The food was nothing less than wonderful but the service was the worst I have ever... and I mean ever seen in my life, the waiter dumped all the food on my slightly autistic daughter and didn't apologize once. We visited Oreganos on Mothers Day! Since it was Mothers Day, it was my wife's choice Andheri favorite place as she recently discovered Oreganos. On this particular visit and day, Oreganos may have lost a customer. The service was less than expected. I have never sat down to write a review within an hour of bringing home food but this is how unhappy I am with our Oregano's pizza. We are from Chicago so yes- we know what good pizza is... but this was next level-bad. Let me mention first that we got take out thin crust a couple of years ago from here and were disappointed. Since it had been a couple of years, we decided we'd give it one more chance, the stuffed pizza LOOKED pretty good in the photos. We ordered the 12" stuffed pizza with mushroom and peppers. It took a solid hour to be ready and cost $26. It was the MOST AWFUL pizza I have ever purchased. First, it was hard to taste anything other than parmesan cheese and SALT. My Lord, the salt. It's hard to imagine. While I saw some mushrooms and maybe a half strip of green pepper at best, I could not taste the flavor of either ingredient over the above mentioned favors. Usually I really enjoy the crust, but this one was clearly overcooked and tasted AWFUL, so the bummer is, I couldn't even scrap off the top and enjoy THAT. Also will mention some of the crust was legitimately wet and soggy. Ugh. I actually tried eating just the cheese, because hey - I'm hungry - and it was - weird? I felt like the texture was not smooth or like cheese in a good pizza should be. What a total waste and disappointment. My wish by leaving this review is that Oregano's send some to Chicago to learn how to make pizza. And people, - do not believe THAT is what Chicago pizza is! Gross. My husband felt the exact same way and I have to say with 100% honesty that we would have enjoyed the local Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and even the cheap Costco slice more than this. To me pizza is like a simple basic and I can't believe it's that hard to find a good one here in the Goodyear, AZ area! read more

As always the antipasto was amazing, however the pizza was GOD awful. I don't know if they changed the recipe but the salt content in the "sauce" was off the charts. We ordered extra sausage and extra onions, we were charged for that but we could not find any onion and the sausage was sparse. The small cheese pizza also had the salt riddled sauce.... I ordered The Antipasto Thing Salad from the Goodyear location, to go. Mind you this has happened three times in the past few months. Everytime I order they either leave half the ingredients off, as you can see, there is only pepperoni, parmesan, no tomatoes, no artichokes, no great selection of meats or cheeses, is all salad and this is for my guests. Of course, this only happens when it's take out and they are busy and I didn't check. I take part of the blame, but 3 times? I can go to Olive Garden and get a blah salad. I gotta do 4 stars. We have figured out to only do Oregano's when you see the wait is very small. Twice now we have been able to walk right in and sit down. This is NOT always the case! The wait can be ridiculously long on evenings. We will pass when it comes to that. So plan accordingly. I have had several items off their menu: thick crust pan pizza, Stuffed Riga TONY (yes this is how it's spelled on their menu), salad, artichoke dip, thin crust pizza and of course the pizza cookie. All of the listed dishes were packed with flavor, which is my kinda food. (Like serious flavor going on) I add meatballs to my Stuffed Riga Tony and it's perfect. The thick pan pizza takes an hour.. yes you read that correct an hour to bake!!! But they do warn you ahead of time so don't get this if you're not in the mood for an appetizer and to visit. I always leave this place stuffed! That's a good sign that the food is good and I eat too much. If only if was as good physically for me haha. No such luck. This is a fun place to go if you're looking for some yummy Italian grub. read more

Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite chain restaurants in the valley! The Goodyear location is one of the newest locations to open up. The good: The god is always very delicious and I haven't had anything I didn't like. The atmosphere is great! You feel like you are in little Italy in Boston, New York, or Chicago. The pizza is amazing by and the portion size is huge! If you leave hungry then you must have a tape worm...the pizookie is a must try for dessert. My favorites are the macadamia nut and salted Carmel cookies. The bad: there is always close to an hour wait when you come for dinner. The service was just okay and it took over an hour for our food to come out on a Tuesday night. The bathrooms are horrible... they are never very clean and only one stall and urinal for the whole restaurant and bar. Also end up waiting for a stall. Me and my family really enjoyed ourselves at this location!! The waiter was so sweet and helpful!! He made our night!! We had to make a reservation and the lady I spoke with on the phone was very polite and explained the process of being notified when our table is ready via text. I ordered Lady is a scampi and my husband ordered Big rig pasta... very big portions but also very delicious!! The wait was CRAZY long for a table for 3 - quoted 1 hour and 15 mins. After waiting for 25 mins, we saw an opening on the bar for 3 we took it and told them to remove us from the wait list. The service at the bar was OK. Too many thing happening for the staff. I got the lime parm chcicken wings, the flavor on them were good and strong. I ordered the chicken parm too. Lots of old antiques hanging everywhere feels like an old pizzeria and have a nice bar

We were sat a table and no one came over to even say hello or get drinks started. A larger party was seated after us and got taken care right away. We asked that waitress if she was working our table as well and she said no but she would bring us some waters. We got 2 waters and it was 4 of us. A member of our group talked to the manager Andrew and he saved that experience for us. We all frequent this location and it was to the point where we were not going to come back at all. Andrew helped us get drinks and put in our orders. He came back to check on us to make sure we were ok. Kudos to Andrew!!! read more

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants to eat , HOWEVER, on Thursday May 25 th me and my husband's family Went in and we left a cash tip but I however paid with card and didn't leave a tip on that tap and the waiter waited for me to sigh and hand her my receipt and she saw and made sure to say it loud and clear asking with attitude what was wrong with the service and I said nothing very confused by the question until she made another comment laud enough for the two other tables to turn and look she said " wow that's so rude for you not to leave a tip " we kept walking she kept talking to herself. Very bad experience. Joined the waitlist at 6:15 and we were supposed to be seated around 6:55/7:00 pm, I called in to let them know we had a large party and the hostess told us to put a party of 6 on the waitlist since I was not able to put more than 7 online. We arrived close to 7:00 pm and our table was still not ready, and we had to wait an additional 35 mins. Close to the 35 minute mark we were told that once the large table in front was empty that they'd clean the table for us and we'd be sitting there. More time passed by and the couple still had not left the large table. They also kept telling us another table was being cleaned which took over 20 mins. We kept asking the status so they tried to fit us in a very small booth in the back and a waitress got upset and told us we shouldn't have been seated there and that she'll be right back (she never came back). Then another hostess comes and says that since we were a large party that we cannot sit there and that we had to leave this table and WAIT again for another table. I let them know I had called in to let them know that we had a large party but that was ignored. We go to the front of the restaurant and one hostess says that the table we were originally supposed to be seated at was ready for us to sit and that they were just going to clean it. The table still hadn't been cleaned, so we went to sit down and another hostess very rudely said "this table isn't clean yet" so we basically got in trouble for sitting and she asked us "did you want to wait for it to be cleaned or sit while they clean" and we said well sit and wait for it to be cleaned because we had been waiting for a long time already. Mind you there was just a few drinks and small plates on the table. The hostess leaves and I believe a manager comes back and says we can no longer sit there because another party is supposed to sit there! This was very very bad communication on Oregano's staff and for them to tell us one thing and change the next was horrible customer service, especially them moving us table to table and then finally sitting after two hours of waiting that we can't sit there because it was reserved for another party, which was a huge lie because that was not told to us when we checked in. The manager was not helpful and very rude, I let him know that we had been waiting for almost 2 hours and he still would not let us sit there nor assisted us with a solution. We left and Oregano's had the audacity to call us back to get seated 10 minutes later. I will not go back there due to the horrible customer service and thankfully Olive Garden had no wait and the customer service at Olive Garden was amazing.
