I've been going to Organics Salon for the last 3 years or so. My first stylist was Jess and she was awesome! Very attentive and we did lots of fun stuff with my hair. She ended up moving out of state, so I switched over to Alyssa, who is also fantastic! Alyssa and I have the funniest conversations and she's always enthusiastic about whatever I want to do with my hair. The entire staff is friendly and the salon has been doing a wonderful job of maintaining social distancing and mask guidelines due to COVID-19. I am SO happy they are still open after the city had to shut down. If you are looking for a new salon, definitely give these guys and gals a call! read more

I did not want to post this review as I was waiting on a phone call from the manager or owner which I was told would be calling me and never received the phone call and it is very upsetting. I went in to get partial highlights retouched with Mya, I honestly do not know what happened as I was told that " The lady washing my hair Lorena, did not wash away the bleach completely before putting in the toner". First, if the hair stylist that I made an appointment with was busy she should've came and checked on her clients hair first instead of just telling the helper to "mix this color with this color". Instead she was busy attending to another client and doing her highlights, two clients at the same time? When she finally saw my highlights were pink/orange , She had all the other stylists in the salon take me back to the wash station to try and fix my hair by placing a detox shampoo on my hair, while she was still attending her other client. They took me back to another stylists chair and my hair was still the same color and I had my touch up highlights orange and my original caramel. I told the stylist helping me that it still did not look ok, they stylist agreed as well and called Mya to look at my hair. Mya than agreed and said she didn't know why my hair was not wanting to go back to the caramel color I wanted and that she also was not happy with my color. While all this is going on, I was very calm and quiet because I understand sometimes things happen and even the other stylists agreed that I was very nice about the situation and never had seen anyone act like that. but than when Mya told me " I am going to give you this purple shampoo so you can take home and apply your self to see of the color gets to the color you want" and also saying "we will remove some costs but will still charge you for the highlights" I thought okay.... this is not my fault this your mistake for not being aware of your clients hair and your helpers. I went to the front to pay and they charge me a total of $169.00. , what cost did they remove? Honestly , I thought with that charge this is ridiculous you did not make up for your mistakes and had me in a salon from 9:30 am-1:30 pm and still managed to charge me that amount of money? I waited to see if I received a phone call but I did not receive anything. I went to another salon the very next day as I needed to catch a plane back home and the salon managed to fix my hair in a total of 2 hours and I still paid LESS than what Organics salon charged me (robbery). I am in shock with the lack of professionalism. Never will I be going back there again as well as my mother. read more

Front receptionist was extremely helpful to set up appointment with Mel,.. I was highly satisfied with my hair style & Cut. I had not been to a salon in over 10 yrs since my mom was a hair stylist and cuts my hair normally but she moved out of state and I needed a summer cut and had a appointment for maternity pictures with twins the next weekend. I would highly recommend Mel, great personality and welcoming her experience with all types of hair especially my thick long hair. Inside is clean and inviting, they get busy so set appointment for a better experience. Came in to fix a haircut I had done about a week prior at another salon. Rachel P. did a great job. She heard me out and suggested a few cuts close to what I was wanting. She took her time and also showed me how she would blow dry it at home to have the same style as I was getting at the salon. I went in for a cut and style and ended up having to wait roughly 30 minutes past my scheduled time to get started with my shampoo. I asked for a big chop with layers and a loose fringe. Ella C is a miracle worker! She took my hair from an uneven dark brown, other shades of brown, gray, red and who knows how many other tones and colors to an evenly gorgeous light brownish red with highlights, balayage, and tint. My ultimate goal is to go strawberry blonde or a warm toned blonde but I want to do it slowly to preserve the health of my hair. She listened to me, told me what could be done and did exactly that! I was new to Pflugerville looking for a good place to get a simple haircut. I have medium to long curly/frizzy/wavy red hair that I straighten on the regular. I don't color treat my hair and my haircuts are pretty simple. I usually get 2 inches trimmed off and layers added to lighten it up. When I first went I had an appointment with Ella C. and I am so happy I did. She does such a great job with my hair and is able to blow dry it straight. I also told her that I had a ton of residue building up on my hair straightener and she told me it is the result of buying cheap shampoo. I switched to their Aveda Smooth Infusion and there has been zero build up on my straightener and my hair is so much healthier. I love Ella. It is so easy to connect and chat with her and she is so talented. She also legitimately cares about her clients being happy. I am so happy I found my go to place. read more

