Food is delicious but service is very poor. Ambiance is poor. It's hard to communicate with the servers and that makes the whole experience poorer

Came here for a small appetizer, ordered the samosas. Came as 4. They were good but a bit dry, wish they had a sauce on the side to go with it. Service and staff was great. But this dish was so so: wouldn't order again.

I have been wanting to check out this spot for awhile. I love Thai food and this is a great location at the Embarcadero center. We tried a few dishes and enjoyed: Beef wasabi rolls- I like that the beef was the roll. No breading or rice needed. Wasabi had a good little kick. Pad see you: spelling through me off a little but the noodles were delicious. A little more broccoli would have been nice but the flavors were great. Crying tiger steak- beautiful plating and I was impressed by the flavor as well as the portion of the salad. That salad wasn't messing around! The rice was also yummy. Thai-tini: this is not quite the name of the drink I had but it was that iced tea inspired. The drink had good flavors as well as presentation. I'm glad we were able to taste the yummy items here and take a couple pics as well. The ambiance is nice and the perimeter booths are a great seat.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet. Seems a little odd. I've been here four times now. Actually every time I come to SF for work, this is their place to go. Each time the service has been great and the food also tastes good. Usually, we order everything family style so we can try all the items. The papaya salad is my favorite, refreshing and it's got a great kick to it as well. We also always get the Dungeness crab omelette. This one I feel like it's just OK for me. I do like the chunks of crab in it though. The calamari is huge. I'm shocked by the size, and it's always very tasty. We've gotten the Seabass, the smoked duck, usually a tom-tom soup, and a bunch of other items. I can't even remember. Great flavors. We also get the desserts as well. And our favorite is the banana and ice cream as well as the mango sticky rice. You really can't go wrong. I feel like they offer a great variety of Thai food. SYOY!

came here around 7:50pm (they close at 8:30pm) and they were certainly rushing us a bit. food came out fast which was nice though. the decor and plating are very aesthetically pleasing, and there are plenty of large group seatings. the food was just average: - chicken satay ($18): very tender but the sauce was too sweet and sticky, barely any peanut taste - pad thai ($23): also too sweet, lacking depth of flavor - thai tea honey toast ($23): I liked the crispiness at the bottom, it was pretty small though

Came here for HH and it was just fine. The drinks are good but food is pretty mediocre. Calamari was very tough and rubbery, we couldn't finish it. The sauce it was served with was like a honey it was so sticky and didn't compliment the dish. Fries on HH were the best part. The Gyoza was ok but could have used more seasoning. Painkiller and mules were prepared very well. Nice location overlooking ferry building and embarcadero plaza. We were immediately sat outside for HH which was nice. I can't say I'd make it a point to return for the food. Grab some Happy Hour drinks, sit outside on a nice evening and you'll have a nice time.

WORST service I got in Bay Area restaurants! First, the restaurant is SUPER KID-UNFRIENDLY!! They only have 2 plastic high chairs with poor quality and booster with no safety belt. The waitress is passive-aggressive to us, she didn't ask us what type of meat choice we would like, didn't ask about our preferred spicy level, didn't refill water for us during our whole dinner time. I noticed a water bottle on every other table, but we don't have one. The most ridiculous thing is that, when they bring us the check, the first one is without mandatory tip (they require for mandatory tip with party over 5 people, we have 4 adults and one baby). Since I'm very disappointed with her service, i gave her 5% tip out of courtesy. She saw this and deliberately cancelled my transaction and told me the credit card couldn't go through and need to gave me another bill. In the second bill, she charged us 18% mandatory tip! So manipulative and ridiculous! This is cheating! I argued with her that my baby is only 1 year old and didn't order any food, received 0 service and didn't even have a highchair to sit! Over 60% of the dinner time my husband has to take him out to play because there is no high chairs for him! She said, "Well, you have 5 people, you don't treat your baby as a person?" This is so rude! I ended up giving her 0 tip! The waitress should be fired actually for insulating my baby!

Wait I lowkey don't want to write this review because they're going to get soooo busy. I was looking for light appetizers and saw that osha was nearby. Been to the other location years ago and it's always a hit. Was pleasantly surprised when we went on a weekend and it was happy all day Saturday and Sunday. Monday - Friday 5-7 pm happy hour as well. It's so close to the ferry building and very walkable. Ordered the angel wings ($9) , fried calamari ($9) and herbal pork belly. $(12) there's $1.50 oysters too but had so much over the past month so opted out. I did bookmark this place as an oyster options whenever I'm back in the area though. I loved the sauce on the wings and the fried calamari was good. The pork belly was a dry rub type and a bit spicy for me which I didn't prefer but was enjoyable. I just can't handle spicy and I think I just enjoy pork belly in soy or something. So just an opinion, it was good but not my preference. Bathrooms were clean and there's a lot of space for parties/events or big groups. Also the receipt said "elevated Thai brunch served all day" waaah? Maybe I'll try that next time when we're hungrier.

