One of the greatest food ever to be invented is the pizza! Pizza can make children and adults not cry anymore. And that is why Joyce W. Wilson L. And I decided to come here for some pizza. The location was clean, well kept, well decorated and it felt like home with all them fortune cookies greeting me at the door. The waitress was friendly and helpful, and the food was pretty decent. The loo was not too bad. It was overall clean and well kept, however the music in there was way too loud! So loud you will go hard hearing if you stayed in there for too long. So loud you can't even hear your own explosions in there, I have excellent hearing too, and if I can't hear myself, no one can with the music being so loud. The toilet is about equal to that of a common house toilet. Not bad. We ordered a thin crust pizza, a side of macaroni and cheese, Wilson got some soup as well. The food came out pretty fast, and the Mac and Cheese was good. Not the best, but still pretty good. Overall a good experience, and definitely will be back, don't see why not. read more

I just went to Oregano's for the 1st time for lunch with a friend. It was packed. I had the sausage and peppers and my friend had the angel hair pasta. WOW, it was delicious. Their sauce is amazing and the food was perfect. We had a terrific waitress Lindsay who just made it that much better. The manager Michael came over and introduced himself and I told hit it was my first time there. What a great Italian go to restaurant. Prices are really good. Definitely going back. read more

The family felt like Italian but we wanted to try something new. Decided to try Oregano's since the previous reviews were positive. The portions are hefty, large enough to share. The prices are family friendly. And the service is all smiles. The atmosphere is a little kitchy, but pleasant. Take my advice and get on the live waitlist via Yelp! There were many people waiting outside and we were able to jump to the front. Also, be cautious -- there are not many low calorie or heart healthy options - so make this locale an option for your cheat day. Lowest point was sitting next to a family with four little ones. WHY!? When you see a group of three adults, why put them next to little children? Never makes sense to me. But, we will be going back. read more

I will claim that I didn't have the best phone service but as most of the guest waiting outside, someone should have stepped outside to call names, put a speaker outside so people can hear their name or hand out a device that other restaurants use. Customer service is so disappointing. Felt very discriminated. They made us wait nearly an hour when they weren't busy and many tables open. They notified us it will be a long wait but then proceed to seat a table of 7 and 11, when we arrived before them and we're a much smaller table. You might say "oh well the table of eleven probably called before hand to make a reservation." But you cannot make reservations you can only show up and wait til you're seated. And when we question the crew about our wait they acted very dense. Felt very ignored and we still treated them with kindness that they didn't deserve. Used to love coming here but the new crew members are not it. read more

We will see how it tastes. Picking it up was a total S@&T show. No social distancing. The employees were not wearing gloves and the pick up area was jammed pack with no organization at all ! It smells excellent, will do an update once we get home. The process so far is an F- major failure on all safety fronts ! We ordered an hour ahead. And we still waited over 1/2 hr. OK we got home and the food was fantastic. The Diablo shrimp was out of this world. And the pizza was just OK I guess it would be better if we had eaten there. But given the situation I'm sure that's not going to happen for a while. And I can update the stars though because I'm thoroughly disgusted with how they had everything set up. Did Oreganos switch out ingredients? More so, did they cheap out on ingredients? Pizza just doesn't taste the same :/ I loved their thin crust specifically for the flavor of the crust, and the crunch, but our last 3 orders throughout the last year the crust has different texture/flavor, and reminds me of how Little Caesars crust tastes, straight up. I love Oreganos but I fear they are going downhill in quality just like most food joints out there, La Piazza in downtown Glendale it is! read more

My wife and I dined at Oreganos in Glendale, AZ at 8pm September 26th. I've never been to any oreganos location. My wife shrugged it off and said I probably wouldn't like it because it wasn't like the east coast Italian I'm used to. I insisted we try it. I was pleasantly surprised! I started with a "pain reliever". They used captain Morgan rather than a navy strength rum. The drink was good but I probably wouldn't order it again. My wife had the Bellini which was frozen and tasted of malt liquor. The drinks didn't thrill either of us. We started with the artichoke dip. This was amazing! You get a hearty amount of dip with good sized artichoke pieces. The bread is a thin pizza crust with cheese. My only "issue" was there was a considerable amount of oil in the dip. Let's be honest, the oil is probably why it tasted so amazing. This could have easily been a meal. I decided on the piccata. The sauce was very light. The capers had a sweetness to them and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The chicken was thin and crisp. I even found a lemon seed indicating they used fresh lemon. It reheats well too! Our waitress was very good as well. Drinks were prompt, she was friendly and not stingy with the cheese! Ultimately, I left full and happy and I definitely will come back. read more

One of favorite AZ pizzas places. The ambiance and food totally does not feel like a big chain restaurant. We love getting takeout or dining in with the little ones. They a pizza dough for the kids and coloring pages. The service is always good and the people are always helpful and kind. The deep dish pizza is great and really not that expensive. This is use to be one of our go to places. My family all went here right before Thanksgiving Day 2021. Both my mother and I got severe food poisoning! We both shared the Oreganos favorite salad with chicken. Never had food poisoning in my life! Let's say we almost didn't make it to Thanksgiving! Brain dead could not figure out how to seat a large party of 14 They kept seating people in the only room to fit a large group it took over an hour and a half to get seated by the time we got to food the kids were passed out and everybody was tired and cold from waiting outside. I would not recommend this place for any kind of party at all. Although the food was perfect, and the server was one of the best, you could have just need a better policy like yes, a large party can make a reservation so that you don't have all these people mad that has to sit out in the cold weather. read more

Oreganos is another Valley restaurant that has great service. I have tried many items on the menu. The salads are huge. The meatballs are one of my favorites along with the antipasto salad, shrimp scampi oh my and last but not least the Italian cheese cake is the best. I compare Oregano's creamy cheese cake to Carmines in Las Vegas and New York. The only reason I didn't give Oreganos a 5 was because we have ordered the thin crust pizza a couple of times and the pizzas were gooey on the bottom. We ordered a medium crust to go and it look like the pizza was throw into the box. I have not ordered the other types of pizza so my pizza review is on the thin crust only. read more
