Osteria was definitely a nice surprise. Venue is cozy and nicely decorated, feels like an authentic trattoria in Italy. Service was outstanding, Angelo the manager absolutely charming and our waiter Francesco very attentive and checked on us throughout our meal. Big thumbs up to the food, absolutely the highlight of the night. The squid ink Linguine with Sicilian red prawns was to die for. Chef Gianluca was able to recreate the true Italian flavors you can only expect when dining in Italy. Prices are moderate and not over-the-top "miami style". As an Italian living abroad I'm delighted I found this little gem with true Italian cuisine. The menu is fun and full of interesting items, finally something different than the usual dishes found at every single Italian venue in town. I went for dinner last week and honestly it was one of the best dining experiences that I've had in my 12 years of living here in Miami. Our server, Salvatore, was FANTASTIC and gave the best hospitality, and Angelino, the manager, was so pleasant! They treated us like family. Salvatore's was extremely attentive and I'll make sure to ask for him every time I come back. The wine he suggested was PERFECT for dinner. We had the Guazzetto di Cozze (Sauteed mussels), Antipasto dell'Osteria with the coccoli fritti (AMAZING), and the cacio e pepe with truffle. Can't miss this place!!!!!! Food was EXTRAORDINARY and service was SUPERB!!!!!!!!! We were greeted by the nicest hostess. Then she let us chose our table outside and made sure we were comfortable enough. The terrace is a really nice place to enjoy dinner. The owner showed up to make sure that we were ok. He's something else :) We ordered the miami spice menu which was spectacular and very generous portions !!!! Appetizers: Eggplant parmigiana, Calamari (they ran out of eggplant and offered Vittelo Tonnato which was incredibly good). Then beef medallions with potatoes, branzino. And then for the grand finale we ordered one of each of the desserts. Can't tell you which one was better because all of them were sooo delicious: tiramisu, apple crumble and sbriciolata . But the tiramisu was to die for!!!! The owner himself came to prepare it at the table. So fresh, so creamy, not supersweet,....yummm!! They also sent as as a courtesy a Panna Cotta with mixed berries sauce: best that we've tried..... They definitely went the extra mile to offer the best service. The vitelo carpaccio probably the best appetizer and the deserts ......amazing,we taste them all and it is hart to choose for the winner. We had an amazing time on a Saturday night. The place is new and has been remodeled in a beautiful way. Outside seating was perfect. The food is on another level. Everything we orders was top notch and with amazing flavors. They had a special appetizer with a mozzarella ball stuffed with baby mozzarella and stracciatella, with salami and prosciutto. Perfect Local Hidden Gem for authentic Italian cuisine. If my friends wouldn't bring me tonight I don't think I would find it. One of those "destination restaurants", when you know specifically you going to dine there, since not much is around. And Miami need more places like that. First of, super cozy, warm, welcoming and interior makes you feel like you are enjoying local piazza in Europe. Service is excellent, above and beyond, manager or the owner (don't know) made it very personal and so well balanced with other server help. Got introduced to menu, specials and wine right away. Water service within seconds. Timing and coursing narrowed down perfectly, no waiting and no rushing. Table side for prosciutto slicing/specials/pasta/dessert. Great wine suggestions and pairing. We tried (I don't remember exact names): burrata with stuffed stracciatella and charcuterie, fried calamari, meatballs, cacio with shaved truffle pasta, tiramisu. All meals were delicious and good presentation. Servers always made sure table is set properly for each course. Every dish has been fresh, tasty, and you can tell they use high quality ingredients since menu is pretty simple, but all tastes amazing. I wish this new restaurant success since they truly deserve it. Perfect for a date, friends get together or family celebrations. No "south beach crowd", which is what every local want. The food, service, and ambiance are fine but they need to do something about the valet parking because they hassle you for an extra tip. The restaurant charges $5 and and I gave the attendant a $10.00 bill. He kept the change, and when I complained he asked me how much tip I was going to give him. My boyfriend and I stopped at this establishment while passing by. The outside decor is beautiful with lots of flowers. There is valet parking available. The restaurant is cozy and inviting and we received prompt service by a special waiter who spoke Italian, named Christian. He was amazing! What a disappointing dinner tonight! I was excited to revisit this place after the change in name/management. How all these positive reviews is beyond me. The only saving grace was that manager was sympathetic and removed two dishes from our bill. We ordered mussel's (ok), the pasta special stuffed with seafood (cold and boring), Dover sole (cold and tasteless to the point that the butter had started to turn solid), broccoli (cold and swimming in olive oil) and a mixed greens salad with not a drop of dressing. A deconstructed Tiramisu was complimentary, but I prefer a traditional one where the lady fingers have soaked as opposed to being crunchy. Sorry Osteria but I won't be back. read more

I want to do this review because the situation with restaurants in Miami is already intolerable. We went with a group of friends to this restaurant on 05/18/23. The attention is normal to regular, it's not a fancy restaurant, it's like a trattoria, the food was not bad but there are better restaurants, but my indignation comes from the scandalous prices of this restaurant, I ordered the Cotoletta alla Milanese, it was good but they charged me $60 for a Milanese and the portion was normal to small, my wife ordered the Polpo Arrosticciato in insalata, it was a salad with octopus, the portion was small and they charged us $38 for a salad, we also ordered a focaccia with stracciatella and cerrano ham, it cost $48 I almost had a heart attack, in addition to this you have to pay extra for the sides plus drinks. I definitely don't think I'm going back to this restaurant because I feel like I'm being robbed and there are better options that are more reasonable and of better quality. Unfortunately, we are the ones to blame for restaurants charging what they want and on top of that, you have to pay them the charge for service that every time is higher. In short, I cannot recommend it. read more

This place is absolutely amazing and the food is such great quality. The taste is super authentic. My husband and I went last night for dinner I had the Cacio e Pepe and he had the linguine fruitti de mare, so delicious and the Cacio e Pepe is served tableside in a wheel of cheese with fresh truffles shaved on top, and they were super generous with the truffles most places only give you two or three slices. We ordered a bottle of wine and had dessert I got the tiramisu that was also served tableside- Best tiramisu I ever had. Such a great place the staff is super attentive. You don't even have to ask for a refill whether it's the bottle of wine that you ordered or water they constantly come by to refill your glass. absolutely amazing even today the next day we can't stop talking about how great this place was. read more
