Well, it gets worse. The dude who prepared my 2 items to go was careful to re-dip the ladle to exclude the paneer and the beans. This pic is fresh after I got home and opened it up. Very short on the portions, notice the watery-ness. There was a lot of water. The sauces are watered down. So, small portions, watered down sauces. The Naan was so chewy as well, never been this way before. This place used to be good, but it's strike 2 now, so only 1 strike left for me before I find somewhere else to go. I love this place! My boyfriend and I eat here almost once a week and it never disappoints. We are vegetarian and they have many options for us. Their paneer tikka masala is amazing!! Their food is fresh and their service is good inside the store. Sometimes their phone is busy and it's hard to get a hold of them. This is more of a take out place though. Husband picked up two, 2-item combos, raita, garlic naan, and two mango lassis to go. Price was about $48. Reviews of each item: - Raita - Watery and thin. Taste was ok but was very hard to pick up with naan because if how watery it was. - Garlic Naan - It seemed really soggy. Not sure if it was because it was wrapped in foil and got soggy on the way home, but the taste was fine. - Chicken Tikka Masala - The sauce was very sweet and not creamy or thick. The chicken tasted like it was cooked separately then added into the sauce afterwards, so it didn't absorb any of the flavors of the sauce and was sort of dry in the middle. I didn't really like this dish, and my husband agreed. If you like a thick and rich tikka masala, you will be disappointed. - Eggplant - Very smokey flavor with lots of onion. Not bad, but don't get this if you don't like onions because there were a LOT. I think it was more onion than eggplant... - Saag Paneer - Like the raita, this dish was very runny/watery. It had a decent amount of paneer pieces which tasted fine. The spinach wasn't thick and did not have a texture, it was very smooth, almost like it was blended. - Mango Lassi - Thick, nice. A little bit tart. Unfortunately, probably the only thing I would purchase again from here. Overall, sort of disappointing experience for this price. We've had all these dishes before and none of them seemed that well done here. Many of them seemed like they were too thin and not very substantial, like they were trying to stretch out small batches to serve more portions. We will most likely not come here again. My all time favorite dish is the Chicken Tikka masala and theirs was very good and the naan bread is fresh and hot. I am still so full after this amazing meal! I wanted to deliver some food to my hotel during my stay in Anaheim, and was craving some Indian food, and the service of this place was great. I got my food in 40 minutes, they had friendly delivery service, and I got so much food for $35! - including delivery! I got the combination meal with the goat, curry, chicken, tikka masala, and palak paneer. The palak paneer was amazing, and not too oily like other Indian restaurants. The chicken tikka masala was pretty standard and enjoyable. The goat curry was fine, it didn't wow me because it didn't have a lot of the "meaty" flavor I look for when I eat goat - but still good. Great experience. We had a large order of wraps and one goat curry (halal) and everyone was pleased. The person that needed the halal meat even said " it's tasted just like eating at home" They delivered to our group even though it was outside of the normal delivery range. Very pleased. We found this place through Yelp and went there for a dinner. It's a fast, casual eat in or take out place, but the food quality is much better than you would expect from a typical fast food place. This place always hits the spot when I'm missing a home cooked meal. I usually get the chicken tikka masala or the goat biryani. I think the chicken tikka masala does the job, but I've definitely had better. The goat biryani is cooked very well and is packed with flavor! Today I went in to grab some vegetarian Indian food on Diwali, I decided to go with the channa masala and the eggplant. I really liked the channa masala with my garlic naan, lots of flavor and the channa was the perfect texture. The eggplant was not bad, I liked it but I probably wouldn't get it again.
