We hired Marisol and her "team" for a deep move out cleaning. We discussed what needed the most details and I sent over pictures for a good estimate. Upon arrival, Marisol stated that the window crevices would not come out from cleaning and that it would need to be power washed. $25 per window x 4 ( bigger windows) and $15 x 2 (small windows). Extra $130. I agreed since she stated that is the only way to assure it would be cleaned. An hour or so after she started, she text me stating that some emergency happen to her team and that she would not be able to finish that day. She originally promised 3 hours. Speaking with her previously, she knew that I had to turn in my keys that night. So once again, I explained that I am apologetic to her team but I do need the job finished and if it is not possible that I would need to know asap. She assured me that she would find other people and it would be finished but it might take longer. I told her to take her time and just to call me when she is about 20 mins from being done. There were so many spots missed. The window blinds (hardwood) were not wiped down and the bedroom walls weren't even touched. On her website, it states "wash walls". She says I need to paint my walls in the bedroom and that she only wiped down the grease in kitchen on walls. I can literally see how much was missed. The window power washed I paid extra for, only pushed the dirt to one side. The house was completely empty when she started. I had to cleaning supplies to clean after her. I did however take a wet tissue toilet paper to see if the dirt would come off, and it came off very easily!!!! Throughout the process before Marisol was very kind but after the job was finished and I had complaints she had many excuses and refuses to work with me. She disappears and now is not answering. I paid $720 total for move out cleaning and see attached pictures. I am being very reasonable and asking for $200 refund. For windows and walls/window blinds. I have hired Marisol and her team twice, the first time being when I moved out of an apartment I'd lived in for two and a half years. I stupidly thought I'd have time to clean it myself, and by the time I realized my mistake it was a couple of days before my lease ended. A dozen frantic phone calls later, Marisol was able to accommodate my tight schedule after I explained the situation. They not only arrived on time, but left the place absolutely spotless for a very fair price. They saved my sanity, and also got me 100% of my security deposit back. I hired Marisol again when - ick - my indoor cats managed to contract fleas (To cat owners: treat your kitties with preventive stuff even if they never set foot outside. Ew.). I was mortified as soon as I realized the problem (I had two roommates then), and Orchids Cleaning Services came immediately to the rescue. I had already been to the vet, treated the cats, and sprayed anti-flea stuff everyone, but I wanted to make sure everything was super-clean. Once again, they did a great job. My current apartment is feeling a little un-sparkly, so I am considering having a cleaning service come by sometime. I know exactly who I'll be calling. Marisol saved my life. I had my apartment cleaned by her. I got a good deal on my apartment but it had to be cleaned before i moved in. In SF deals are unheard of so I went for it. It was a terrible idea. The apartment was scary! Bugs, sticky, smelly with trash. I cried. I couldn't do it. So I called her. She had it fixed by the end of the day. It was a different place when I got home from work. I couldn't believe it. This lady must have had a crew of 20 working on it because it was seriously kind of a clean, cute little apartment. I got to do my painting and moving my things in that same week. I'm in love with the place! I have my dream apartment now. I can't thank her enough. The price was cheap! Update 9/7/14 - Downgraded from 2 stars to 1 star - Our oven is broken due to the cleaning. They used a lot of water or liquid and now the oven is tripping the GFCI circuit causing it and the refrigerator to shut off. We are hoping that it dries out in a few days. Simply infuriating!!! We just had Marisol clean today 9/6/14 and I had to leave a review. She charged $375 and was here with her teammate for nearly 4 hours. Positive: The fridge and oven were in rough shape and they had them looking almost new. Negative: the place was fairly clean - previous occupants had bi-weekly house cleaning and there was just a little bit of random mess from the recent patch and paint work (which meant they had to do almost no walls or baseboards). I was expecting that the place would seem glittering for the price. Instead it seems ok. If I had paid $250 - what I was quoted by another company, I could get over it (they were already booked and I needed someone this weekend). These ladies were so good, its inspired me to register and start reviewing here at yelp. Yeah, I've been lurking for a while now. Reading reviews, only eating at the places that passed all of your critiques, shopping at all the cool places, etc. Well now I'm one of you and why? Cause Marisol and her gals cleaned up my old house so well I wished I hadn't moved out! The place was dirty, I'm not big on cleaning things that get dirty while not in use (read.. lots of dust) and after moving all our belongings there was even more dust than I had expected. In short what would have taken me 30 to 60 hours to do, they did in 3 and didn't charge all that much. Highly recommend. read more

