Margherita Pizzaretti, nice size and good, but it was the Side Salad with Basalmic that stood out - EXCELLENT, especially with blue cheese crumbles added! Made for a pleasant airport experience, despite "airport pricing" being in full force and effect. With a late evening arrival at restaurant-less lodging ahead, I opted for a Cheese Board to go. New concept for them, full bar, not just wine. Most of these store fronts I walk by in different airports have one or two people at most, this one will do much better with the full bar, plus adding more menu items. I avoid STARBUCKS like the plague, all of the food is overly processed and tastes the same. Saw Vino Volo and had a bacon, egg, and cheddar croissant. Fresh fried egg, medium! I fly a lot and this is my favorite spot in the OKC airport. It's tucked away at the Delta terminals so it's not as crowded as some of the other places. The food is good and the drinks are decent (cocktails are tasty but very light on the alcohol). Service isn't swift as there is usually only 1 person working but they have always been very nice and helpful. They are certainly doing their best and with a great attitude. After flying and traveling my husband and I arrived home to okc. We wanted to soak in one last kid free meal so we chose here -- i wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was especially for airport food. The bruschetta was okay i wish mozzarella was on this. My ham and swiss sandwich was so FRESH! Even my husband made comments about how fresh and good his was we were shocked! Nothing soggy or fried and it was a really refreshing lunch option. Well, this one was disappointing. The service was very slow, and the server seemed to be having a rough day. I was overcharged an extra drink and then had a difficult time getting them to correct it. They didn't have some of the food that I ordered so I asked if they could substitute something else which they agreed to. Turns out they charged me full price for the menu item AND charged me extra for the substitution. Personally, I like this venue in the OKC airport. I frequently fly out of OKC and need a place to relax before flight. I have visited this place regularly while traveling. On this particular Friday around Noon, the airport was very slow. This end of the airport - by the Delta gates - was very quiet. The restaurant/bar area was sparse with customers. The service was excellent while sitting at the bar. We had the charcuterie board and a a few cocktails. The beer on tap was super cold and served in a chilled glass. My wife had the flight of "Tiny Bubbles" and was very nice. All in all a great place to hang out while waiting for a "delayed" flight. read more

New wine bar and limited restaurant in the OKC airport. Part of Vino Volo airport chain. They serve wine, cocktails, draft beer, breakfast, flatbread and sandwiches to eat in or grab and go. Finally something other than the OKC Grill! The OKC Grill is tired and old and serves all of their food in styrofoam. Thank you Vino Volo for at least offering some nice jazz music in the background with real plates! It is my first time here so I have limited experience. The chicken flat bread was ok, not inspired, but served in real adult glass plates! Side salad was simple with raisin cranberries. Vino is a nice location to wait for Delta departures. I like to visit places that have good vibes and here the employees seem happy, at least with each other and that's good. Prices on wine are a little high but this is a small airport where they have almost no competition so there's that! They honestly have some of the best tomato bisque I've eaten, and I like the flatbread pizza. it's cute and tucked away just outside the TSA line. I would recommend this place if you're stuck at the airport, or don't want to leave and venture around OKCs other eateries. read more

Having the worst meal ever at Vino Volo- first my $24 sandwich came with cheese that I specifically asked for it to be without cheese. The first sandwich actually looked appetizing. Saw the chef hanging out on the phone with the door propped open with some type of large can (maybe tomato sauce?) I was punished for apparently taking the chef away from his phone, what a i received was a poorly put together, nearly raw beef with tons of fat, and the served hot sandwich was ice cold in the middle waiting quite a bit for a waitress to check back both times (FYI they are not busy so no excuse) . I took everything off my plate and asked for the food to be microwaved so I did not have to eat raw beef. They miked it because it went from bloody red to warm pink but the sandwich meat still came back extremely cold. Never again! Do not go to Vino Volos at OKC airport. I usually enjoy VV's food and service at other airports. Save yourself the money on the inedible food and poor service- try a different place. read more
