This place was AMAZING!! Right when you walk in, you can feel the Italian vibes and the owner greets you with wine/prosecco. The ravioli, cheese wheel pasta, appetizers, lamb chops--absolutely everything had fantastic flavor. The owner and waiter kept checking in on our table and this was the case for every table. We tried at least 10 different things from the menu (pictures below) and everything was amazing. Owner was raised in Italy and takes pride in bringing the Italian vibe and hospitality to this restaurant! You need to eat here for an authentic Italian night out. read more

Went on a Wednesday night for my husbands birthday. The restaurant is rustic looking with a nice outdoor area that actually feels like you're inside. I really liked the whole ambiance. The place was very empty, only about two tables were occupied but I didn't make much of it. We ordered a nice bottle of Amarone and some appetizers which were good, the grilled octopus with the chickpea purée was super refreshing and tender. The meatballs were a bit dry, the sauce was laid out underneath them. The cacio e pepe, mezzo rigatoni and spaghetti alle vongole were all good. Both the cacio and spaghetti are served tableside. The main dishes were kind of a miss. The cotoletta and braised short ribs were both in need of salt. The NY strip was not cooked to the requested term but it tasted ok. The manager or owner not sure who he was seemed to be trying too hard to speak italian to make everything seem more authentic. The wait staff and others didn't seem to be too happy to be working there to be honest. Our waitress, Barbara I believe was her name was very nice. Not a place I would go back to with so many Italian restaurants around. Don't know why the reviews are so positive. read more

Had New Years dinner at Osteria with our son daughter in law and grandson and as always everything was wonderful. They had live music and it was very busy but very well organized. Our waitress was Barbara and she was wonderful she was knowledgeable about the menu and asked all the right questions. The ambiance was festive and everything ran beautifully. Our food as always was wonderful everyone had something different and the Chef Fabrizio even made great accommodations for my grandson's meal. This time I did take a picture of my pasta dish it's as tasty as it is pretty. If you have not tried Osteria you need to do yourself a favor and add it to your restaurant bucket list for 2024. read more

My boyfriend and I just moved into the neighborhood and have been curious to try this place out. We decided to check it out for our six month anniversary. It was so pleasant! We enjoyed the veal appetizer, Prosecco, a tagliatelle shallot special, ossobuco, nebbiolo, and tiramisu. The portions were great, everything was tasty, and overall a lovey experience. My friend and I were going to a complete different restaurant when we drove by this place. The restaurant we were going to ended up to be closed so turned around and decided to give this place a shot. We weren't disappointed! Parking is street or valet. We got lucky with street parking so not sure of the Valet price. The inside is decorated so warm and nice. We didn't have reservations so got seated outside, which was really cute as well, unfortunately you have the noise of the street even though you don't see it. So definitely making a reservation next time. Menu is small but perfect in my opinion. We had an idea of what we wanted but heard the specials of the night and confused us because we wanted it all! We had the zucchini florets special, delicious! I had the fig ravioli with Gorgonzola and prosciutto. So many flavors! Delicious! Definitely going back and taking more friends! read more

We went with a party of 15. We had a section to ourselves which was nice. The food was good. It all tasted great. The only problem was that the food all came at different times. There were some people completely finished with their meals and others that their food hadn't even been brought. They had no organization with that portion. When it was time to pay, they could not separate the bill. Not even into little parties so that it would be easier and faster. That part took very long. Once we were all done, the valet was also a problem. There was no organization outside. There were cars being brought and the owners were not even there or not paying attention. Osteria is a hidden gem in Miami. The restaurant is much larger inside than it appears from the street-- there are at least 3 large rooms. The decor transported me back to Tuscany, which is where the manager is from. Service was friendly and helped us decide what to order. The fig ravioli is not to be missed-- I was with the Gorgonzola sauce perfectly complementing the sweet and textured fig. The eggplant parm was large and the best I've ever had--suuuuper cheesy in the best way. The gnocchi was great too, but next time I'd try the cacio e pepe which came served from a huge cheese wheel and smelled delectable from other people's tables. Their wine selection was well curated and well priced. I highly recommend and will return many times. read more

After passing by Osteria on my way to work, I finally decided to give it a try. It was a Friday night and we made a reservation prior, the parking situation is not ideal since there is limited street parking and parking in front of the restaurant... but there is valet which is $5 so it's not so bad. Let's just say that the moment you enter, we were treated with a friendly smile from the front desk. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the lighting is dim, intimate and perfect for date night. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Now let's talk about the service, which I have to mention is exceptional. The waiter and staff were always attentive and made sure that we were always taken care of. As for the food, I already had my eye on the cheese wheel pasta that passed by us to other tables so I was already set on what I was going to order. Also, who isn't a sucker for a good cheese wheel? Talk about dinner and a show! The pasta came with truffle shavings which gave a strong, rich taste... let's just say it's still memorable to this day and I just want to come back and try other menu items! I asked one of my friends to pick out a fancy restaurant in Miami to go to for my birthday and she found this one. She's kind of amazing for that because the place was really incredible. The venue has a really beautiful atmosphere with gentle lighting and good acoustics. It most definitely felt like an upscale fancy restaurant, but the people working it are also very hospitable! I arrived without a reservation because, like I said, I asked my friend to pick out a spot for me to go because I was coming up blank on locations. So we went up to the counter to ask for a table and while we were waiting the man addressing us poured us all a glass of Prosecco! And I just thought that was so cool and sweet... The food is flavorful and the flavor profiles are deep. Just felt like I was really chowing down on some top-tier stuff, you know? And some of the dishes have a bit of presentation to go with it. I especially liked the tiramisu construction and eating it was probably the best tiramisu I've ever had. They don't skimp on the portions either. Our server, Pablo, was very friendly and procedural, explaining things to the table very clearly. Checked up on us frequently and was very receptive to questions and requests. I also love that it seems like the people working the restaurant speak Italian--but they also speak Spanish (this is Florida after all) to better serve the clientele. The restaurant packs your leftovers for you when you ask for a to-go box, which is something I've never experienced before but am not opposed to. And if you ask for a drink with a straw you get a really cool pasta straw. It is expensive but honestly I think they deserve to have the prices like that. So my goal is to get my money up high enough so I can afford a place like this without my parents paying for it :P It's five stars would recommend :) read more

We tried: Spaghetti alle Vongole 5/5 - excellent Bucatini all'amatriciana 5/5 - best I've had outside of Rome Taglioni cacio e pepe con tartufo nero 5/5! - perfection Gnocchi tomato basil 4.5/5 - simple, great dish Branzino 4/5 NY strip 4/5 Baby octopus in tomato sauce 3.5/5 - was a little salty Caprese 5/5 Tiramisù 100/5 - I'm sometimes sus about the table side prep cause there's no time for the lady fingers to soak but it's actually perfect. You get a crunch here and there and the mascarpone, the key to a good tiramisu, is heaven The service and atmosphere is warm and friendly. Beautifully quaint and cozy decor making it feel like a true Italian Osteria. They only serve beer and wine as a true Osteria as well. I'll be back soon! read more

The Milanese was good the only suggestion is to revisit the Meat Balls appetizer, it was only bread , the server knew the issue because he told us, but he said that the chef doesn't listen. I had a slight hiccup because I failed to mention I came with a stroller;however, he accommodated us perfectly. We had to wait for a few minutes for our new table to be ready which was still fine with me because he handed us a complimentary glass wine.