I hired Marisol for a move-out clean for 2/3 of the house and a regular clean for the 1/3 I'm still living in. She and her team arrived on time and I left them shortly after. Well, I just got home and WOW! I am AMAZED at how great my apt. looks. Extreemly detailed and thoughful. I'm beyond impressed. I could rave on and on about how the grimey bathtub is now sparkeling, about how she saved a carpet I was certian I'd have to replace, yadda yadda yadda, but let me also say how great Marisol's communication was. We've been looking for a good cleaning service in SSF for our three BA, four BR house, and we found one! Marisol was extremely professional from the get-go, returning my call within the day. Her crew came in and started cleaning immediately, and the house looks terrific. From the counters, to bathrooms to baseboards to the deep recesses of the couch, Marisol and crew got it clean. Not sure how it compares to other services but seems reasonable and definitely convenient. Coordinating a meeting time was very easy too. My request was short notice but she fit me in. When she realized there was a scheduling conflict she texted me 24hrs in advance to tell me she was coming 2 hours early. The job was a big one. 4 roommates in a house that had not been deep cleaned for years. Dust and grim everywhere. Marisol and her partner. We were moving out in 2 days and thought the cleaning was covered by the owner.. then it was the almost the end of the month and all of the bigger cleaning companies were booked solid. Marisol and her team do a GREAT job on my apartment. I have used her twice now and HIGHLY recommend her services. She is extremely sweet and friendly and takes pride in her work. She is also very responsive by phone and text and on time, which is extremely important to me given my busy schedule. I have a large studio and it's never really "dirty, dirty", but it needs a good deep clean every few months and she and her team have made it sparkling and smelling amazing both times. Extra charge to clean the oven, which I only need twice a year, but it's so worth the extra cash if you cook often like I do. Her prices are reasonable -- especially given the customer service and friendly attitude. And better yet, you can get a quote online on her website. She and 2 other friendly members of her team were in and out in an hour today and my apartment is spotless. We hired Marisol and Orchid Cleaners for a move-out clean of our apartment. Deposit was on the line, so it had to be CLEAN. Marisol was super communicative and even came a earlier than originally planned when I asked her to last minute. They cleaned our 4 bedroom apartment top to bottom - and WELL..I'm talking dusting the moldings that are 9 ft up the wall - in just over 2 hours. Marisol came to my apartment yesterday with another lady, they did an excellent job deep cleaning. The bathroom was sparkling, not a hair in sight. They even moved all the furniture to get underneath and in the couch cushions. They were very nice and respectful, asked me what I would like done and were in and out in 2 hours. I never used a cleaning service before but really needed one when my husband & I moved into our new place. The previous tenants didn't clean the place at all before they moved out. There were stains on the wall, the bathrooms were filthy, dirt, grit & grime on the sides of the dishwasher and refrigerator. I tried cleaning myself, but after cleaning and replacing the shelf covers in the kitchen cabinets; I had to hire professionals to do the rest. I was able to get an appointment at a time that fits my schedule, which was on a Saturday afternoon. Marisol & another lady arrived on time as scheduled and spent about 2 hours cleaning. They were very professional and came with their own supplies. I went over the whole place with her and pointed out the areas i wanted more focus on. I left to run my errands and she text me 20 minutes before she was done. Since it was my first time using a cleaning service, I don't have much to compare to, but I thought Marisol & the other lady did an awesome job. When I came back, the house smelled clean, all the areas I pointed out was taken care of and the bathroom even sparkled. There were some stains in the bathroom stall that Marisol said properly couldn't come out, but she managed to clean it :) They even made our bed and straighten/ tidy our couch, which I didn't expect. I think their price is reasonable and comparable to any other cleaning service that I received quotes for. I went the Orchids because of the great reviews on Yelp. I wish I could use them regularly for cleaning so I don't have to do it myself, but realistically I wouldn't need a regular service because its only my husband & I and we don't make a lot of mess. I had company coming in last Friday and waited until Tuesday to schedule a deep cleaning for our 1 bedroom-2 bathroom loft. The online quote system was really easy. Just click how many rooms you have, if you want organic cleaning products, when you want the cleaning done, and how dirty your place is (fyi, I generally avoid my boyfriend's designated bathroom because it is so disgusting) and out pops a price. I didn't shop around for other quotes, so I can't say if the price was on par with other places, but I have to say the quality was great! I think our place is even cleaner than when we first moved in. I did find some dust bunnies on the hinges of the doors, but I think that's being pretty nit-picky. Marisol was quick to respond to my emails and even offered a discount for regular cleaning. I'm still trying to convince my boyfriend on that one, but the discount doesn't hurt! read more

I had this Promotion offer on Amazon and they called me 10 mins before the appointment and told me they cannot come in as scheduled but will be rescheduling after 10 days. I had taken time off from work to be there for the appointment and they did not show up. My plans went on hold for 10 days just to reschedule the cleaning job. I found it very unprofessional the way they dealt with a prospective customer. I feel they are taking more commitments then they can service. Marisol is fantastic. She cleans my 2BR/2BA apartment in less than an hour and a half and makes it look better than if I spent my entire weekend cleaning. She is very sweet, and I think her rates are reasonable given the quality of her work. She goes above and beyond by straightening up the apartment -- making the beds, folding blankets, organizing jewelry, neatening up stuff in the kitchen, taking out the trash/recycling, etc. I highly recommend her. read more
