What a delight. Such personal service I have never had. The food was fresh and prepared to perfection. Going back soon. Reservations already made!

Excellent food and wine. You have to make reservations because it's a small place. You will be greeted by the chef. This was our first time there. We went for our anniversary. Best Italian restaurant in the area. Everything is amazing.presentation of the food was amazing. And the chef told you how the dish is made. Highly recommended for a date night. They do have a big table for 10.

We had a very enjoyable early Valentine's dinner at Osteria Rustica. The Osteria does 3 seatings, we chose the earliest at 5pm. The restaurant has around 8 tables, closely arranged in the storefront space. The walls are covered in photos of Venice. The tables are cleverly designed to have a full-height eating area with lower side pieces that can hold common items like bread or wine. The menus are printed daily so the specials are all there. I liked that. The staff were efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Service was impeccable except for one oops when tap water was poured into my Pellegrino. The owner/chef described the appetizers to us. I could tell he wanted us to get the tricolore gnolchetti so we did. All three were good, and we brought some home. It was hard to stop eating it but I wanted to have room for the later course(s). There was pesto, classic Alfredo, and a tomato sauce, comprising the colors of the Italian flag. The complimentary bread was focaccia (simple bread), but made up for its simplicity by being nicely seasoned with a bit of a kick. Butter was served as well, no pretentious olive oil and balsamic here. I wanted to try the Caesar table side, but it wasn't offered to us and it isn't on the menu. I did notice that the tables who got it were all 4 tops so perhaps it doesn't work for them to take up all that room just to make 2 salads. Around 5:25pm a woman came in asking for a table for 2 with no reservation and was turned away. They mean it when they say reservations are required. I liked that too. For our mains, I got the Veal Scallopine with Gorgonzola sauce and my husband got the signature Osso Bucco, pork. The veal was very tender and the Gorgonzola was not overwhelming nor too rich. It came with vegetables of the day and linguini. I was a little worried because the vegetables were "of the day" and the menu had just been printed but they were fresh zucchini, carrot and onion strings, well seasoned and flavored with butter or oil. The Osso Bucco was amazing. Served with saffron risotto and a red sauce, it was falling off the bone tender. The combination of the saffron in the risotto and the red sauce on the meat was nothing short of magical. It went really well with the Sangiovese my hubby had selected too. Slow and steady, he cleaned the plate. And I took the bones home for stock. We also took home the rest of my veal and noodles. At that point, we were finishing our $70 wine and were too full for dessert. The Tiramisu did sound good. There was also a Lemoncello cake. All in all, with a generous tip our bill was $230. For this level of food that is a great value. The wine, I liked it. I found it online at two places for $14 so that is quite a markup. I wonder if we can bring our own? For a place in a store front to have the paper tablecloths and napkins this far after Covid, that also took away from the fine dining experience. For all these factors, I wound up with 4 stars. We had a very enjoyable evening.

Delightful and delicious. Amidst the sea of mundane fry it up chain crappy restaurants, tucked in a small strip is this gem. Northern Italian cuisine and its truly innovative ingredients beautifully presented with excellent service

A true gem. Small little restaurant hidden in a strip mall in FL. As an Italian family, we have a pretty highbar when it comes to eating out. This sweet restaurant was one of the best handmade Italian spots. The sweetest part was when the owner came out to greet each table. This was the huge package!

Osso Buco that you will dream about!

This restaurant is about 2 hours from where we live, but we were celebrating a birthday. I'd like to start by saying that I would take the drive to visit again any time. Located in a strip mall, small, with limited seatings, Osteria Rustica is a local venue that delivers a true dining experience. The team is warm and friendly, and they know their menu (wine and food). You can tell that the dishes are chosen with care and that they are cooked with passion and enthusiasm for sharing! Of course, we accepted recommendations and were not disappointed. The table-side Caesar salad should not be missed. Our special requests (plating one of the Ravioli main dishes as an appetizer to share) were cheerfully accommodated, and we enjoyed every bite. Why go out to eat, when you can go to Osteria Rustica dine?

Apparently reservations are recommended I know they asked us and everyone else who entered even though it was early afternoon on a Wednesday. We were seated in the dining room just off the lobby, yes very nostalgic, the dim lights and cloth covered tables takes you far far away from this beach town even though the ocean is washing over the beautiful sand just across the street. Our server Chloe was exceptional from the moment we were seated and throughout our dinner service. The menu is pages long so unless you've been here before and have a favorite it's a little overwhelming but we got through it and Chloe was patient as we ordered single items until we decided on our entree's. Appetizer - The baked clams, made to order, so there is a wait but there is also crusty Italian bread and oil for dipping while you wait and they are definitely worth the wait. Soup or Salad - comes with the meal so we chose one of each - the spinach soup is heavenly with it's velvety texture and served hot (nothing here arrives lukewarm) the salad is traditional but the balsamic dressing is magical I wanted both so we shared. We picked the lobster ravioli and chicken piccata for the main courses and that's when we agreed this is probably the best restaurant in town, the food was amazing as was the service. Everything here earns a bookmark and a return visit, there are so many things I wanted to try - nice portions and great prices makes this a must try if you're looking for that special place in this little beach town...

Our server brought out our plates, they looked good but my husband ordered penne pasta and received linguine. My food was ok, not better or worse than any other Italian restaurant we have gone to. I make my own paste from scratch and you definitely can tell this pasta is not made from scratch. The atmosphere was nice, put on music that wasn't too loud, but honestly happy we went but not sure anything is pulling us back to go again.

While the patio is nicely designed and has comfy wicker chairs, the parking lot traffic does take a bit from the ambiance. But hey, how often can I dine outside in Florida without dying of heat or mosquitos or drowning in a downpour. They had a ton of delicious specials going but I like to try places for the first time based on my favorite dishes. However, I can't pass up octopus carpaccio and while it was delicious, the slices stuck to the plate which the waiter attributed to being outside where it warmed up. Next time, calamari for sure! I got the fettuccine bolognese as I'm still chasing a sauce that isn't just ground beef added to marinara. I'm happy to say it's the best bolognaise I've found in Central Florida! Their pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich and not overly tomatoey or sweet like most places. It also was fully tossed so it clung to the noodles. Dad was in a pizza mood but was definitely temped by the veal chop special. He ended up with the all in pie and I knew it was a winner when he ate the crust. He's very picky about crust and this hit the mark on texture and taste! So yes, the love this group has for Don Giovanni is real and if you haven't tried it I definitely recommend it!
