Dora makes the meanest All Kale Cesar Salad there is, and don't think for a second that she won't give you the best damn customer service while delivering your to go order! Came here with the family on a Saturday around 5pm, mildly busy took us 25 minuets to get sat, (understandable) had a great house salad to start off with. We ordered a deep dish pizza "the works" it took a solid 35 mins, but when the pizza came out, it was well worth it. I'm from California and have traveled all over and have 100's of different types of pizza, and this pizza I had tonight, was by far the top 2. Very cool atmosphere, very, very friendly staff! Pizza is great. Service somewhat disfunctional. Arrived at 7pm and was told it would be 40 min wait. Opted to do get a to go order. Placed the order and sat at patio bar because inside bar was full. Several staff walked by in front and behind the bar. No acknowledgement. No drinks. Abandoned the outside bar for open seats at inside bar table right by front door. Went to inside bar and ordered drinks and was promptly informed the table was only for restaurant seating. Abandoned table. Thirty min into wait there were 4 tables open. Meh. Ok update. Hit the 60 min spot post arrival and just advised one of our pizzas wasn't made. Good news Mr. Morey we are going to buy your dinner tonight. Oh, wow. Oregano's has upbeat and attentive young servers - servers who actually seem happy to be there! This always is a plus in dining out. Our delicious thin crust pizza with sundried tomatoes, pepperoni, mushrooms, (your choice of toppings) was one of the best I've had in the valley. I loved the chicken Caesar salad which was superior to most - it was topped with pulled chicken, shaved parmesan slices and a tangy Caesar dressing. Oh Oregano's, how shall I rate thee? When my husband and I moved close by, we frequented this location. Or, at least tried to. The parking is INSANE. This is no exaggeration. There is really, seriously no place to park. On several occasions we wanted to eat here and didn't because we had no place to leave the car. I was always very excited to eat here but disappointed once I was there. Everything I ordered was less than awesome. The Pablo Picasso salad was dry, with very little dressing, and way spicier than described in the menu. The Southwestern Shrimp salad is supposed to be on a "bed of fried noddles." Sounds decadently delicious, right? It tasted like cooked and re-dried spaghetti. Literally inedible! The Big 'Ole Vedge sandwich sounds amazing but tastes totally bland, no flavor whatsoever. My husband has given the Italian Wedding soup a few different tries, but finds it is always way too salty. He gives their pasta the general description of "bland"; no matter which one he ordered, they all tasted the same. The only awesome food here is the pizookie cookie. A decadent, AMAZING dessert that, now that I think about it, I can easily make at home for half the cost and none of the hassle. Oh and the wait. An hour, minimum. No exceptions. You will always wait at Oregano's. My husband and I went so far as to CALL to put our names in, WALK to the restaurant, as parking is impossible, and we STILL had to wait nearly an hour! Why is it always crowded? Seems like everyone loves Oregano's. A varied menu with great choices especially pizzas and sandwiches. Great service. Easy parking. Tonight ... this place was HORRIBLE !!! Had 3 different wait staff ... We had not been sitting not 5 minutes when we were basically forced to order ... Ordered an appatizer ... salad and cheese bread ... the salad came out promply ... however the cheese bread did not come until AFTER the main dishes came ... and it was FREEZING cold ... could not even eat it ... Speaking of cold ... the main dishes were cold as well when they came out ... When something was said and the manager came over ... she made some excuse that her pasta maker tonight "was working extremely fast" ... and thats why we got the cold pasta before the cold bread ... She then offered us a free cookie due to it ... but why take it ? So it could come out hard as a rock with melted ice cream ... and still was charged for the bread and cold pasta ... It will be an EXTREMELY long time before we ever visit here again ... VERY DISAPPOINTING !!! read more

