I think this may be the best pizza on the island! The beachside location at the Marriott is relaxing, casual and picturesque. And their instructions to "Order, Pay and Find a Table" are simple enough. The menu offers awesome pizza options that are enough for 2-4 people, but they also have fun appetizers like the Roasted Meatballs which we all loved! And they have some pasta options for dinner, too. We really enjoyed the Margharita and Pepperoni pizzas. And though it's not a full service restaurant since you pick your own table and get your own drinks, they turned over the tables very quickly between customers and brought over silverware. The prices are high for pizza and pasta, but they're very reasonable for the Marriott. read more

I thought the food was pretty decent, but definitely not the reason to eat here. I'd recommend coming for sunset because it's beautiful. I'm sure many of the restaurants at this hotel have a nice view. Being right on the beach, however, is what makes this place great. I had the calamari, meatballs and a couple different pizzas to try. Calamari is hard to mess up and that was something I'd order again. I would probably skip the meatballs because they were a little over cooked and nothing special. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. Service was adequate. We ordered the Caprese salad which was fresh and delicious and the gluten free cauliflower crust Margarita pizza. This pizza was absolutely delicious! The crust was the best tasting cauliflower crust pizza I've ever tried because it didn't taste like cauliflower at all and it was crunchy! They filled the top of the pizza with plenty of cheese and the tomatoes and basil were fresh! The service was very good and the place was nice and clean. There were grilled or charred artichokes on the pizza that were magnificent! We recently ate at this restaurant at the JW Marriott. They have gluten free options for both pastas as well as pizzas. We had the build your pizza 16 inch with grilled vegetables and pepperoni. The actual dough for the gluten-free pizza is not scratch made in-houses, but is from a dough from an outside vendor. We found the pizza to be quite tasty and I even found it almost equivalent to my regular pizzas. The grilled vegetables had a nice charred taste to them and the dough was light and flaky and very tasty. Definitely would recommend this to anyone who is gluten-free. When eating at this establishment, you order and pay upfront and then you seat yourself. We found that all associates and the manager were quite friendly and accommodating. But the most recent time we came here we realized that the menu has changed and our favorite entrees were gone, despite our disappointment, we stayed and ordered the thing crust pizza. When our pizza came we realized that there were barely any toppings(we got the green pepper). Also there was no sauce, just a thin layer of cheese. Another disappointment the drinks, we paid for flavored water and when we got to the drink machine we saw that they had the flavor drops(which we tried and were horrible). My boyfriend and I ate there because it had a vegan option for him and I was craving pizza for days. The bonus of the location was that it had a really nice view of the sunset. I ordered a standard Margherita Pizza and you can't usually go wrong with that. It was highly prices (I guess it's what you expect from a hotel restaurant and a Marco Island restaurant at that). The pizza was just bland. For the price, I just expect more. The staff there was really nice though and the sunset was pretty spectacular. Located in the Marriott resort on the beach side. The Restaurant is an assortment of italian. We were looking for a late dinner and they said they close at 9pm. I ordered the cheesy pull apart, mushroom pizza, and spinach fennel salad, and a veggie panini. The pull apart was basically like a cheese stuffed bread with tons of butter and garlic.....pretty damn good. The mushroom pizza was good but tasted a tad oily. The crust was crispy with good flavor. The spinach fennel salad was excellent with candied pecans. Veggie Panini is more of a grilled pita bread with some fat grilled vegs.....definitely wouldn't order it again. Overall a good spot for takeout if you are staying in the hotel. It has multiple vegetarian options for the non-carnivores. The bill for 4 items was about $55. read more

If you're reading this and trying to decide what to order, ditch the pizza. I think it's poorly rated because pizza really isn't the best. But the other menu items are real standouts. Out of the 9 days I stayed at the resort I ate here 4 times. Half for lunch and half for dinner. First dinner we had pizza. Which we didn't really care for, but it got the job done. Plus we had a group of 5 adults and 2 kids so it was the most economical option. The second time we visited was for lunch. We decided to give pizza a try again with more toppings which was also not amazing but better. I also ordered the calamari which was really good! It tasted pretty fresh. (If it wasn't, you fooled me!) The kiddos wanted soup but not minestrone and the chef offered to use the broth and add fresh pasta and chicken for them which was a great suggestion which we all loved! The next day we went for lunch again and had some sandwiches. I had the chicken Parmesan I think and it was delicious. I shared it and got the minestrone on the side which was also good. Our last night for dinner we returned since we'd had such great food, service, and decent pricing. I got the skirt steak sandwich was DELICIOUS. Also had a cup of the cream of mushroom which was okay, could have been creamier. And Caesar salad- generic Caesar. As we were eating our dinner third day in a row, a woman from the restaurant came to thank us for being loyal to Pazzis and offered us free ice cream!! It was so kind. The kids were ecstatic. Plus they brought us toppings of sprinkles, gummy bears, m&ms and Oreos. I can't believe how few people eat here. It was always empty and Quinn's seemed to be more popular but this place offered way fresher foods and was much more worth your buck. Too bad it's not open on week nights after summer. Very disappointing. We came over from the pool around 1:30, with 4 hungry young children. The food took over an hour to arrive despite multiple complaints. We saw table after table arrive, order, eat and leave, and nothing for our table. Once the food arrived it was pretty good, but we were so upset by that point that it didn't matter.
