Famous for their chicken bacon ranch slice. Other slices and food options are solid too. Would recommend!

Whenever my family had dinner in Ossining, we would often come here. I've always thought that the service was friendly and the food was great. Whether you order spaghetti and meatball or a sandwich from here - you will not be disappointed. I also recommend their gelato. It's not only delicious but it tastes authentic as well. Very "hit or miss"! I like their Chicken Shiitake pizza and we order it every Friday. BUT, it varies from practically bald, to overfilled with hot sauce and nothing else. It's like they change chef every week. I think the Best Of award they got went to their head. Also, never pickup, the owner is a cranky old bastard. And he short changes me every time I go there. Inconsistent quality. I've been coming to Ossining pizza for 5 years. But today was the last time. When you spend close to $30.00 for a specialty pizza is it so hard to include all the ingredients! The pizza was dry and flavorless. Several times they didn't get the order right. When I call to tell them they expect me to get back in my car and come over to them. I feel so sad to write a bad review about Ossining Pizza because my fiance and I have been regulars for years, but after today we won't be going anymore. My fiance's plate was "ok" compare to the other times he had order it (it seems like the quality of the ingredients have been lowered) and my fettuccine alfredo was beyond dissapointing. When I asked to change the meal I was given the worse of attitudes by the owner. We had recommended this place several times and It feels like they are almost doing you a favor by taking your money. Well we used to love this place! The gnocchi bolognese is amazing. However, one night we ordered for delivery, they said it would arrive it 40 minutes and it never came. We called again and again but no one ever picked up. It is a shame because we had been customers for 12 years. read more

My dad has been taking us here since we were kids. It used to be one of our favorites. Over the years they have definitely gone down hill. The food is still pretty good but not as good as it used to be. The service has suffered greatly as well. Last time we came here I ordered a salad to start and then a soup for my meal. I specifically asked that my soup be brought out with the rest of everyone's dinner and it was brought out before we even got the bread. In my opinion that is one of the most frustrating things a server can do. I didn't get my salad until the rest of my family was almost already done with their meals. so I just basically sat there awkwardly while they ate their meals and then had to rush eating my salad because it was brought out so late. It might not seem like a big deal but I think these issues could have been avoided with a little common sense. read more

There better choices for pizza in Ossining for the following reasons: The crew behind the counter have an attitude that they're doing me a favor. I don't feel like a customer, more like an annoyance. I don't order from Capri when they're not on-line because every phone order tends to be wrong. So I will go to D'Italia or Ossining. Their Sicilian is good, regular cheese is okay, margerita is good. Their ravioli sauce is not as good as Capri but they give you more. Also they give you real bread...good bread...not like those triangle things at Capri. I think they're decent. These 5 stars are for the tiramisu at Ossining Pizzeria and Restaurant. I go to their coffee shop and get tiramisu for myself, and for dinners and parties. I can also order it, depending on how much I want. The texture and moisture is just right. The flavor of the coffee and the density of each serving is perfect. This tiramisu is a prize-winner. Yesterday, I went there to take out lunch-The guy at the counter recommended the meat lovers pizza which I bought 1 slice of and was good- On the specials of the day menu was sausage and peppers wedge which I ordered. After waiting almost 35 min my order finally came out- The guy apologized for the wait and gave me a bottle of coke. He also opened the sub to look at it- -That probably should have told me something- When I got home and started to eat it it definitely didn't taste right. Almost immediately, after I finished it I got so sick!! I've been there at least twice for takeout pizza (2005, 2007). Of the seven pizza places in the Ossining/Briarcliff area I've used more than once, these guys are the only ones I actively avoid. The pizzas themselves were fine, but the service at the counter was poor at least twice. The person working the register was unfriendly and somewhat rude. I've not seen this at any of the other pizza places in the area. Some (at least three) of the pizza places in the area can be downright friendly. read more

Yes, the gelato is super; but this place has long been a favorite gathering place for lots of Ossining folks, as it has sit-down full-menu service as well as standard pizza-place eat-quickly tables. And it has umpteen varieties of pizza, all quite good. Not the best, mind you, but good reliable food. Be forewarned, the prices are not cheap, but the portions are large. read more

Been ordering pizza's from here for over 20 years, and have recently seen the quality completely deteriorate. Ordered two pizza's tonight and two large salads, and they barely put any sauce and cheese on the pizza. On several slices, the crust went about a third in from the exterior edge . . . . almost as much crust as actual pizza. Very very disappointed. read more

Best sicilian pizza I've ever had. Ate outside near the parking lot. Staff was very accommodating and service was excellent.

The pizza place is delicious with great pizza and you can order delicious Italian meals. But their pizza Is fantastic because it has a great tomato sauce and a very soft and fluffy crust. My group has been going to Ossining Pizza for over 13yrs, the issue with this place is the owner he is rude not only to the customers he is rude to the staff. We order lunch at least once or twice a week and was told that when we order to make sure we advise that the order are separate, on this one order we spoke with son who in error put the order in wrong and when we went to pick it up Jerry the owner went off like a mad man saying that we did not call it in separate. We called back the next day and spoke with the son who advised that it was his fault and he apologized and stated that this was not the first time there has been and issue with Jerry not being able to control himself. This is my issue I know that the customer is not always right but in this situation we were right and his bad reaction left a bad taste in my mouth, this guy should not be the face of this restaurant it should be someone who can control his anger. read more
