I was dealing with wisdom teeth pain for 2 months and simply thought it was a tooth pushing. Each night was a headache and hard to sleep or even eat. I registered online (great option by the way) scheduled an appointment for Thursday to get an exam/x-ray. Come to find out they needed to be pulled. They were so accommodating and Maria explained to me so well of what the options were and how things could go. They were even willing to extract them for me the same day but I wasn't prepared. I scheduled for Friday morning instead (next day). During my visit I got to meet some of the nicest people that clearly LOVE their profession. Everyone from the front to the procedure itself were excellent in making my nerves calm for this. I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Maria, Andrew, Sonia, Dr. Bhatti, and Amanda, for helping to guide me with patience and compassion for the situation I was in. You all made a nerve wrecking situation very pleasant and 3 days later I have 0 pain whatsoever (I've had 0 pain since the procedure at all which is outstanding). I looked at 4 other places before finally discovering this place and I'm glad I did. People like the staff here are the type that should train others in every profession when it comes to how to treat people with kindness and the ability to have positive impacts in their journey! When it was time to pay, I noticed charges for an exam, X-rays, and cleaning. I told the front desk I only received a cleaning, and she checked with the dentist. He claimed he had done an exam -- but he was the one who cleaned my teeth himself, and there was no separate exam performed. I'm disappointed because I was charged for a service I clearly declined and didn't receive. Patients deserve honesty and transparency in billing. Always review your statement carefully before paying.

I went in a few weeks ago as a new patient after moving to the area. I scheduled what I thought was a routine cleaning. Instead, I spent OVER TWO HOURS being subjected to what felt like one long sales pitch, only to eventually be asked whether I wanted to have my teeth cleaned that day. Yes- the cleaning I had scheduled the appointment for in the first place. I was told that I had FOUR cavities, despite never having more than one cavity identified at any dental appointment in my life. I was repeatedly pushed toward add-on services, including an oral cancer screening, yet during this supposed screening, the dentist did not even examine under my tongue or palpate the surrounding lymph nodes. I also was not clearly informed that the X-rays they took would not be covered by my insurance until after they had already been performed. Somehow, my supposedly routine, insurance-covered cleaning appointment still left me with a bill of more than $200. But the treatment plan was what really set off alarm bells. The dentist specifically described my alleged cavities as very small, surface-level cavities that she prefers to fill before they become larger. Yet my itemized treatment estimate included pulp caps for all of them, which are medically indicated for protecting the pulp in substantially deeper decay and, conveniently, not covered by my insurance. Even more concerning, one of my supposed cavities was identified between my teeth using AI. When I asked to see it, the dentist was unable to show me the cavity on the X-ray or provide a photograph demonstrating it. At that point, I sought a second opinion. The second dentist told me I have ONE cavity that needs to be filled. NOT FOUR. One. I completely understand that dentists can have different treatment philosophies and that there can be legitimate disagreement about when early decay should be treated versus monitored. What I experienced here went far beyond a difference in philosophy. Between the aggressive treatment recommendations, questionable add-ons, lack of transparency about costs, and the enormous discrepancy between their treatment plan and an independent second opinion, I left feeling that generating revenue was a much higher priority than earning my trust as a patient. Dentistry depends on patients being able to trust that when a provider tells them they need irreversible treatment, they actually need it. Experiences like this are exactly why people become suspicious of the dental industry in the first place. If you are told you suddenly need extensive dental work here, get a second opinion before allowing anyone to touch your teeth. I am extremely glad I did.

The Windermere Center for Dentistry is a clean, welcoming office that's about a 20-minute drive for me--super convenient and right near downtown Windermere. The waiting area is simple and standard (no spa-like frills, but honestly, I'm not here for the magazines). The staff at the front desk are friendly and efficient, which makes the check-in process smooth every time. Where this office really shines is the dental team itself. Everyone I've worked with has been professional, kind, and genuinely good at what they do. Cleanings are thorough but not uncomfortable, and they recently upgraded their chairs to include pillows--which is a surprisingly nice touch of comfort when you're reclined for a while. Dr. Rapport is excellent. She's knowledgeable, attentive, and you can tell she cares about her patients' dental health. Sometimes it's a little tough to catch everything she says through the mask, but that's part of the times we're in. What matters is that she explains clearly, makes sure you're taken care of, and most importantly--she keeps me on track with my oral health. At the end of the day, it's a team effort: I do my part at home, and they keep me polished and on track here.
