Their two item combo can seriously satisfy you not only to your budget but to your stomach as well! If you have to choose an express between Hong Kong Express or Orange Curry, make sure you choose Orange Curry. The food is so much better and holds quite a lot of flavor. I have been sticking with Tikka Masala, Palek Paneer, and Goat curry with garlic naan. I will try to order some Butter Chicken one day. But the kicker is their chili powder. I put it on everything. It really jazzes up the food. But heed my warning, it's very very spicy. The Garlic Naan is 75¢ more with the combos and totally worth it. It's delicious. Great experience. We had a large order of wraps and one goat curry (halal) and everyone was pleased. The person that needed the halal meat even said " it's tasted just like eating at home" They delivered to our group even though it was outside of the normal delivery range. Very pleased. This place always hits the spot when I'm missing a home cooked meal. I usually get the chicken tikka masala or the goat biryani. I think the chicken tikka masala does the job, but I've definitely had better. The goat biryani is cooked very well and is packed with flavor! Today I went in to grab some vegetarian Indian food on Diwali, I decided to go with the channa masala and the eggplant. I really liked the channa masala with my garlic naan, lots of flavor and the channa was the perfect texture. The eggplant was not bad, I liked it but I probably wouldn't get it again. I'm sorry but there is no way that this restaurant should be sitting at 4.5 stars. Positives: Service was really nice and garlic naan was freshly made But positives mostly end there cause THE CURRIES WERE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE? just cream and no spices?? Chicken tikka masala (4/10) serviceable at best. Basically just heavy cream and tomatoes. Chicken was well cooked. Black pepper chicken (0/10) this was literally just heavy cream with some black pepper and chicken. NO SPICES NO FLAVOR WHO IS WRITING THESE REVIEWS. I honestly think that if I ate enough of the black pepper chicken I could have gotten myself seriously sick. Aloo Ghobi (6/10) I actually tasted some cumin! Most recent visit was disappointing. Normally all is well when I buy here and I always tip even though it's togo. I tipped this time also but regret it because they gave me old naan. It was rock hard as though it had been sitting there all day or from the day before. The girl who got me the food was nice but then an older guy came out to ring me up and bring out my naan. I tipped because I thought likely it will go to the girl who packed up my food but who knows, maybe the owner keeps it. Of course I didn't realize I got old naan until I got home. I had been craving Indian Food and this place definitely did not disappoint. The food was delicious for my liking it could of been spicier but that did not stop me from eating all of it. The garlic naan was so flavorful the garlic did not overpower. I don't live in the area but I'm willing to do the 35 min drive. Love love love this place. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Theice cream was good I preferred the malai flavored one which I was told it was the plain flavored ice cream I tasted like frozen sweetened condensed milk mango was ok but not my favorite it tasted a little floral to me. We found this place through Yelp and went there for a dinner. It's a fast, casual eat in or take out place, but the food quality is much better than you would expect from a typical fast food place. I was a little hesitant as to what to order and they insisted I try more samples. Finally I decided to go with a 2 item combo. 2 item combo ($9) - I went with the chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken. This came with a large freshly prepared naan and rice. I was really impressed with the quantity that came with my meal. The tandoori chicken consisted of 2 large tender pieces of chicken. While the chicken tikka masala had a tasty creamy sauce with plenty of juicy and flavorful pieces of chicken. I could barely finish my meal, and probably could have gone with a 1 item combo. Overall the food was good! It's not the best Indian food that I've had, but is comparable to Indian dishes served at most buffets. Orange Curry looks like a "hole in the wall" joint from the outside, but stepping inside I found a clean, friendly atmosphere that is clearly focused on giving their customers a large portion of high quality food! Excellent chicken curry and black pepper combination platter...Not too spicy and definitely not bland. I couldn't believe the size of the garlic naan bread that I got with it. Indian savior of SoCal. We recently relocated to SoCal from the Bay Area and a pretty solid selection of really delicious Indian food options. Since moving down (to San Diego), we've been pretty disappointed - mostly overpriced options that lack flavor. That all changed today. Orange Curry is the perfect bang for buck! Wife and I opted for the three item combos, a couple Samosas and a couple Mango Lassis. First things first, we nearly rolled out given how much food it was (oops, lesson learned). It was plenty of food and we shared with our toddler who is very into Indian food. Wife for the Chana Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala and Aloo Gobi; I got the Chicken Korma, Paneer Tikka Masala and the Chicken Curry - so between the two of us we were able to sample quite a spectrum of their dishes. None of them disappointed. The helpings were incredibly generous the flavors were full and the food was all served fresh and piping hot (where appropriate). We both agreed, however, the Chicken Korma was our favorite dish - so while we recommend all that will be our go to dish if we were to visit again. The service was awesome and super patient as we navigated the options to find a couple decent choices for our kiddo. If we had any criticism is that it wasn't particularly spicy, which isn't a surprise given that it is fast foodish in nature. This has got to be the best curry place I've ever had. I am constantly craving this place but I only save it when I want to spoil myself. The flavor of the curry is just to delicious, the chicken is nice and juicy as well. The young lady that was at the register was also very nice and helpful in guiding me with what to chose. Wow! We were so excited to find this place. Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place next to a sketchy Chinese place and liquor store but glad we gave it a try.
