We found this place early in the morning when we were about to check out of our hotel and head home. We wanted a place to eat that was on our way home. We were initially scared off by the tales of long lines but we got there around 8:30 and there was no wait. I had the Dutch baby and oh my goodness I've never had a pancake as good as this. It was crispy and tender and the lemon/sugar/butter sauce they serve is delicious. I wanted to drink it like soup. My husband had the strawberry Dutch and said it was very good. The only negative: the bacon was terrible. It was chewy and had ZERO bacon flavor. I don't understand how bacon can have no flavor. If we were closer we'd be back but I hear there's one in White Plains, not far from where we live so we will be going there. read more

Service and Ambiance are good to above average. The problem with this place is food, especially food for price point. The food barely rates a 1* and that is being nice. Order done on a Friday morning before a long weekend included 2 coffees, 2 kids OJ, a strawberry crepe pancake, egg sandwich, sausage links and French toast. The only thing of this we'd rate above a 2* for food was the sandwich. The crepe was ok. Nothing special and nothing worth the effort they put in to make it look nice. The strawberry syrup was ok (a bit grainy) and over sweetened. The big fail was the "crunchy" French toast. Limp bread, way too much egg and not cooked off nearly enough so there were still soft/wet spots on the bread when brought out. Add that the syrup at this "pancake house" is nothing of note, and you got a 1* food quality when you're dropping more than $65 on the above before tax and tip. IHOP would be a better option bang for buck than this place. Oh and the coffee is tasteless to boot. Not even the coffee could redeem this place. read more

This restaurant is located in a small outdoor shopping mall. The parking is shared, so it might be a challenge to find a spot if your go during the busy hours. Once we were inside, they had two lines at the entrance. One line is for party of two or less, and the other line is for party of three or more. Make sure everyone in your group is there, since they will not seat you unless everyone in your party is present. We got Original Skillet and Dutch Baby. Original Skillet didn't come in a skillet, which was a bit disappointing. The eggs were cooked to perfection, cheesy goodness, and potato had nice seasoning with tiny little kick to it. Great volume and super satisfying! We added fresh berries to Oven Baked Dutch Baby. When it came to our table, we were in awe of its size...it was huge! The fresh berries came on the side, so that the pancake didn't get soggy. The pancake was so fluffy and doughy and delicious! Fruits were nice and ripe, so good! The restaurant is a pretty large, but not big enough for the demand. By 9:30am, the lines were out the door! Our server, John was great, polite and friendly, took a good care of us. We came here on a nice Friday afternoon on a free day. We wanted to try the famous the Dutch Baby and pancakes for a while now. They seem to be always busy on the weekends, a good sign really. These pancakes are the most stellar pancakes I've ever had! I think they are better than all of the pancakes in the world TO BE HONEST. The omelettes are a monstrosity (in a good way) - they are HUGE. They taste great, but definitely can feed a family of 4. I ordered the vegetable omelette and the waiter asked if I wanted cheese or not or if I wanted it on the side. I did not really understand the question because I thought omelettes always had cheese inside. However, when I finally got the omelette I realized how big it was and how much cheese I was truly consuming. It is directly located in the City Place at the Promenade, a shopping and residential area right by the water. There are several parking spots right in front of the restaurant, but they get filled up quick! One of the breakfast places that open earlier than the others (7 am). Our server was wonderful and attentive. She brought over a glass bottle of water with two cups and constantly asked us if we needed extra plates or anything. She also provided napkins when she saw we used up the ones wrapping the utensils. My boyfriend and I shared an order of the breakfast tacos and mini dutch baby. The breakfast tacos were delicious with a crunchy taco shell and filled with egg, avocado and everything delicious (especially the green sauce)! Then, the mini dutch baby smelled terrific when it arrived on the table. The bottom was made out of more egg than I expected and the sides were beautifully toasted and delicious. We got the huevos rancheros, corned beef hash and eggs, which came with a few silver dollar pancakes, and the mini Oven Baked Dutch Baby. The huevos rancheros were pretty bland, but otherwise good. The corn beef hash and eggs were very good, perfectly seasoned. The silver dollar pancakes were also pretty good, definitely one of the better pancakes I've had. First time visiting this restaurant with my husband. He ordered a vegetarian omelette and I ordered the skillet. No pancakes. Well - after we placed our order the manager came over and asked why we didn't order pancakes. No reason we wanted what we ordered, there was no reason why. She placed a short stack on our table and told us we had to at least try them and walked away. She told us we wouldn't be disappointed. Well, well, well, oh my, my, my - I think my husband and I both had an out of body experience. They were light, fluffy and just damn delicious. I will drive 40 minutes just to have the pancakes. Come hungry but come EARLY. It's worth getting up early on the weekend. That way you don't have to search for a parking spot or wait to be seated. The tables are small and close together, but it reminds me of eating in a lot of NYC restaurants. They brought us our food in stages, which was actually nice since there wasn't a lot of table space. It's like an apple pie except fluffier. It was also huge, so if I come again, I would split one of these. Although it was good cold later when I had it for leftover breakfast.
