During the pandemic these guys are allowing "to go" orders but having people wait in line for food and to pay with no orderly safe system in place. **No way to tell who placed their order first. Wait in line and pay ⁉ What if the person behind you placed their order before you placed yours. Yum, I forgot how much I loved Oregano's!! I was craving some cheesy pasta and carbs and boy did Oregano's give it to me! I ordered the Southwest Garlic Chicken Lasagna and it was my first time ordering this entree. It was absolutely delicious with the spinach, chicken and creamy sauce! I also loved how the entrees come with a nice large piece of garlic bread! Not too big of a piece but also not too small. With the price of the entree, it was very well priced. My boyfriend got the Coop De Ville Jumbo Chick Parm but instead of marinara sauce he asked for Alfredo sauce and they made it possible! He said it was one of the best pastas he's ever had! That's says a lot coming from my bf because he's very picky when it comes to pasta. Our waitress was also super nice. Wait time was way longer than we were told. We were told 30 minutes but it ended up being closer to 45-50 minutes. We were seated outside which was actually a nice area. Waiter was okay. Our waters were not filled up at all until we asked whenever they were empty. The appetizers were very good. Pasta was very good as well. Pizza was way too cheesy. We were there for a family member's birthday and they brought us a cookie ice cream dessert which was the best part of the dinner. Overall, not worth the wait, food was okay, service could be improved by a lot. read more

My wife and I favorite place to go and relax and have quality. We both love the chicken parm/ no marinara sauce, with Alfredo sauce. Chicken cooked extra crispy. They get it right every time! We have eaten at Oreganos in several locations in AZ. Today we happened to be in the Glendale area so we stopped for lunch. My husband had the lunch antipasto and I had a gluten free pizza with seasoned feta, bacon and chicken. I have to say that this was the absolute best gluten free pizza I have ever had and that is saying a lot since pizza is my favorite food. This pizza was cooked to absolute perfection! My compliments to the chef! It's so easy to overcook gf pizza crust but this place got it spot on perfect. My husband said his antipasto was fresh and very good. Great place for Italiano, hands down better than Olive Garden. We were 7 of us here in a Saturday evening. There was some waiting before we got seated. Ordered Alfredo and Go Bollo pasta, meatballs and the Margherita . The food was just amazing and perfectly spiced. The quantity was exact for 7 people and there was no food wasted. The service was fast since it was nearing closing. All in all, definitely recommend!!! read more

We used to live in the valley and we visit often. We always have our local places we look forward to, Oreganos but after today that will fall off our list. We ate here for well over a decade, and had our favorites: wings, Cesar salad, boom dip, etc. we met my folks out for dinner this evening looking forward to all of our favorite things and at this point I'm still in shock with how awful it was. We started with the Boom Dip and what arrived was cold, rubbery bread and a vat of oil and grease with relatively no flavor. The place was pretty packed for a Tuesday evening so the expectation was high. We then ordered a side salad, margarita pizza, golden Italian wings, meatball sandwich and kids chicken basket. The pizza arrived and right away I was put off by the cheese that was yellow and looked like melted rubber. The wings looked like they'd been sitting around for some time, and chicken "strips" or "nuggets" or whatever the were, looked like they'd been left in the fryer just a bit too long. The meatball sandwich looked delicious tho! We dug in trying to not let the visual presentation sway our tastebuds, but the visual was better than the actual taste. I'm a self proclaimed pizza fanatic, and I've never tasted a pizza so bad that I couldn't stomach to eat it. My poor mom tried to mask the taste with Parmesan cheese AND ranch, but no luck. I decided to give up on the pizza and move to the wings. The sauce I used to buy quarts of was no more. The sauce tasted OLD. I ate two and decided to call that quits as well. The meatball sandwich was the only thing close to Edible and that was subpar at best. I flagged the waitress to take it away as I couldn't bare the sight of the food any longer. The waitress seemed perturbed by us all meal, and when I mentioned how awful it was she decided to let me know if should've told her sooner. So she could get us something we liked... we know what we like which is why we ordered what we did, so ‍. She then tried to offer us other food stating she didn't want us to go hungry, but at that point we were all out of hope for anything further. I don't write many reviews, but this one I just couldn't let go of. We've eaten here for years, keep saying they need to open a location where we live. After today, I couldn't fathom ever going back. Their food used to be so freaking delicious. Like, so good. And man we're just beyond disappointed after today. I'm still in shock and disbelief at how awful it all was. read more

Listen, my ONLY complaint is that on DoorDash it doesn't let you edit the "bollo pasta". I have to call in & beg the person who answers the phone to edit the order in their DoorDash merchant app. Super annoying, especially when you get a grouchy employee who's not willing to do it. I do all of this because it's my favorite thing to eat and reminds me of a restaurant back home. I do a half alfredo half pesto sauce with chicken. Lemme tell you, it's DELICIOUS!!! They never get it wrong & the chicken is flaky instead of cubed or sliced on top like most places. I always have enough for 2 meals too! read more

We've been going to Oreganos for years. To various locations. I was super disappointed with this visit. And will avoid going back to the Glendale location. To start off the night we were told we were not allowed to wait inside. You know, COVID. Instead, we had to wait outside. It wasn't crowded so I was a little shocked we were being asked to do this. It's 8 at night. We have our two kids with us and it's not freezing but it's a little chilly. If you're going to force us to wait outside because it's not safe to stand with my family then it would of been really nice to have the heaters on. Luckily we didn't wait long so it wasn't too bad. We get seated and the service was just super slow. Painfully slow. Our waiter was super nice. Had nothing to do with him. The food just took forever. Which is always fun when you have kids with you. The food finally arrived and the quality has just changed. I don't know if it was an off night or what but the salad was soggy. Maybe it had been ready for awhile and not brought out. The veggies they used for the salad were not the same as in times past. Honestly it looked like they used a cheap salad kit from Walmart to throw it together. The pizza was still good but definitely not as amazing as it use to be. My daughters Mac and cheese came out cold and it really didn't taste like anything. Very bland. Very disappointing. A lady who appeared to be a manager (the one who told us we couldn't stand in the warm restaurant but had to wait on the cold patio) Did not once swing by to ask how everything was. Like many restaurants do. Which has never bothered me before but when the food is just not what you've been eating for years (and the recent bad reviews on this platform) you would think she would take the time to ask the guests how everything is. I hope they can get it together because we have been Oreganos fans for years. Everyone deserves a second chance so I will go back someday but the next time I go to Oreganos it will not be this location. read more

Past visits, my daughter & I were able to bring our little 12 lb dogs & sit on the patio. Yesterday, 5/9/24, we came with our husbands as well to celebrate Mother's Day early and told that since they weren't "service dogs" we weren't welcome. Shocked! Well, we wound up going to a nicer restaurant, Fellow Osteria & Pizzeria by Sky Song and had a wonderful meal on the patio where we were made welcome with our dogs. This was my first time ever going to Oreganos. The place is small. It is clean and and a great atmosphere also. I enjoyed watching old T.V. shows in Black and White. The food was really good. I had the Giant Chicken Parm. It was really good and a large amount. They can cut back on the Basil just a bit. The appetizer we had was awesome. Think it is called the Bomb Dip. It is a Spinach and Artichokes dip. The main reason for this post is to give a shout out to our server Amanda. This server is FANTASTIC. She is very energetic and has alot of pizazz. She is the type of server you want to serve you and the type of server to have working for you. Keep up the good work Amanda. Glad you enjoyed the cookie. Hope to have you as our server again.