Dylan was my hair super hero!! He saved the day. I had a horrible balayage job and he helped get my hair back to beautiful. Even if it wasn't what I originally wanted he made my budget and my wants meet. I have already made another appointment with him and am excited to see what happens to my hair next. I got my hair done by Ella yesterday and I'm in LOVE! I went in with a pretty vague idea of what I wanted done, but I knew I wanted a big change. Ella consulted with me and helped me come up with the prefect cut and color, she showed me swatches and got really creative. I walked in with long blonde hair and walked out with a short brown bob with gorgeous almost rosy highlights. She is also super personable and fun, as were the other stylists I met. This is a tough one to write. I've had great experiences here in the past. In May, 2014, I called for a last-minute, walk-in appointment. At the time, I had long hair and decided to go for an extreme change. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Heather Mancies. I put my hair in her hands (literally as well as figuratively), and I was incredibly happy. I've been seeing her ever since. Imagine my surprise when I called a few weeks ago and found out Heather was no longer there! I was offered another stylist, but I have a very tough time finding someone who can cut my hair well. I wasn't able to get any more information on where Heather went. I happened to get very lucky with Heather, and I'd rather see what I could do about finding her instead. With a little digging, I was able to find her. She's now on her own, at Thairapy by Heather. While I know that every salon is in business to make money (I'm sure that's why they offered me another stylist), I would rather stick with a stylist who I know can do a great job with my hair. I got lucky with Heather. I'd rather stay with her than take a chance on someone else. And, additional perk for me -- Heather's new location is closer to home for me. read more

I left feeling like $75 for a simple pixie trim was too much, but my fault for not asking how much before. Then I washed it and tried to style it myself. My sideburns are 2 different lengths and the top is super uneven, with too much weight and has a wild stray curl on one spot. And there is nothing I can do to make it look like anything but a man's cut. Even worse is I paid so much to be stuck with something I can't even fix because I can't go much shorter from a pixie. Maybe the place is decent for long hair but definitely not the place for us short haired girly girls. read more

This review is based solely on their brow waxing service: I called ahead to book my appointment, inquired about their waxing services and asked about their prices. They said brow waxing would be $14-$17 and any additional services added on would of course be extra. I arrived for my appointment and everyone was very friendly. It is a small space but it seemed they had a good stream of regular clients coming in for hair services. They offered me a beverage and I sat down to wait. However, my waxing service was merely average. This salon does not specialize, so their service providers do everything (in my case, my girl was a hair stylist, colorist and offered facial waxing). If this doesn't bother you, then I believe you would be satisfied with their service. I prefer to see an esthetician for my waxing, and so I was a little bummed they didn't distinguish that to guests. My girl was friendly and meticulous. Like I said, the brow wax itself was average. I am giving it two stars because they didn't consult with me on how I like my brows to be shaped, they didn't wear gloves, and I still had some wax sticking to my face as I left. I previously posted a comment for this salon when they resided in round rock but Britney was there and did a fab job on sleek bobs. But now that they moved to Pflugerville and Britney is gone I have hated my cuts. In December 2017 I got a trim on my bob and the lady cut all the way to my chin and made a puffy bob (ugh). I went back and asked for her not to trim my bob and let someone else do it... big mistake, I asked 2 inches off the back only to blend in to the front for a sleek long bob. And she cut 2 inches all around, and again made it puffy?? If you are wanting a bob this is not the place for you, unless you like 10 year old hair cuts. They are nice but not qualified to cut. Will not be coming back, and will try and take my good review off. read more

I went here to have my hair cut and styled. I wanted my long hair donated and I had previously measured my hair. She asked how long I needed it to be I said a minimum of 10 inches. She measured several times and still only cut 8.5 inches. Luckily I can still donate it to Pantene however that's not what I asked for. After my haircut the more experienced stylist had to fix my hair. I'm happy with my haircut however I wouldn't return based on my experience. read more

Updated my review to reflect their salon policy - no bang trims on Fridays or Saturdays. This is the first time I've ever come across a salon that does not schedule bang trims on Fridays or Saturdays. (I'm still reeling from how odd that is.) I even have a stylist that I see for cut/color there, but it is still against their policy to schedule that kind of appointment on Fridays or Saturdays. Its not for new bangs, just trimming what I have out of my eyes. But, no. Just a flat out no. Since having a baby, I haven't had time to come in to treat myself, but recently thought, 'Hey, I should touch base with Jess about my hair color while trimming up my fringe.' But no. It's against their policy, and the rest of the week doesn't fit in with my work/baby schedule. I went from a loyal customer who had left glowing reviews in the past to someone who never wants to come back, all in one short phone call. Original Review: Always a great time when I come in for my haircut. Jess does a fantastic job with my dense coarse hair and is a great conversationalist - even with an introvert like me. The banter from other stylists also brightens the atmosphere. The music changes every time I visit (No Lana Del Rey on repeat, thank you!) I went in here feeling all sorts of depressed bc I had just broke it off with my boyfriend of 2 years. I walked in and immediately felt such positive energy. I was greeted amazingly by 2 lovely receptionists and given a tea. My hair was oily and gross bc I hadn't done anything to it in a long time. I didn't book an appt so I didn't know what to expect. I was given Dylan and man... I love that man! He made me feel and look brand new and so confident. I LOVED everything!
