Went with my grandson to do one of my pizza reviews and was pleasantly surprised. The cheese pizza tasted great. Felt it was really fresh ingredients and quite delicious . Very good crust, not really thick.My grandson who's pretty fussy gave it on the barstool ratings a 9.3 . I gave it an 8.5 which means I'd go out of my way to get pizza from this place. But when i got home the first thing i always check is the Crust,Sauce,and especially the Cheese which to me makes a Excellent Pie. My sister is new to the area so we have been trying different spots. Today we ordered a penne alla vodka pizza pie, calamari and zeopples. The pizza was a good size and the vodka sauce was delicious. We liked the fact that it is not overly saucy. Calamari also good, very generous portion. Zeopples are hefty, nice and dense. We definately will be ordering again. read more

Went when we first moved to Commack a few years back. Just reflecting on our experience reminds me of why I won't go back. We ordered a calzone but didn't come with sauce on the side. We asked the front counter person for a cup of sauce to go but after we had paid. As he was handing us the cup of sauce the manager or owner from the back yelled up and said to charge us something less than a dollar after he had handed it to us. Rigatoni a la vodka: it's all about the sauce in this dish and it didn't disappoint. Full of flavor, and plenty of sauce. Even enough to dip some of Brooklyn's delicious, soft bread in! Yum! I do like some prosciutto pieces in the sauce but there weren't any. Only a few microscopic pieces of what I think was prosciutto. Chicken parm panini: Wow! My sister requested ricotta on top and that knocked it out of the park! Huge portion on delicious bread. Flavorful tomato sauce, lots of chicken, mozzarella cheese and of course ricotta. My family always orders the grilled chicken and broccoli rabe panini. They love it. It's chock full of broccoli rabe, mozzarella and chicken on the same bread as the chicken parm panini. Tons of fresh garlic! Ravioli parm, mozzarella sticks, chicken parm hero, and meatball hero were all gobbled up and I wasn't even able to get pics!! The adults and kids were all happy. Start with good. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Had a grandma slice and fried zucchini strips. They seem to use inferior mozzarella cheese which was stringy and pretty bland. The eternal question... was the hero roll too big, or was the chicken cutlet too small??? Either way my chicken parm hero suffered from either too much bread or not enough cutlet. Chicken little called for take-out. And meatballs are just that, balls. They are round and spherical, not cut up and arranged on the plate to look like a larger portion. Great Pizza!!! We ordererd half plain, half pepperoni. Garlic knots are delicious, not too garlicky or salty, just right. They were kinda small, so order enough! Pepperoni pinwheels are good too. The pizzerias in commack charge 50 cents on average to add pepperoni to a slice of pizza. This place charges a dollar 50.
