It was so bland that I had to add the entire house salad on top to make it bearable. You can see I took a bite and realized it was worth posting because it was so bad. I beg to differ about the website Statement by the server. Cheerful, friendly etc. Nice people. 3. The food. Beyond terrible and overpriced. Menu was so pretentious about ingredients. This gave us pause. We should have consumed our delectable old fashioned s and left. But with few choices at Will Roger's we decided to see if the food lived up to the marketing hype. So we cautious ly ordered the American Burger with french fries or house salad. What we got was a clearly previously frozen formed meat? patty, not medium as requested, but well done. Did not even taste like beef. I consumed two bites while my husband managed half of his. Nothing on the menu to indicate how the burger was dressed and the server did not volunteer that info but insisted we say what we wanted on it. so we asked for everything but lettuce on both of them. What was delivered consisted of dry toasted bun and the cooked (previously formed and frozen pattie), what looked to be cheese food rather than real cheese, a tomato, thin pickled cukes and, surprisingly, real bits of onion slices. Oh..And a bottle of off brand high fructose corn syrup catsup plopped into the table. When we asked for mayo and mustard...PACKETS were promptly delivered. It got worse with the sides, if that is even possible. French fries were the crinkled BAKED variety. Previousltpy frozen, guaranteed. who knows from where! The house salad turned out to be 100% ARUGULA with lots of chopped pepperoncini, 3 cherry tomatoes, 2 of which were rotten, a nice bit of cheese and red wine vinaigrette for the dressing. Nothing on the menu anywhere mentioned arugula and the server did not mention it. A complete scam of a place. When we brought the food issues to the servers attention, we were given 20% off on the burgers which at $18.50 each was not a real discount. The entire cost of the burgers should have been comped We would have ordered another round of old fashioneds, they were that good, but did not due to the food being a complete fraud. We will never return as this place does not deserve our business or anyone else's. And the owner should NOT make the staff claim the website review is for the other restaurant. It's not. This is a solid restaurant and bar for an airport. The food is tasty and comes in large portions. They also offer a kid's menu (by request). The restaurant offers comfortable seating and charging stations throughout the bar and booth seats. They play sports on their big screens and the best part of this visit is their warm and quick service. The waitress checked up on us frequently and handled all of our requests. Their manager even came out to check on us and our food. Highly recommend this location for anyone wanting a nice and casual meal before flying. read more

The mushroom gnocchi. The cheese bread. Ya'll! I would've missed one of the best meals I have had in a long time if it weren't for my husbands desire for pasta at that time. He is a huge spaghetti and meatball fan. He doesn't usually take leftover, he just leaves remaining food behind...however, he took even the smallest crumb left uneaten with him! I do take leftovers, however, there was nothing left. IT. WAS. SO. GOOD! The staff was fun, engaging, highly competent, yet laid back and stress reducing. Like any airport dining establishment, the seating is basic, with just enough space to maneuver through the sea of rolling luggage to an available table. So I get that eating at the airport is not cheap, but I could get a little more food for my money, especially with this Caesar salad topped with shrimp. Apparently the eight leaves of romaine cost $14 and the additional three shrimp were $9 on top of that...$25 for 8 leaves of lettuce and 3 shrimp, with some powdery Parmesan and a little bit of Caesar dressing. Bad communication from the bartender to the hostess. I saw a sign that said "closed @ 6:30p," granted it was already 6:15p. So I waited to politely ask the hostess "Is there still time to grab a beer at the bar?" She looked confused and look behind her and gave me a look like "the doors not closed" and then proceed to let me into the bar area. Before I could place my things down the bartender who had just served 2 women at the bar said "we already called last call." As easy as it is to pop open a beer bottle I was surprised the bartender didn't want to make one last sale.... I don't often write a restaurant review and this is the first one I've written for an airport eatery. Osteria earns my 5 stars for their TOP SHELF FOOD AND SERVICE! I have travelled to Italy several times (family member lives there) and have eaten plenty of 'regular' as well as upscale meals there. Osteria nails it in terms of quality, taste and presentation. Waiting for my flight at 'brunch' time, I ordered eggs Benedict. Outstanding preparation! Chef used pancetta instead of Canadian bacon. The hollandaise was light and super-fresh. The poached eggs were tender, and it was topped with the freshest arugula. Sorry, no picture because it was too good to put down my fork. Server Sage was charming and welcoming, not to mention checked back a few times with a smile. Manager Byron stopped by just to check if I was enjoying my meal. I told him that, being an occasional visitor to OKC, I will be back not only here but will bring my party of four to the downtown location next time. read more

Finally!!! We finally found a nice bartender here!! We fly often so we tend to visit here often. This is our first afternoon flight in quite some time. There are two female bartenders that work in the mornings, Kelsi and Susan, that always look like their grandma died. And... they treated customers as such. Sometimes, I feel like letting my hair down a bit before a flight. With sophisticated nonchalance, I slide up to an airport restaurant's bar, order a meal to go, and enjoy a cocktail or two before getting on the plane. I'm not young at all, but the experience makes me feel grown-up, worldly, and that little bit more ready for the stratosphere. Yeah, so don't try that here. Great little spor in Will Rogers Airport, much effort spent creating a comfortable and eye catching oasis in what could have been a dreary forgettable concourse. But their food and service were both disappointing. I ordered their Iced Tea and Waygu Burger (about $20). The iced tea had an odd flavor, like infused with habanero- but rotting habanero, and their burger was school cafeteria fare, no beef taste, cooked dry... well, well, well done. It had a splatter of Waygu fat to try to fool people and topping of a sweet jam and soft cheese. The unsalted french fries were warm from a microwave or oven. Finally a note to servers, when you are robbing your customers please at least smile and shower and brushing your teeth is encouraged. Restaurants put their owners, cooks and servers on a plate. You can tell exactly who these people are. I wouldn't buy a new car from them, let alone a used one. The bartender Johnathon at 12:11pm on 1/11/25 was horrible. We sat here for almost ten minutes waiting for water or a menu to order a drink. He made us take our coats off the empty chair next to us. He made take my handbag off the bar between me and my mate so it wouldn't be in the way of any one but us. A man was sitting next to me with his laptop bag on the bar and his phone leaning on it and he never told him to remove his bag. The brick oven pizza is absolutely delicious! We thought it would cost a fortune to dine at Osteria at the airport since the fast food and even pre-made sandwiches are so pricy at the airport, but this was not the case at all! My husband and I split a mouthwatering pizza that was only $17! They let us do half and half so I got margherita and the Dream Man got pepperoni. We loved the crispy crust, flavorful sauce, fresh herbs, roasted cheese, and pepperoni. We also had the comfort of a cozy half booth with chargers (that actually work) and great service! Alcoholic drinks are a bit higher than standard there, but I don't think there was a charge for water with lemon. We spent much less and were more comfortable than if we had gotten two meals at any of the fast food places. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a longer layover at Osteria! I also highly recommend visiting the Osteria location on Avondale in OKC for your new favorite Italian food. The carbonara shaken from a jar will change your life. I had plenty of time before my flight, off to the bar/restaurant closest to my gate. I wasn't really all that hungry because I had already had lunch. So, I ordered the Old Moses Fashion. Then with my second old fashion I ordered tiramisu. The drink was great and the tiramisu was so good. Next time I'm flying out in the afternoon and have time, I'll order food. Service was fantastic.
