and just starts talking all over our convo. I should have left then but I waited a moment and then gave dude the "shh" sign and finished my transaction. I was charged $70. For the diagnostic and I told Angel to call me. Four days later I get a call- my computer no longer works at all. It is stuck on the locked page and will not go any farther. I can't understand why this would happen because my computer worked fine when I brought it in- it was just a little slow. I just wanted thermal compound added and a Ssd upgrade. Now my computer doesn't work. My family told me to just go pick it up but I wanted it working. So idiotically told him to add the ssd. I just wanted my computer out of jail- so now I had to pay the bail (that's what it felt like). Two days later I get a call to come pick up my computer-and here's the "fun" part (not the word I wanted to use) my bill is almost $350. and the amount for the diagnostic is not included or waive. So I've paid over $400. Dollars to get my computer (Hal) out that place ! I was charged $89 on the bill for Data recovery and guess what, some files are forever lost. Angel tried to sound so ecstatic about the work that he had done on my computer but I saw it as a lot of unnecessary work and I wished that I had never walked into this place. Got it home and so many things had to be recovered and I had my backup disc, but some things are still lost. I was unhappy with my experience here and I will not return. I took my phone there, and I probably should know I broke the screen. The boy that helped me was very nice. His name is Jesus. It was $140 to get a new screen. As soon as I did it, all the little plus icons kept coming up for deletion. I took it back to him and he change the screen again he was very nice. But I still have the same problem. And I also had difficulty when I actually touched an icon that wasn't shaking and wanting to be deleted. It would not always work. it might be Apple's fault because that's what I have. I have an iPhone. My phone knew it wasn't an Apple certified piece of equipment so it could be the Apple people. But I will never spend that much money again to have anything fixed. This review is long overdue! I took my HP laptop to Computer Repair Orange County on April 27, 2022; laptop was sluggish and unresponsive. Since I'm unfortunately not a "techie" individual I had no idea how to fix the issue. Hubby suggested this place as this is where we go for our IPhone repairs. Angel is wonderful! He opened my laptop and typed a few things in and was able to diagnose in minutes what the issues were. He kept it overnight at the store and my laptop was ready the next day and working like an absolute charm! He added more memory, ran an anti-virus program, eliminated all the bugs and more for a very reasonable price. Totally Unprofessional. ZERO stars. Our iMac needed a new hard drive. We called ahead to ask cost, and to ensure their ability to make the swap. The quote by phone was $240. Took it in on THURSDAY afternoon with the assurance it'd be ready for pick up on MONDAY. The charge: $260. When we challenged the price disparity the repairman asked who issued the quote. We didn't have a name so we ate the extra $20. We delivered the 'Mac in its original box. I placed it on the counter. The repairman took one look at the box and asked what was wrong with the "AirMac." The box clearly states iMac and was clearly too large to be a laptop. We discussed the computer's problems and felt fairly confident he knew what we wanted. MONDAY morning after 9 a.m. we started calling the phone number on the invoice. No answer. And the mailbox was full. We couldn't leave a message. We called repeatedly. Same scenario. By 3 p.m. we hadn't heard from them so we drove to the store. The same repairman told us the part hadn't come in. He'd have it ready on TUESDAY. We asked why no one had called to tell us they needed an additional day. We told him about the phone never being answered, and the full mailbox. He said we were wrong. TUESDAY morning we tried calling again. By noon we'd had enough waiting so we returned to the store. Again, they hadn't even started work on the 'Mac, so we took it back unchanged, delivered to the Apple Store in Cerritos Mall, which is what we should have done in the first place. My husband and I have been in IT for decades. We know many proficient computer repair people and companies exist in OC. This time we just picked the wrong business. They deserve ZERO stars for not paying attention to customer needs, lack of communication, and not honoring their commitment. read more

I highly recommend this place because of their thoroughness, how knowledgeable they are and their honesty. My IPAD stopped charging after only owning it for two years. I sent it to apple and they were asking for $650 to repair the dock connector because my warranty expired. I brought it to this place, providing them with the apple analysis. Joe stated he preferred doing his own evaluation because apple doesn't always get it right. One day later he calls me to say that my iPad was fully functional and the dock connector was working perfectly. His initial quote was for $270, however, he did not charge me at all because it started working on its own. Joe could have easily told me he fixed it and I would have paid the amount, but he chose to be honest. I have used this service twice. The first time was for my cracked iPhone. I called around for different pricing and they were very competitive. They were actually able to do it while I waited. I think it took about 20 minutes. I don't know that their regular time or if I was just lucky. They did a great job. Next we had to get our Mac laptop fixed. We had to replace the entire top part with the screen etc. Again, they had competitive pricing. They offered me three options from brand-new to used. I chose go with a used part and it saved me a couple hundred dollars. They are conveniently located in a nice area with a parking lot right next to them which was helpful for me because I had my two young kids with me. I've taken my iPhone here twice to have the front screen replaced, and both times, I ended up having other issues after they "fixed" my screen. The first time I got my screen replaced, there ended up being a very thin line going from the top to the bottom of my screen on the right-hand side. That line didn't show up until AFTER I got it "fixed". The second time, which was just a week ago, they replaced my broken screen with a new one for $90 which I thought was awesome. Well, they did a really bad job of putting a new screen on my iPhone because now, my phone screen shuts off randomly (probably about 40 times in one day) and it won't turn back on for at least 15 seconds. I've never had this issue before with any of my iPhones, and I've had 4. Will NOT be going back here ever again. Piss poor work and piss poor service. read more