Came here for the first time and i absolutely loved this place. Location is nice with lots of places to visit nearby. Obviously in a busy area of San Francisco so parking, transportation and traffic are a hassle but the views and location are still great. The restaurant itself is clean with a nice ambiance. Cute decor. We were a large party of over 15 people and they were able to accommodate us without a problem. Their food was amazing. Tasty, such great flavors and provided many dishes that were both common to Thai food, and also unique to this restaurant. Everything we ate had great flavor! Understandably the prices matched the quality and location of the restaurant. Staff was really great. Worked hard, stayed in top of our large table. Friendly to say the least. I would recommend this place for almost any occasion, for large groupsnor a simple lunch date. I am looking forward to coming back for more.

Mgr name edit: Jessica to Tasha 5/9/26 Apologies in advance for the lengthy review We were invited for a special milestone birthday event here last night for my SIL. Party of 20 right at dinner opening of 5pm. Reservations were made and all things started off great. We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant opened and as we got closer to 5:00pm, at least a dozen people started waiting outside to enter. We were admitted first to be seated as our reserved table was already set up. Aesthetics inside were thought through with the bar centrally located. Our main server was Miau and she was attentive and delightful from start to finish. We ordered drinks and started off with quite a few appetizer platters for the table. We noticed another server (Tasha) almost immediately that didn't 'ask' us but very aggressively told us (mainly adults) to gather the menu's (before we even ordered entrees) and put it in the center of the table so she can collect them. Once appetizers and drinks were half consumed, Miau came by to take our entree orders while we continued to socialize, mingle and catch up. Beautifully decorated entree plates started flowing and this is when the other assisting server Tasha started bringing dishes out. With music playing in the background and chatter among other tables, we can barely hear her calling out entrees from one end of the table to the other table. I made eye contact and told her we couldn't hear her and she just dropped the dish on the table and walked away. Thankfully it was our nephew's entree close by. Tasha then came by with (2) salmon dishes which one was requested spicy and when we went to clarify with our brother if he ordered spicy, she rolled her eyes dramatically and sighed loudly like we were being rude and inconvenient. We were completely appalled! The restaurant wasn't even packed! There were a few other tables dining but still a few empty tables around. We ended up asking Miau who the other server was since she was rude to us and Miau told us she was the manager. :O Tasha's attitude matches how the women's restroom looks! Honestly all the food from apps, mains tasted all mediocre at best but it does come out presented well. Drinks were good and at going rates of $15/per or so. This establishment is centrally located facing the Ferry building, it has a great location. Parking garage made things simple but they had an event today so all parking was a flat $35! The (2) star rating is for the business overall. I would give (5) stars for Miau (our main server) and for the aesthetics of the restaurant which showcases a modern beautiful restaurant and location is perfect which makes sense for the prices being charged. However, the level of service from the person you have chosen to represent your establishment as the manager (Tasha) ruined this milestone birthday for our beloved sister and family, Unfortunately, as a family of 17 adults and 3 tween/teenagers were extremely disappointed and would not be returning. San Francisco is a known destination with so many restaurant options that we will gladly choose to spend our $1,838.00 (invoice with 20% gratuity) elsewhere and not recommend your establishment.

    Happy Hour
    Nicole P.

Beautiful restaurant with bright colors and a lovely floral decor. It's really spacious and has plenty of seating which was perfect for the lunch rush since it filled up pretty quickly. The menu is extensive and the service was great. Frank was attentive and very helpful. The steak wasabi rolls were a great appetizer and the country chicken had just the right amount of crunch and sweetness. The yellow curry and pineapple fried rice were also good. Now that I know this place is a hit, I'm looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

    Happy hour drinks
    Nina Z.

Amazing happy hour deal! They have happy hour on select drinks and food items Monday thru Friday from 5-7PM and all day Saturday and Sunday. We ended up getting drinks, splitting a happy hour platter, and ordering some drunken noodles from the entree: plenty of food for the three of us! The happy hour platter included oysters, calamari, chicken wings, and fries. Beautiful lush ambiance and we came during the holiday season, so it was all decorated for the holidays. Service was friendly. Conveniently located in Embarcadero. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. They also serve brunch as well!

    Osha's Tom Yum Noodles Soup
    Kaman L.

I haven't been here since the pandemic began. I was glad that I visited Osha Thai recently. The quality of the food and the service were still good. The food that my party ordered were as follows: 1) Starter: Salmon roll (3.5/5) the portion of salmon is decent, the taste is a little bland but feels healthy when I ate it. :) 2) Starter: Angel wings (4.5/5) I love the robust taste plus the crunchiness of the wings. The sauce is perfectly done. I enjoy this dish a lot. 3) Entree: Tom Yum Soup noodle (4.5/5) was tasty with decent portion of shrimp, fish balls, minced pork and noodles. I haven't had Tom Yum soup for a while. Glad that I ordered this dish. 4) Entree: Duck fried noodle (4/5) was good but not as good compared with the Tom Yum soup noodle. I enjoyed the noodle with the sauce. The duck meat portion is good too. Service is good here. The interior decor was pretty. Our seating area was comfortable and away from the crowd that allows my party had a good talk. Only down side was the food here are pricey. But given the food quality and location, I think it worth paying the price. I will come back for sure.

