Alrighty so this place is new to the area so me and my friends had to give it a try cause we love us some Mexican food and it didn't disappoint (other than them forgetting our quesadilla in the order). I love filibertos but this place was like an upgraded version. We will definitely be back soon, especially since it's so close. I had the Arizona burrito and it was delish! A burrito with steak, cheese, pico, and potatoes. My friend had the California burrito and she loved it. We got some nachos to share, which was just as good as the burritos. I can't wait to come back to try the other options. Most places have one time of carne asada fries or nachos but this place had a bunch of different types. I had a hard time deciding because it all sounded good, so I guess I'll have to be back to try the other options. Thanks! I'm glad y'all opened in the area. See ya soon read more

Went to check out the new Oscar's Taco Shop at the Desert Glen Shopping Center in Glendale yesterday. Their new dining room had just opened as the Covid-19 restaurant restrictions here in Arizona began to ease. The place was very clean and well placarded for social distancing. Service was fast and friendly. Had the Chicken Tortas, which were very delicious with lots of guacamole. Will be back to try their breakfast burritos next. read more

I've been coming here since they opened for business and everything was great. Today was my last day! The meat in the burrito and taco was super dried out and it tasted like jerky. Dissatisfied with the business and the manager laughed it off and didn't bother to replace it. This establishment changed. read more

If you knew me personally you'd understand I'm obsessed with this type of food I've stopped by almost every Mexican restaurant on bell road across the entire north valley over the past decade. Believe me, I love burritos en mi corazón This was the best burrito in the city and it's in Glendale, it's blows my mind I really can't believe it was such a fair price for the quantity! I love Oscar's it's my go to place. Always tasty shrimp and carne asada tacos. The place is kept spotless and friendly staff.

First time visiting this place a few weeks ago and we really enjoyed it. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. They do have a lot on the menu so if you get easily overwhelmed I would take a look before you go! Stopped at this taco shop on a wimb driving by, so glad we did! Highly recommended stopping by this place and I will definitely be back. We tried the California burrito, just awesome! We also had a carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas taco. Carne asada was good, not amazing, just normal. However, the carnitas and al pastor were fantastic. The food was great, salads was good, and the staff super friendly. Overall, 5 star place. Suggestion to the owner: make your own Orchata and jamaica drink, not store bought. Just got my first order to go from Oscars. Ordered a carne asada burro for hubby and a combo #5 so I could sample a little bit of everything. Hubby said his burro was ok, he'd had worse and he's have better. I got rice and beans, cheese enchilada and carne taco. Rice no, do not like yellow rice with corn and carrots Beans were a weird consistency to me and I didn't like the taste taste that well. Enchilada might have been good if there was more sauce. Very dry. Carne asada taco, as my hubby said, ok, I've had better. Now I have heard people love this place so I will give it a benefit of a doubt and try it again. read more

I can't say enough about how wonderful this business is. The staff is so pleasant every single time and our food is always awesome!

We tried the fajitas (chicken and shrimp) as well as a fish taco and shrimp taco. It was just ok. The fajitas came with great tortillas, but not much guac, sour cream, or pico. To get more pico costs almost as much as another taco. Too many veggies, not a ton of meat and no cheese. The fish taco was extremely overcooked and dry. Looks like a cornmeal coating. The cabbage and sauce were ok, but didn't add much flavor. The shrimp taco had the same toppings, and the shrimp was average. Not a ton of flavor. The sauce should be the star of a fish taco, but I couldn't taste it much. I would only go back for the tortillas. Everything else was uninspiring and lacking flavor. read more

Stopped at Oscars Tacos on Bell Rd and 53rd Ave today. Instantly impressed. The lady at the counter was so nice and helped with choices. Not only was the food amazing the surroundings were clean. By clean I mean constant wiping down of tables and counters. Even the bathrooms were immaculate. Don't drive by next time, stop in an be good to yourself. I'm a sucker for Mexican food. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now. I'm so glad I did. We got the surf and turf fries and sampled pastor tacos, shredded beef tacos and carne asada tacos. All were very good. The rice was probably the best rice I've had from a taco shop. The absolute worst ground beef taco I have ever had! How bad can a taco be in a restaurant that has taco in its name? 1st of all I couldn't believe how little ground beef was in the taco shell. A little bit fell out of the pocket sale and I scooped it up to eat it and the meat does not taste or feel like real meat. It had a granular and squishy texture. The shells were thin and crispy and good. LOTS of crispy cold lettuce (to make up for missing "meat") and a small amount of shredded cheese. Dont waste your money. read more

Stopped in to grab a family pack and I have to say don't do it. I didn't think I'd ever say "that was a bad taco" but that was a bad taco!! Taco bell gets 5 stars compared to what I just ate from Oscars. I can't speak for the rest of the menu but the ground beef tacos were dry cold and honestly just not edible. Pretty much our go to place for tacos on Tuesday's. Carnitas is usually spot on and both fish and shrimp tacos are on point. Fish and shrimp hot with the cabbage, pico and toppings fresh, cold and crisp. Only draw back is they dont sell beer. A cold one would wash the tacos down perfectly. read more

When you walk in you're not greeted by the girl at the register, in fact you're treated as if you are bothering her. This is our second time here cause the food is good. This will however be our last time. The menu says adding potatoes is .50 but was charged .75 she walked away when I asked and when she walked back told me it more cause it was a breakfast burrito. We were also charged a 3% card fee that we weren't told about. We understand the fee but we should be told. This is the second time we have received terrible service. Was disappointed in the service.. order was 11.56 for 3 rolled tacos, and a taco salad, gave a 15% tip for to go order.. then on top of that they charge a 3% fee to use a debit card, nowhere is this posted.
