Ate there for our 30 anniversary . Service was impeccable. They had just reopened after summer vacation. My wife loves their steak dishes but wanted potato,not available. She was disappointed with the polenta and veggies. I had pork ossobucco, better than other places but nothing like their veal version. Her steak was a special for the night mine dish is a regular menu item with a excellent appetizer, and a bottle of so-so wine, bill without tip was $200.00. This is Avery unique restaurant. We have gone there on special occasions and on the first two visits food and service were superb. Most recently, we still experienced the excellent service and fanfare( which you pay dearly for), but the food was not as good as past experiences. Maybe it was an" off night." I had high expectations, but was disappointed. First of all, there is a secret menu. We heard someone order Caesar salad, made table side. It wasn't on the menu. We also saw a couple eating something else, not on the menu. We ordered the Caesar and were very disappointed. They use Balsamic vinegar, not an ingredient in Caesar salad. The waiter drenched the salad in dressing. They used the soft green parts of the romaine and when it was drenched in dressing, it was soft and not tasty. The balsamic added a sweetness not found in Caesar. I would steer clear of this The entrees were good. The olive oil is tasteless. It is clear. It doesn't have that yellow or green color that gives olive oil an amazing taste. They are using something cheap. They are super kind and I wanted to give it a better rating. An Italian restaurant needs a great olive oil for the bread and salad at the very least. read more

One of the best nights in Florida with probably most delicious Italian food. Always happy to support local businesses. It is fairly small place that takes only reservations. Family owned with very personal and unique service. There is beautiful Italian music in background and wines all around Good is amassing and made from scratch. Appetizers were large enough and entrees are more American size portions. My lobster ravioli was fresh and light with large pieces of seafood. My partner had perfectly cooked wish with Frutti de Mare. Owner came up and had a brief chat and we felt like we are coming back when we will be on the neighborhood. read more

The aesthetic is quaint and comfortable yet you know you're somewhere special. The service is beyond amazing from the second you walk in the door. And the food! Where to start on the food! The bread is so soft it melts in your mouth, the gnocchi and caprese appetizers are a lovely way to start the meal, and each and every entree is absolutely divine! I've personally had the osso buco and shrimp ravioli and please don't ask me to choose which I like more. And do not leave without dessert! The hazelnut mousse and lemon cake almost made me cry! First, the good news. The appetizer and entrees were very good. The chef does well here. On the other hand I found the wine list limited and very pricey...bring your own bottle and pay the corkage fee. The waiter appeared to be "up-selling" us from bottled water, to entrees, to wine, etc. So I don't know if they are on commission or just trying to help with the restaurant's margins. The waiter's interest in us seemed to wane after he sold us the entrees. We were delivered a flour-less chocolate cake with a few nuts sprinkled on it in lieu of the hazelnut chocolate cake we ordered but it took 20 minutes to flag down our waiter to have him explain things, (there are only 10 tables in here with 2 waiters so I'm lost on the reason for this). This is a seriously good restaurant...the food was delicious and the wine our server Tim recommended was perfect. My wife had a beef filet and I had veal. The appetizer was beautifully made with fresh vegetables, cheese and basil. We finished up with desserts and coffee...the chef checked on us multiple times and our server was never far away...everything was perfect and they made our 10th anniversary an occasion to remember. Can't speak for the food, it might be awesome. However, I can speak for the pretentiousness of it. Spoiler alert: it really snooty. I was with my extended family and we went here based on the reviews and the fact that the pricing is listed at $$. We walked in and the place was busy, we stated we were a party of six to the host and were sat down at a table that happened to be open. After we sat down we noticed two things: that the table had a reserved sign on it and the menu is nowhere near $$. This is a solid $$$ and needs to be updated. Luckily we noticed the "reserved" placard and mentioned to one of servers and asked if this was a problem and he looked utterly confused. He proceeded to find the guy who sat us, who at that point finally decided to ask if we had a reservation and then proceeded to inform us that they were slammed and without reservation it was a problem. They never apologized, they made us feel like we made the mistake. So we proceeded to leave the place with what felt like the rest of the place staring at us. Note: on the way out we noticed a nondescript note on the door saying they were full and you needed a reservation. Regardless, they should ask if you have a reservation when you walk in. Needless to say, no matter how good the food is, I would never come here. They should learn some basic manners. read more

Last night was our second experience. The first was pre- Covid and amazing. Last night wasn't. First of all the ambiance was quite different- paper table cloths and even napkins. They were so thin the napkins were translucent. Set that aside the food was disappointing in several areas but the last straw was a bug in the entree. So disappointing for our 25th anniversary. This place is overpriced and nothing special. My friend and I shared an appetizer (Caesar salad) and dessert. She had a glass of wine and we each ordered a dinner. The bill was over $150 without tip. I don't mind paying for an exceptional meal, but this meal was not even good. I think that people are charmed by the setting and the "rarified" attitude of the wait staff. Regulars are treated like VIPs and I think that they are lulled into thinking this is great food. I have travelled all over the world and can tell you that the food here is nothing special and is definitely overpriced. Fantastic restaurant! The food was phenomenal from start to finish. We followed our waiter's suggestions from appetizer through entree and dessert and every dish we had was amazing. I had the steak special, my mom had eggplant parm, my dad had the sole, and my wife had one of the pasta specials- they were all unique and made with wonderful flavors and excellent presentation. The menu is vast with a plethora of specials. My entree included a table side flambé within a cheese wheel, which was then used to coat a delicious risotto with said cheese. What a wonderful Italian treasure!! A Palm Coast hidden gem and an unexpected surprise! The flavors were exquisite, from appetizer to dessert. Everything melted in the mouth. Here in Palm Coast/Bunnell it is as close to authentic Venetian as you can get. There was extreme attention to detail and presentation; more than 1:1 staff to customer ratio. Excellent sourcing of seafood, cooked just enough. Great, intimate experience. One complaint would be the bread...my grandma would walk out of a place if they served garlic toast strips before dinner. Hard to keep fresh bread all day though. Reservations required, especially more than two people. I would advise going on M-W for a more intimate feel. read more
