This is the second time I've used Orange County Drains, and both times it's been for pretty major work. I honestly wish I could give more than five stars. This is my 2nd job done with them and the 2nd time I have had major work done. This time they installed what was basically the plumbing for a brand new bathroom, including a sewer line and drain install--and they completed it in one day, which is phenomenal for the scope of work (this included breaking concrete and the repair. They did it with the utmost care and diligence, and they checked (very) important details along the way so everything fit and functioned exactly the way it needed to. Huge shoutout to Moe, Izzy, and Jay--they absolutely kicked ass!! They communicated clearly, incredibly respectfully and they showed up prepared, work clean, and operate like a truly solid team. I especially want to call out Izzy for his knowledge and problem-solving. He did thoughtful, focused and quick troubleshooting around placement and fit, explained options clearly, and made sure the plan was right before moving forward. He is a truly skilled individual. I also want to recognize Bryan, who was diligent about walking the job, collaboration regarding my options and accommodating my schedule. I've hired multiple plumbers over the years, and I've never had a crew this professional from start to finish--from Bryan, who provided the estimate and details with a real understanding of what I needed, to the owner, Sean, who stands 100% behind the work and stays engaged and did outstanding work along with Moe on my previous jobs. The level of workmanship, communication, professionalism, skill, trustworthiness, respect, knowledge, customer service and follow-through is outstanding. The pricing is fair. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Just a good fair price. Izzy and Jay did a fantastic job. They went above and beyond to clean out my plugged up deck drainage system and the entire rest of that part of the yard drain system, all the way to the street. There were so many roots but they got them all out, even when it meant getting down and pulling out roots by brute strength. When they were finished they cleaned everything up and didnt leave a spec of mess. I would give them 6 stars but the ratings only go to 5. We had a blockage in our 52 foot main drain and found OCD drains and Sewers to help. They found our main drain was full of mud due to large rusted holes in the pipe. Just wanted to drop a review because of the top quality and effective drainage work that OC Drains did for me. They were responsive to addressing 3 issues. They trenched, installed drain pipes along 2 sides of my garage and a shed area and ties it into an existing drain pipe. They also trenched my front yard and cored out a hole through the curb so all the rainwater could drain directly to the street. and lastly they created the connectors where my new rain downspouts could connect into and drain to the street. Orange County Drains is a real(!) small-family company. Three people arrived to do the work. Sean -- the front-end diagnostician and advisor -- the Uncle. Brian -- the doer who does it all -- the Dad. Victoria - a very capable helper - the Daughter. It was an absolutely perfect experience. Firstly, they showed up right on time as promised 9:00 AM. Secondly, the next thing they did was very careful diagnosis of the problem. The sewer discharge was previously hydro-jetted by another company about 1.5 year ago. So it backed up too soon after the clean-up! They spent long time listening to us, thinking, understanding and discussing options of how the clean up should be performed. In the end, there was no shortcuts and no cutting corners. They diagnosed the previous job was done incompletely, and a significant section of sewer discharge line was left uncleaned. That's why the problem had re-occurred prematurely! They decided they would enter the hydro jet machine from under the kitchen sink access. And then, Brian, noticing that the plumbing under the sink had been poorly done (by a previous owner), had reinstalled and glued the P-trap and discharge pipe. They went an extra mile. So this was really kind of them! They left the job site super clean. Not a drop of sewer in the house (except for sewer smell, but that's unavoidable). In the end Brian showed me the camera view of the pipes. The sewer pipes were squeaky clean and wide open. Very nice to see! What I also appreciated was the clear up-front communications by Sean about the cost of the service! That was truly re-assuring to see. No hidden cost. Everything is explained clearly and up-front. I wholeheartedly recommend Orange Country Drains, Sean, Brian and Victoria -- it was so nice to work with a TRUE and HONEST family business. They take great pride in their job. After receiving at least 8 estimates for a water main line repair, I chose OC Drains and Sewer for the job. Sean was extremely quick to reply to texts and was super informative and friendly at the same time. The explanation of his estimate was thorough and he made sure to explain all possible scenarios as well. His quote was very reasonable in comparison to the other estimates I received and his reviews were all 5 Stars. I was sold! His crew arrived on time and was led by Alvino, who was also extremely friendly and informative. I had a leak in the main water line inside the exterior wall of my garage. After some investigation, Alvino explained that the most cost efficient option was to install new copper pipes from the main to the inlet to the house and to rebuild the hose bib. Their team dug under the sidewalk , grass, and under the cement walkway leading to the entry. All work was completed timely and neatly. Their clean up was thorough as well. I just got done with a kitchen remodel and the house started to smell like sewage-of course I freaked out thinking that we were going to have to tear out all the new cabinets and countertops. Initially I thought it was just my dishwasher because the smell was strongest after washing dishes. Reached out to a bunch of plumbing companies using Yelps get a quote feature & Sean from OCD was the quickest to respond but more importantly he asked me questions to better assess the situation-at first we thought it might be a dirty dishwasher hose and he gave me a good quote right away. The reason I chose Sean is because of the questions he asked, I could feel that 1. He knows his stuff 2. He actually wanted to diagnose the issue and get to the root of it rather than pick up an easy sale. We schedule an appointment same week, and turns out it's not a dishwasher hose which he could have easily replaced it and charged me and then tell me there were other issues, I would not have known any difference, but this guy cares and isn't here to make a quick buck, he is doing what we as consumers are often promised only to be disappointed later on which is he wants to fix what's wrong and take care of the issue rather than find an opportunity to take advantage of my lack of piping and plumbing knowledge. Turns out this was a much bigger problem, the main drain line was cracked and barely staying connected and I had drilled a hole into the pipe when mounting a tv(leave your comments to yourself) so water was draining into my walls and sewage gas was seeping into my house. Long story short-OCD came through gave me an upfront estimate after assessing the situation, gave me a more than fair price and even handled a second leak I had in the guest bath. Sean and his guys are down to earth good people, not once making me feel stupid for drilling a hole into the pipe or coming within inches of a gas line.
