I was looking to do a custom exhaust for my 2018 718 Cayman GTS, but places were charging me ridiculous prices for what I wanted. I decided to look at yelp for something cheaper such as a muffler delete since I really just wanted to make the car louder. I have to say I wanted pretty specific things (to keep my valve, to have 2.5 inch piping, to have it cut at a specific spot to make sure the piping was the same size as the original, etc.). Kevin and Leo didn't tell me otherwise. They said they'd get it done and they did. Kevin's service is phenomenal, he went as far to go pickup the exhaust tips from his vendor instead of waiting for the guy to come (I was in a time crunch). This place is really helpful and knowledgeable I needed a new catalytic converter for my truck since the previous owner had changed them for some knock offs and it wasn't passing smog. I called Kevin with my concerns and he immediately reassured me that he will install the proper California approved for my vehicle he asked me to text him my trucks information and he got to work for me, the next day I arrived early morning and he was very polite knowledgeable and what I most appreciated and respected was how careful he was with my truck he was very careful loading and unloading and walked me through the whole process. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for exhaust customizations or any repairs. Shop has two lifts and lots of parking spaces. There are a few other shops right next to each other including a body shop and a smog station. The Mechanic will recommend you for the best modification that suits your vehicle with a decent price and do not compel their customers to purchase stuff. This might be the hardest review I'll have to make. Kevin did an awesome/ cheap job at cutting and welding in a new catalytic converters. Out the door I paid 900 cash which is awesome because new direct fits cats are 600 a piece. But the second I got in the car, the car started shaking. (I saw it shake when kevin drove it off the lift too). Also the air bag light was on. I've NEVER had either of these issues! Took it around the block and it didn't stop shaking. Took it back to them immediately (10 minutes later) and hooked up a code reader and got a p202 which caused a p302. Showed Kevin and his mechanic and they doubted it was their fault. (My car worked fine before I drove in). Looked into the codes and determined I had a misfire in cylinder 2 caused by something going bad from the ecu to the ignition coil. I replaced the ignition coil myself for 70 bucks but had no luck. Got it diagnosed by a chevy dealer and they determined it was a faulty ecu. 1200 bucks later my car works fine. We think it was caused by a spike from welding. Again I drove into the place with no misfire and airbag light never came on. Now the reason why I'm giving 3 stars is because they gave me a good price and did the original job. But it's unfortunate about the airbag/ misfire. The owners a really good guy and this just seems like an fortunate accident. :( read more

I called a dozen shops to have my catalytic converter replaced and received a dozen different quotes, some much much higher than others. Kevin was very friendly, had the lowest prices, and was extremely accommodating. He did the job while I was on my lunch break and I was out of there in 40 mins. He even showed me the part before it was installed, pointed out the serial number on it, and wrote it down on the invoice (can be important for smog cert). Assuming I don't have any issues with the work that was just done, I will be returning to Orange Grove Muffler for sure. read more

Went to Orange Grove Muffler to get a new Magnaflow Muffler and the service was top notch! They noticed that my pipes had holes and were rotting away so they offered to replace all of them for a slightly higher price which was still very cheap! If you are considering getting any kind of exhaust work done on your vehicle make sure to stop by Orange Grove Muffler! They have an amazing staff that genuinely care about their customer's vehicles. I had my mufflers deleted on my mustang gt and I've gotten nothing but compliments since! It sounds so beastly and it didn't cost a lot at all! Not only that but I had an issue with my cold air intake and my car was acting very weird. Check engine light was on and they completely fixed the problem. Best part was that it wasn't even their problem to fix! I have to give it up to Pete (technician) for being such a cool guy. He had a lot of positive advice for me and my project. He also figured out why the check engine light was on in literally 5 minutes. I took it to two shops before returning here and I must say I should have just went straight here.
