Very expensive , terrible gluten-free pizza!
    Nancy R.

We just had the smallest, worst; yet most expensive pizza we ever had! We ordered a gluten-free crust with some toppings and it was smaller that a med pie for $27! They should be ashamed of themselves! It looks like they used a frozen or premade gluten-free crust, and then skimped on the toppings! I don't think I'll ever go back here even for regular pizza! We are so disappointed!

Italian sub. Skimpy on the meat.
    Erica K.

Disappointed in the Italian sub and wrap. Expensive and not enough meat. They didn't put the mustard on the wrap which made for a bit of a mess unwrapping it to add it. There are much better subs and wraps at nearby delis.

Famous for their chicken bacon ranch slice. Other slices and food options are solid too. Would recommend!

Really nice wait staff. Ordered the meatball sandwich and it was tasty enough. A good place to have a nice, casual meal with a friend.

Best sicilian pizza I've ever had. Ate outside near the parking lot. Staff was very accommodating and service was excellent.

Fast and friendly. Good food at fair prices. Not a bad place to get a slice or two. Centrally located. Standard hours.

The dishes that this team puts together in that kitchen are absolutely magical and filled with flavor. I discovered them a few years ago when I had a craving for fresh homemade pasta. The pasta is made fresh daily and also sold by the pound for take home meals. I don't get the pleasure of dining in often because it's always packed when I visit but this time there was a lonely table waiting for me. The restaurant is small and intimate. Casual but perfect for a date night or solo dining. In the summertime they have picnic tables outside to dine at as well. The focaccia bread is made in house daily and is served warm with a drizzle of good olive oil and flakey salt. Don't ever skip out on the bread!! The cucumber salad was inspiring. The cucumbers were served on a bed of hazelnut fava bean hummus??? Excuse me? My mouth is still watering from looking at the photos. It was so fresh and tangy. The pasta dish was warm, filling and cozy. It settled in all the right places and makes you feel warm and fuzzy. The chocolate chip cookies are also a must!! I'm not sure if they use cake flour or something because the cookies are crunchy on the edges but think and chewy once warmed up. They are not skimping on the chocolate inside either! Overall my meal was perfect, I cannot wait to dine here again to taste the love and magic that goes into each dish. PS- the menu is mostly seasonal so try what you can before the menu changes!

This small and incredible pasta shop serves up delicious home made and hand made pasta dishes that rotate seasonally from their simple yet powerful menu. When you eat a bowl of pasta at DPNB you eat a bowl of love. Not only do they make everything themselves but they also source locally from local farmers and support so many other great local businesses. I love this pasta shop so much and can't wait to be back in Nyack to enjoy another one of their incredible pasta dishes. Be sure to try their piccolo negroni (absolutely incredible!) or if you're feeling something more light go for the not a spritz, you will not regret hehe. First come first serve, no reservations, 14 quaint seats, come with a small group or just on a date :)

The sun-dried tomato ricotta ravioli were both "piquant" and "bangin."…read more The ravioli were rolled out, cut, filled, and sealed right in front of me. The pillowy little pockets didn't even need sauce (I ate one plain like a toddler). Nothing against the sauce: it's a celebration of the tomato, bright and smooth. I also got to watch the master (Bivona) at work. It was like what I imagine witnessing the efforts of a Renaissance sculptor to be like. It was also fun and educational watching him guide customers and give them a tour of the day's pasta shapes. For me, one of the best marks of quality is when you can look at the pasta and see the texture. You know that means your sauce is going to cover all that surface area, that will adhere brilliantly to your noods. The Cannookie (chocolate chip cookies sandwiching cannoli cream) was way more delicious than it had any right to be. I'm not going to ever have one again on principle because it sounds like a racial slur for Canadians, but that doesn't change the fact that it was outstanding. The meatballs, were all beef, I think, so it's pretty impressive how light and tender they were--beefy too.