From the moment we sat down, the staff was incredibly attentive, and the food came out remarkably fast, efficient, and piping hot. The quality of the ingredients is top-tier, every single meat option was unbelievably juicy and tender. We did an epic deep-dive into the menu, and every dish hit a home run: Crispy Shroom Yum Yum (with ground pork) The perfect starter. Shatteringly crisp mushrooms tossed with savory ground pork in a vibrant, tangy, and bright dressing that completely wakes up your palate. Spicy Wonton, Silky, delicate wrappers packed with a plump, juicy filling, slicked in a gorgeous chili oil blend that brings a perfect balance of heat and savory depth. Tom Gai Bai Ma Kham, A rare soup to find on SF menus, and they absolutely nail it. The young tamarind leaves give the chicken broth a distinct, refreshing, citrusy sourness that is incredibly comforting. Khao Soi, Pure comfort in a bowl. A deeply aromatic, rich, and velvety coconut curry broth layered with tender noodles and topped with the signature nest of crispy noodles for the perfect texture clash. Khao Pad Kaprow Mun Nuer & Khao Pad Mun Nuer (with Soy Cured Egg Yolk), These beef fat fried rice dishes are game-changers. The richness of the beef fat coats every grain of rice. The Kaprow version brings that fiery holy basil punch, while the version with the rich, velvety soy-cured egg yolk creates a luxurious, umami-bomb flavor explosion when broken open. Pad Thai Bolan, This is traditional Pad Thai done right. It's beautifully tangy from real tamarind, perfectly balanced with sweet and savory notes, and packed with authentic, old-school depth. Khao Pad Na Ped & Pork Pad See Ew, The duck fried rice is beautifully seasoned and topped with succulent duck, while the Pad See Ew features perfectly chewy flat rice noodles kissed with a smoky breath-of-the-wok (wok hei) and a rich, sweet soy glaze. Pu Nim Pad Pong Karee, A spectacular soft-shell crab dish. The crab is fried to a perfect crunch, bathed in a silky, fragrant, and mildly sweet yellow curry egg sauce that is utterly addictive. Gaeng Kamin Ped (Duck Breast Turmeric Curry), A true standout. The duck breast is beautifully tender, swimming in a vibrant, earthy, and richly spiced turmeric curry that has incredible depth. Burnt Butter Kaya Toast with Coconut Ice Cream, The ultimate finale. Thick, warm, crispy toast dripping with rich burnt butter and sweet, fragrant kaya jam, cut perfectly by the clean, creamy refreshment of coconut ice cream. The meat is consistently juicy, the textures are immaculate, and the experience is flawless. Khao Tiew is easily one of the best Thai spots in the city. It is worth every single penny!

Every bite and sip was delicious. We ordered family style and shared everything. Fresh rolls - crisp and springy with lots of greens and tofu and a good peanut sauce to dip. Crispy pork belly sweet basil - the CRISP and flavor of this pork belly was to die for. Chicken larb - this was my favorite dish of the night. Heavy basil/herbs, just a little kick from the chilies, full on flavor explosion. I will be thinking of this dish for a long time haha. Beef Pad See Ew - chewy in the most delicious and favor packed way. Love pad see ew and this one was great! Pad cha scallop - Came out sizzling on a cast iron! This dish was fun and the scallops while small, were fresh and had lots of flavor. And finally, for dessert we ordered the black rice durian. It was all three of us' first time trying Durian and we loved it! Creamy and a little funky but the black rice and sauce emphasized its natural sweetness. The interior is well decorated with Thai culture and with the darker tones of the design, it makes the restaurant feel quite fancy. 4.5/5 - Crispy Pork (Moo Krop) Fried Rice - Very savory fried rice dish. Spiced well and very filling. We didn't expect the pork to be cut so large and mixed into the rice, but it was very tender and easy to still eat. We would've expected the pork to be sliced maybe in half or fourths to make the dish feel like a "pork fried rice" than a fried rice + pork mix, but it still worked well and if you love pork, this will definitely be your fix! 5/5 - Pad Thai - We thought the restaurant nailed this classic noodle dish. Filling portions and did not overcook their noodles. You can taste each component of the dish, which speaks to everything not being under or overcooked. We ordered nuts on the side but you would be quite satisfied ordering this if you like pad thai! 4.5/5 - Pad Gra Prow - Appropriate veggie to beef proportion and very flavorful. Minced well and great to complement with your carb dishes (noodle or rice). We thought the dish was slightly oily but it feels well absorbed when eaten with our pad thai.
