This review is strictly for the breakfast experience. This small restaurant is located in the new section of the terminal B, close to the gate 46. The restaurant has look and feel of a standard watery located anywhere on the streets and not inside of the airport. Selection of breakfast items is rather limited. I had two eggs any style (scrambled) which comes with a side of bacon, potato hash and a toast. The eggs were nicely cooked. Bacon was excellent, crispy but not over, and served in a generous amount. Potato hash was a bit strange, served as a scoop - I would much prefer "home fries" or similar. Good coffee with free refill. Nice, friendly and attentive service. Expect airport food prices but a good stop in the a.m. The Deets: I've recently got to use the new updated portion of LGA Terminal B in my last few trips back home to RDU, and it's very nice indeed. Getting there in time for a very early morning meal, I have gone over to Osteria Fusco for some breakfast as I wait. My experiences at Fusco are early morning breakfast trips only. Fusco is nice, clean, inviting. Each time I have sat at the bar but there is plenty of seating available. They have a limited but good breakfast menu available such as eggs any style, smoked salmon, etc. I've gone with the eggs plate scrambled well (includes bacon, scattered style thin hash brown potatoes, and toast) and it was a good breakfast meal for an airport experience, quite good actually. But what set them apart for me was the very pleasant and attentive service I have received, especially this past time. Lots of smiles, polite and attentive service that is really impressive for an airport restaurant/eatery. I enjoyed my meal and the positive service interaction, both! A winner at Terminal B at LaGuardia. Ambience, food, service, everything was impeccable. Burrata melts in your mouth, Little Gem Salad is fresh with a light balsamic, salmon is cooked crisp on the outside, moist and tender on the insides--flakes as it should--and the pasta tops anything you'd imagine getting in the city, let alone an airport. We got the Fusili (sans fennel sausage) and the Pomodoro--first I taste really good olive oil, and second I savor the delicate pasta that I can tell is made in house that day. Went here to check out the burger--I thought I might as well since it's Scott Conant's new spot in the LGA remodel. The woman working the cash register was super friendly and the burger came out in about 15 minutes--which wasn't too bad. I rate this five star for airport food. I had the Paccheri pasta. the chefs meat ragu. It was hearty and tasty. The Sangiovese blend and it was quite nice. All in all, very nice. Nite to management: it would be nice to know the wine prices. Our Sangiovese was $21 a glass. !!! read more

Please put prices on your menu so that my first impression isn't annoyance... both for me having to ask what everything costs & my poor bartender having to go look up everything I want a price on. The White Cloud was delicious- I decided on it instead. Food was cold when it came out. We were served after another couple who came after us. Drinks were never refilled. I get it, it's an airport joint, but if you're charging that much for food, at least bring it out warm and refill beverages. I told them the food was cold (not just luke warm, but seriously chilly, they took it back and brought out another plate in like another 15-30 mins. Listen, I've never tasted dog food, but I imagine if I did, it would have tasted like the meatballs they brought out. We sat here with empty drinks for what felt like forever. The server is rarely around so it took another 15 mins just to get the freaking check. We finally just gave her the card to run before getting the check. Never again. Skip this place. I waited in line for ~45 minutes to eat here, since -- per usual -- every flight at LGA was delayed and no one was giving up their prime bar real estate at any of the restaurants in Terminal B. I am in shock and disbelief to report back positively about an airport meal, but the dining experience was worth the wait. The fusilli was better than most pasta dishes I've had in my neighborhood. I ordered two glasses of wine, which basically came out to the equivalent of a full bottle. 10/10 for hospitality. Unfortunately due to the wine portions, I left my coat at the table and didn't realize until I was 30,000 feet in the air. I returned to the restaurant 48 hours later to ask if they had a lost and found, and they REUNITED ME WITH MY COAT. 12/10 would get wine drunk and eat fusilli and lose my coat here again! read more

The staff will ask you to allow THEM to take your luggage and place them unattended at the far corner in the restaurant near the kitchen so they can overs seat their restaurant at the expense of safety. Beyond impressed with Osteria Fusco as an airport restaurant! In comparison to the fast food chains in Terminal B, this Italian gem is a cuisine experience. Although the restaurant is really small, the pastas (the pasta pomodoro and meat ragú pasta) are really excellent. I've eaten there once and just did takeout with Sheila, who is a gem and offered fabulous customer service. She made sure we were happy with our pasta and even ensured my lactose intolerant boyfriend's pasta was made without cheese! Only complaint is the prices - classic for an airport - about $18-22/dish, but the portion sizes (especially for takeout) are so small! I wish the dining area or bar were larger too, but it's probably due to lack of kitchen space. Wish people wouldn't sit at the bar for hours with their laptop so we could actually eat at the restaurant! But great service - always love flying out of Terminal B! read more

Seemed like a great option for lunch and I was early for my flight. They wanted to seat me at a counter spot facing the people walking by but since I had work to do asked for a table. Was told that the only table was a four top table and they wouldn't seat me by myself at a four top table. So I left. Say at the gate and watched the place. No one was ever sat at he four top table. They are overwhelmed and likely over worked so they cant execute basic things like dressing on the side or even a simple salad. Its super sad. The staff wants to please - they have good intentions which i can see - but the execution is terrible. I have no idea what happens in that kitchen and then the wait staff is too busy with 34 covers that they cant keep track. Scott - please make it better so we can actually enjoy eating here. I just happened upon Fusco Osteria in the LaGuardia airport. I did not realize Scott had restaurants in such places. As soon as I saw Burrata on an airport menu I knew it was special!. The meal was delicious! The restaurant was spotless. The waiters and waitresses were informative , well groomed and eager to share Scott's vision. They explained that the name of the restaurant is Scott's grandmother's middle name. They told us he comes to the restaurant several times a year and has every dish to assure quality. The nicest compliment was that Scott is down to earth easy to talk with. If I had to make one criticism the coffee was not hot and could have been a bit more flavorful. The experience was excellent. Worst....Bloody....Ever... Conveniently located and plenty of room at the bar, most likely because the drinks are so bad... I wish I took a picture, it was comical...The description was very generous detailing all the delicious garnish of the hand shook cocktail. For a $15 bloody Mary I would expect it to be in a pint glass or something similar with the aforementioned garnish, but they came in a rocks glass with a lone lemon wedge. For such a small place you'd think the servers would be able to fill your water at least once while you are sitting there or at least come ask how the food is. Had lunch in this pleasant, comfortable setting 2 weeks ago. Reluctant as I am allergic to garlic I walked to the bar for a conversation with a warm, smiling, had all the answers w/o having to ask or read the menu. That was Elijah who made ALL the difference and deserves to have his salary doubled as he did everything. Always upbeat and smiling as well. I had pasta with chicken that was very good and my husband enjoyed a salad with shrimp. Both dishes were accommodated to resolve the garlic issue. Server Siba was warm, smiling, professional, efficient. Staff makes the experience! I did order 2 glasses of "champagne", not Prosecco. $25 each but it was Chandon from CA not from France. Love this place. Was flying out to Toronto, and decided to get a bite to eat and let me tell you. The customer service is amazing the food beyond Amazing the drinks, well what I can say, we all can get a drink before a flight. Overall I felt at home, it's very rare that you will get great food in the airport, this restaurant is definitely 5 stars, very impressed. And the staff very professional. Had a cocktail with meatballs, pesto and garlic sauce. Meatballs well below Trader Joe's frozen meatball quality (certainly saltier). Garlic bread was a sandwich roll. No price on cocktail/ wine menu meant I did not ask, but the table next to me did and was scorned for asking about the $20 per glass wine price.
