First of all, it's not inexpensive to do nails as we all can agree. I went in and a girl named "YY" highly recommended by my client disappointed me from beginning to end. I paid $70 and this girl had no courtesy whatsoever. She was just there doing my nails like a robot no matter how I tried to input how I wanted them done. In the end, my nails looked like they were cemented around my cuticles. Smh. I have seen Kitty in the past. She wasn't there then but if I went back, I probably would give her another shot. She's warm and attentive and actually confirms with you during the process. Management please work on your ladies. Your spa and nice and cute. Put people that go along with that elegance. This is the nail salon comedians make fun of. As soon as you open the door they talk about you !! I consider myself low maintenance nails. I get a plain mani every week. No requests. very simple and if I don't like the color eh who cares I'll change it next week. It's not that serious. But If you have any request the nail tech is not happy with they get annoyed. No customer service at all. It's a bunch of kids doing nails with attitudes, very clicky. I have given this places so many chances because the place is nice, clean and was renovated after covid. It's a Good location and could be a great place. Unfortunately the nail techs are very entitled and never held accountable. There's to many nail salons in the neighborhood to settle. read more

I got a gel pedi and it was pretty good. the service was good I liked the shape and application of gel. They had a lot of color options to choose from. The only thing I will say is that the service felt rushed. And I know it was only a basic pedi but other places spend a little longer, I felt that I barely had time to soak my feet. read more

I wanna start by saying how amazing and sweet Leah is....she gave me the best nail experience I've ever gotten. She gave me a gel French pedicure and dip French extension manicure and she did an amazing job. She took her time which i appreciated the most. She took attention to detail and even asked me to check at very process to make sure i loved them. She was so personable and she we even had the nicest conversations. Having just moved to the area I'm so happy i found a technician i can trust. I highly recommend Leah. I was in the salon for 2 & 1/2 hrs which yes is long but i 100% loved every minute of it. I was so tired so getting sloppy nails and not getting the attention to detail that I love. Btw she also hand landed the French in my nails and toes. Horrible service. Not sure what her name is but had a glittery black clip and sits in the second to last on the left side desk. She is Older with a jade bangle and what seems to be a tattooed eyeliner. She is HORRIBLE. I paid for a spa bundle and it included an 8 min massage. She set the timer and took her time finding the lotion and wasting time putting on the lotion. She barely massaged. She was so rude and just used one finger to spread lotion on calf and foot. When it came to the hand massage, she just applied the lotion and then wiped it straight off with a hot towel. So not relaxing at all. Horrible experience. I'm a regular customer but honestly after that, I wouldn't be returning. She really ruined the experience of the nail salon. Stay away. I was satisfied with the service and the quick, yet amazing painting job. However, a few hours after I noticed that my cuticles became inflamed and painful... I came here for the $30 gel mani and reg pedi special on Mon-Wednesday's. You think for the price that it's a great deal. The service however is the lowest quality I've even had at a nail salon. I added the callus remover for my pedi and I've never had such a short foot scrub in my life. She took less than 5 mins for both my feet. I touched the soles of my feet and still felt the rough edges and told her this. She did nothing. My gel polish was just average. There were lumps and uneven coloring in my nails which I expected for such a cheap deal. Some nail salons thin out their polishes for "longer uses". Clearly what is happening here. I don't recommend this nail salon and with the plenty of competition around it just doesn't make sense to come waste your money here. I will not be returning. read more

Since I was in the area I wanted a quick pedicure. While at citibank the teller had great ombre nails and recommended the place. I was taken in as a walk in right away and the lady did a great job. Place was nice and clean and sanitized. Massage chair worked out all the kinks in my back.. I did take off a star because she asked me to pay before i even sat down to dry my nails which I thought was odd but maybe they experienced people not paying and running out. Equipment is clean, booking appointments efficient and their technique for soaking off Dip powder is the most effective I've experienced. read more

Gave it another shot after the renovation, and I really like YY's work. Even after it grew out it still looks pretty.

My daughter and her four friends made reservations for manicure pedicures for their prom. When they got there, they were treated badly, with Oscar Nails taking walk ins ahead of them. When their friend who had been waiting was ignored, they decided they were treated so badly they had to leave, with two of them not even getting their nails done after waiting an hour. its's not okay to treat young girls this way, especially when they were responsible enough to to make appointments. I'll never go here again. Shame on you. It's not a good way to treat loyal customers. read more

First time coming here because my old place was overcharging and I got a powder gel mani. Felt confident looked great. About a week later one of my fingers start to bother me and as days went by it became a balloon of infection. Their tools are not cleaned properly I had to go to the doctors twice to keep getting pus removed it's ridiculous. I would rather pay extra at my old place than keep getting infected fingers. My go to nails salon! All the nail techs here are wonderful and they honor appointments which I always recommend making.

I've been going here for the past two months, just because price is reasonable and location is convenient. All the workers are fairly nice and friendly. Today, I had a painful experience. Before I started my pedicure, the lady was removing my powder gel manicure. She used the nail drill to file away before wrapping it in acetone. However, her handling of the nail drill slipped and cut the skin off my ring finger. I bled, as the cut was deep. After the pedicure, she took me to the table to get my manicure. She took the nail drill and tried to file away my ring finger again, and she slipped again!! but she caught herself and quickly turned it off. I told her to just do it next time as it was nerve wracking watching her do it so close to my open wound. I was still expected to pay the full price though I was physically injured. I understand people make mistakes, this was just my experience. read more

They talk bad about their customers as they are doing pedicures next to each other. The women that sits in the chair 2nd to last on the right is RUDE, ignored me, over charged me and stood over me uncomfortably while I was signing credit card and putting the tip amount. IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY getting your nails done then go somewhere else. I paid $62 for an acrylic full set and 28$ for a gel polish toe change and was charged 10$ to take the original gel off toes. I've been going to this place since it was called something else years ago. I love getting my powder gel and pedicure here. The prices have definitely gone up since the pandemic and the work ethic especially the time spent per customer is not enough. I used to love coming here when they actually spend time giving you a pedicure and a massage after that was more than just rubbing their hands on your legs. Now when I come here it feels like I came to get my nails done at a factory place, where you get what you need as quickly as possible and you get spit out like a product. I have used Oscar nails for myself several times and have walked in without an appointment during Covid. I called in advance to see if they were available and the woman on the phone said me that they have appointments. When I sent my 83-year-old mother with her walker they stopped her at the door and said that she had to call in advance and sent her way despite there being several chairs free.
