Mediocre price, mediocre food. Hard to find good BBQ in Oregon that'll blow your mind, kind of frustrating, get what ya pay for though I guess. Staff is nice Had a pulled pork sandwich and chicken sandwich. The pulled pork was horrible and the chicken sandwich had a lot of fatty chucks. The chicken did have a decent flavor. The corn was pretty good though! My dog was happy with the pulled pork and fatty chicken. read more

The brisket, potato salad and beans were super yummy! The beans had a smokey flavor and chunks of bacon and meat. We'll definitely be going back! It exceeded our expectations for a good brisket. Got the tail end of the day. There were 6 cars in front of us and we were hoping it wouldn't take half hour sitting in the car waiting in line but we did. We were craving for the pulled pork based on others review but they ran out by the time we got to the window. We opted for whatever they had left which was brisket and chicken. Ordered the 2 meat combo priced at $16 somehow was told its $20. The portion were smaller than the brisket sandwich for $12 so that's that. Brisket was tasty. Chicken I could do without. The best customer service each and every time! Tuesday smoked turkey is outstanding! Other bbq is usually good but as with any bbq it can be hit and miss. I have gotten mouth watering brisket but I have also gotten chewy brisket. Pulled pork, same. I still go because it is good way more often then not good. read more

Scruffy looking place that might cause you to just keep driving. If you do that, it is a big mistake. Some of the best brisket I have had anywhere; pulled pork also sensational. Sides are solid, but the BBQ meats are the real show. Owners should make some effort to clean up the outdoor tables and cut grass around the tables. I like it, but have a few issues with it. The meat is good, but tends to be always a little too dry, the sides are ok, especially the potato salad, which I ordered again by mistake. Last, I find the prices a little steep, considering that it's not a restaurant, but a joint that does mostly take out. 14$ for 1/4 of rack of ribs seems like a little bit much.... Yum!! We were sad to see BoMacks leave downtown Albany, and are beyond ecstatic to see another delicious BBQ joint open up! I loved the pulled pork, sweet and smokey on a kaiser roll. The BBQ baked beans were delicious as well, with thick chunks of meat mixed in. My husband loves the brisket sandwich, the rub is so flavorful he didn't need the BBQ sauce. This was the best BBQ that I have had in a very long time. I was visiting the area and had hopes of trying their brisket after I saw them on yelp. When I got there I was told to hold so they could check if it was still available. LUCKILY it was. It quite possibly was the best brisket I have ever eaten. The sides where great as well. The giant pit at the front of the property clearly hasn't been used in a long time, as the propane tanks give it away. I got the lazy dog, and it is just that... lazy. The coleslaw hides the bland sausage and pulled pork. The place is quick though. read more

We came to try for the first time on Wednesday June 10th 2020 and It was AMAZING. The management was awesome and the food was great. Family had the pulled pork sandwiches for lunch. I had the ribs. We had the potato salad and baked beans. Potato salad was fantastic. Dill and bacon in it. Beans were good too with pieces of pulled pork in it. Pulled pork was moist, tender and sweet. Ribs were excellent! St. Louis cut and very sweet sauce with the right amount of sweet, salt and mild heat in the rub. Good smoke ring. But not over smoked. Prices are on par with any other good BBQ restaurant in the valley and they will give Bo-Mack's a run for their money. Bo-Mack's have baby Back's and more of a cherry flavor. If Bo-Mack's still had their original location and full menu, they'd still be on top. I'd say it's a toss up. This place's BBQ is legit. Well done! We will be back. read more

Being a Texas BBQ guy (and a bit of a snob at that) I had low expectations for finding good BBQ in Oregon. But I was proven wrong by Oregon Barbecue Company. In a tiny purple hut, this place is churning out quality BBQ which would hold its own in Texas. The brisket was almost perfectly cooked, well sliced, and had a flavor profile that enhanced the meat while not overpowering the natural beef flavor. The ribs were also a lovely surprise, tender and with a nice balance of muted spice and late sweetness. Kudos to the owners (Tanner, Nathan and Adam) who came and chatted us up for a bit. We were heading south on I-5 and decided to stop at the Oregon Barbecue for lunch based on Yelp reviews. What a great find. I had the pulled pork lunch special with coleslaw as the side. I put some of the coleslaw on top of the sandwich. It was delicious. My husband had the Lazy Dog. It is a hot dog cut in half on a bun with pulled pork and coleslaw on top. A little messy, but quite tasty. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely return here again when passing through! read more

We heard many great things about Oregon BBQ, and were very excited to try it out. It is unfortunate that it was so disappointing. As far as a drive through bbq, it was great. We got brisket without getting out of the car. However, the quality of food was not even worth 1 star. We got 2 combos, one sausage combo and one with brisket and pulled pork. The sausage tasted like Vienna sausage. The brisket had very little flavor and had no bark on it. it tasted stale and tasted like it was soaked in liquid smoke before it was served. The pulled pork had a nasty after taste to it, like it was old or something was wrong. I had to douse it in bbq sauce to cover up the taste. Came in around 6pm on a Friday night. Ordered the two meat platter with pulled pork and chicken because they were out of brisket. The pulled pork was lifeless and looked like it was served flwith an ice cream scoop. It was gummy and was probably cooked yesterday or the day before. The chicken was good, but the baked beans probably came from a can where they also added yesterday's pulled pork to it. Since they were out of corn as a side dish I also ordered the coleslaw which was dry.
