We have visited this place on 3 occasions over the last 2 months. Pros: The food tastes pretty good. My toddler is a fan of their stir fried noodles. Cons: Unfortunately all 3 times we've tried to order there the food was not ready when we arrived... which is extremely frustrating when you've got a toddler screaming their head off saying they're hungry and you're placing an order online at least 30-40 minutes in advance. For the price we're paying for a wrap you'd think it would be bigger. Maybe we just need to get the larger size one for it to be filling. If they can improve on their food delivery times we would be happy to continue eating there. We ordered two Double Rainbow Wraps and had them each cut in half. I'd say each double wrap is equivalent to 2-3 sushi rolls. Fresh ingredients and there is a good amount of raw fish for the price and location. In addition to normal soy sauce packets, they have soy sauce mixed with Wasabi in small containers. Service was great! After receiving our food at our table, we were checked in on for if we needed anything else and if the food was okay. We were even asked if we wanted water cups; at most places the customer has to ask for one first. Then, as we were cleaning up to leave, the woman said we could leave the plates on the table; not common for an order at the counter place. I walked in to a clean well decorated place, i ordered and was seated right away. They brought out the appetizers first and after like ten minutes (which is average) for the udon to come out. They also cut and fold the lemons into unique designs which really impressed me. Great place and would definitely recommend! read more

Both wraps were good in their own way; however, we liked the rainbow wrap more because the crab mix was tasty. Wraps (though fun-sized), pack quite a decent punch... Fresh ingredients, fresh/quality sushi & I really dig the edible (soy?) paper, allowing you to remove the butcher paper altogether & dip the wrap unobstructed & in-tact into your soy sauce (& into your mouth)... Salmon Bake (also fun-sized), was also quite good, as was the Tempura. My only complaint (outside of the default size of the wrap, which per their website, you CAN double for 50% more), are the Teriyaki dishes. Gave the Combination Beef & Shrimp a shot, but the Beef had the texture of what you'd expect from an Americanized broccoli beef dish. Also wasn't a fan of the baby shrimps (which I'm guessing are likely frozen?), having a boiled texture to them... Had the beef had a meatier texture vs being semi-gelatinous + the shrimps being a bit larger/grilled (or even prawns), I'd likely consider giving the entrees another shot. For the time being, I've been ordering 2 wraps at a time (Origami & the Rainbow) & have been visiting damn near 2x a week since they've opened shop... One additional suggestion for Origami (assuming you're listening?); It'd be great if you considered adding miso soup to your menu... Mmm... Maybe even Asari Miso (あさり味噌汁)? I was EXTREMELY excited to find out this place opened less than 5 minutes away from me!! I've been an avid Pocket Sushi lover for the past few months, and I have literally been crossing my fingers and hoping a place with a similar concept (if not PS itself) would open up closer so I wouldn't have to drive the 15 minutes to Pleasanton lol. One our favorite spots. We tried the teriyaki, tonkatsu, rolls, udon, takoyaki, sushi bake. The place is clean, which is rare for takeout places. They are accommodating and friendly. The food is good and the prices are excellent value. We get their specials a lot of times. Food is served hot and they have been great getting our orders out. The front guy who runs it is great- friendly and on top of things. I've watched how he's provided excellent customer service to other customers while we were waiting for our food. Even when we get takeout it's thoughtfully packed with my udon noodles in a separate bowl from the soup so it's not soggy. Couldn't be happier with this place.