She was right, both Mom and my brother knew and liked the place, so it was easy to convince them to go. When we arrived, the hostess took our order (pizzas take about 45 minutes) and we were inside in about an half hour. GREAT PIZZA and that is from a pretentious chicago pizza snob. The pizza was spiced well, plenty of sausage, and the pan pizza crust was the right amount of chewy. We also ate a pizzookie. (A cookie baked in a pizza pan, with ice cream and chocolate sauce). We visited this restaurant after getting my daughter moved back to her dorm. She loves this place! We had to wait for an hour...it was only 4:30pm!!! Apparently, everyone shares her affinity for this place as well. We were in a hurry and ended up taking our food to go. When we opened the bag, we noticed we were missing the most important part of our order...her sausages. These are my daughter's favs. She was very disappointed and it ruined her appetite. Against her wishes, I contacted the manager. She was very pleasant and apologetic. She wanted to make it right but we were already on the other side of town. She took my daughter's name and took care of her on her next visit. Make sure you allow for enough time to enjoy the goodness of the food. Definitely worth the wait if you have the time. read more

Where Italian and Mexican meet on the same dishes. Nice twists on delicious food! Service was just ok, but the food's great. Best sausages - not greasy at all, full of flavor. The Scampi delivered big juicy shrimp and a unique garlic butter 'cilantro' sauce. The QuacaTony is a great sharer - and the wings were meaty, yet crispy. Meatballs are fanTASTIC, the antipasto is abundant and full of flavor. Don't forget the half baked pizookie... but you can forget your diet :) read more

Not what it used to be. I have been to Oregano's before but it was never like this! I went with a friend and we were looking forward to a great Italian meal. It was not to be. Our waitress (?) Lili, didn't bother with us for quite a few minutes. We asked for water which never arrived. We finally asked another server for water. My friend ordered chicken Alfredo. When it arrived, it was lacking enough sauce to cover the chicken and pasta. My dinner companion didn't eat most of his meal because of being to dry. I had spaghetti with marinara sauce. There was so little sauce on it that I ended up leaving most of the spaghetti because it was completely dry. They seem to be getting chintzy with their sauces. We both felt that this was probably the last time we would go there. We were ignored by the waitress (she spent plenty of time with the two men next to use, however.) By the way, we didn't ask for more sauce because the server ignored us most of the time! Not a great dinner experience. read more

What God's name are they trying to do with the concept of reservations? On Yelp, they say they don't take reservations. On their own website, they say they do take reservations ....THROUGH THE YELP APP!!! So what are they really doing? You NEVER get a table at this place without a massive wait. Food is good, but you wait for the third coming of christ for it to arrive at your table. I used to really like Oreganos, but they need to rethink their service and business model. I've been to this location a few times but this time was the absolute worst! My son and I were seated in the middle of the restaurant at a tall table. We were never acknowledged by a server let alone offered drinks. We sat around and waited for 10 minutes and eventually started to get up to leave. A server came rushing up to us to ask if anyone had helped us. We told him no and nobody had even acknowledged us. The server just offered a week apology and didn't try to retain us. On a Previous visit, there was an infestation of gnats hovering around the bar and side exit. We switched seats and ran into the same pests. The manager did offer a discount off of our meal. I don't think I want to go for a third strike... Very poor atmosphere here and seemingly high turnover with staff. read more

Yummy you can build your salad the way you like it and you can afford to pay for it, they don't charge through the nose. So worth the wait in line, every time! Must order the pizza with sausage, Italian Flag lasagna, and pizza cookie. The sausage will surprise you as it has just a kick of spice to make your mouth water. They took away the lasagna and just brought it back again. I hope they keep it permanently because it is hands down the best I've ever had and I'm a fanatic about lasagna. Pizza cookie is a must have. My girlfriend and I came on the 4th of July and had a great time. There was a wait to be seated inside so we opted to dine on the patio. The mist wasn't very strong but we were fine in the heat. We ordered the sproccoli stuffed pizza, unaware that it takes 45-60 minutes to cook. Our waitress, Dru, was extremely friendly and attentive and made sure we were comfortable during our wait. We also got a small dinner salad with house italian. It was delicious and a decent portion. Finally our pizza came. It was huge! (we ordered the 10'). We really enjoyed it, but maybe not for such a long wait. However, our time there was enjoyable and the staff is always very welcoming and helpful. read more
