Thorough, professional and my rugs never looked better since the first day I brought them home! I just had four rugs cleaned and two of those repaired. The repairs are meticulous. The rugs are spotless. I recommend them so highly that I just sent two more of my own rugs for cleaning and one of those is also getting a repair. My rugs are twenty year old all wool hand woven orientals. They the real deal and are big room size heavy rugs. They come in, inspect the rugs, move furniture, take them up, and replace the furniture. When they bring them back they move the furniture, place the rugs where I want them, make sure pads are straight and flat, then replace my furniture. So not only do they do good work on cleaning and repairs, they are utmost professional in take away and delivery. They have earned all of my future business. I recommend them for you too! read more

Oriental Rug Appraisal Justin came the day after I talked to him. He was prompt, quiet, professional, thorough, and efficient. He gave us some good advice on maintenance and preservation. This is the first rug appraisal we have had so I don't have anything to compare it to but I feel confident in his appraisal. I was not thrilled with the appraisal value because the sellers said it was from a different place and valued quite a bit higher. Anyway, it is good to know where we stand and I am very glad we did it. It cost $350. $100 per rug with certificate and $50 house call. read more

Sent 4 carpets to be cleaned. They did a superb job of getting a larger stain out of one of the carpets which had been cleaned over the years by three other cleaners. Also, are the only clearners who washed the fringe on three of the carpets. Would definitely use again and highly recommend. read more

I wanted to get an appraisal, so we'd know what to ask for when selling, but Justin advised that he could give me an approximate value. He asked me to get him some specific pictures which I did -- and he was kind enough to look them over carefully and give me some very specific information about my rug. He let me know what it would likely appraise at, and what it will likely sell for. AND he gave me a really nice description to use for selling purposes. I was ready to throw my 2 silk runner carpets in the trash, because 5 years ago a friend brought her puppy to my house, and the puppy had an accident on the carpets. I tried getting the stain out (big mistake) my-self, and damaged the carpets more. I remembered on Manchester Ave., in Encinitas seeing a sign on the road for cleaning oriental carpets. I took my 2 silk rugs to the shop, and met the owner, Daniel. He said to leave the carpets, even though they were in bad shape. I picked them up, and could not believe my eyes. Stains gone, color was restored, and they looked almost new, and CLEAN. I took another silk rug to him, and the same thing happened. I could not be happier with the work they did, and I am so happy I did not throw the rugs in the trash. I could not recommend them more highly. They also are very knowledgeable and polite. Dropped off two Turkish rugs on 6/24/15 for cleaning and minor repairs and was told it would take three weeks. Called on 7/22 and was told they were done. Went to pick them up and turns out they had been cleaned and not repaired. Was then told they would be delivered to me the following week. It is now 8/27 and not only do I not have my rugs, but I can't reach anyone to ask about them. I call every day and get voicemail. No one returns my calls. Not sure how to get my rugs back. read more

My rugs come from my grandfather, and are very old. Consequently, when my mother told me that she had finally found someone who she could recommend to clean the rugs, I paid attention. Her experience with Oriental Rug Pros was really above and beyond, to include the removal of previous dye damage incurred from a poor job done by another company. Daniel and Justin came to pick up the rugs in Coronado, gave me an impromptu lesson on each of three rugs, told me about their machines and processes, and then showed me the areas they recommended reparing when the were doing the cleaning. I was so impressed, I called my husband who had two large silk Kashmiri rugs in La Jolla he also added to the order. In all, the five large rugs were picked up, cleaned and had major repairs, and delivered in three weeks for under $1500. These guys did a great job on my rug! My puppy had snacked on the edges and the vacuum cleaner had shredded the fringe. Not only did it come back sparkling clean, the repairs were flawless. Don't trust them with your rugs. Maybe they used to be good a few years ago. This place is a total disaster now. First, I couldn't get my rugs back just like other reviewer Adam R. I kept calling and getting a voicemail. When I did get my rugs, one of the wool rugs was completely stretched out of shape. I guess they just wash a wool rug? I am very disappointed.
