I ordered the plant based cheeseburger with all the fixings, fries and a lemonade. Mister did not miss a beat with this one yall. If I close my eyes I would be floating in burger heaven! The patty was cooked perfectly with the right amount of seasoning. The pretzel bun was fresh and so were the veggies. My fries....they were HOT! Steaming and crispy. The lemonade was perfect, sweet and tart. The service provided was top tier. They checked to see how my food was, how my day was and comped my drink for waiting (and the wait wasn't even long!) The restaurant is clean and decorated very cute with its plants and inspired artwork. This place is amaaaaaazing! The ultimate fries are better than any other vegan places version. It could be their insanely good signature chili! First and foremost, big shout out to Norm!!!! I am currently doing a 21 day fast, and needed to find an alternative to what I was eating, and upon research on yelp, I came across Othello's. What a true savior! Cleanliness: Very happy on how well kept this restaurant is kept, and how the decorations all come together. Food selections: We tried the chicken Alfredo, spaghetti and meat sauce, ultimate fries, and spicy chicken sandwich all AMAZING!!! I just discovered Othello's Plant Based Kitchen this afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised not only to find a new plant based restaurant in town, but also to learn it's REALLY delicious y'all. My room mate and I came in to peruse the menu and be nosey and were greeted with a calm atmosphere, good music playing and a generous invitation to sample the chili and the bolognese. Absolutely incredible (and I don't mean "for plant based", I mean incredible full stop). I hadn't planned on having lunch, but I ordered the chili and tots to go. The place is a bit expensive, like everywhere these days. Service was attentive and kind. I wish they had some low cost specials and some kind of check in deal for reviewers. We are moving to Woodland Hills and decided to check out the neighborhood. Oh boy, how we were surprised! The chicken sandwich was one of the best vegan chicken sandwiches I have tried! I went back and had another one! The spicy peppers that come with the sandwich are delicious, and I am not usually a person who likes spicy food! The whole menu is amazing, and I cannot wait to come back and try more. The staff and the owner are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a great place to have in my new neighborhood. I can't remember the last time I've seen samples anywhere so we were excited - we got to try the chili and the bolognese, both of which were amazing! First I have to apologize for the lateness of this review - I was there last week Saturday on my way home from the beach... The restaurant is adorable and ultra clean. There is plenty of parking and seating inside. When I entered I was greeted right away and the service was helpful and welcoming. This is hands down the best vegan place, and I've been to a LOT of vegan places in California and outside of California. We had a spicy chicken burger and a lasagne and we finished it in seconds. My son had a grilled cheese from the kids menu and he finished it all, which is very rare. The place was very cute, and very clean and their service was excellent. I think they used some good bun, may have been some pretzel or some briouche bun nice and toasted, the vegan chicken was just OK, and what ever else with it was OK as well. Fries were decent as any other frozen fries, but a bit better than others, so that was good. Sauce was also good. I dont know what it was missing? Love? energy? It was on the dry side. So excited there's a new plant based spot in the Valley! There are a lot of options on their menu so I'm excited to go back and try more but this time I got the cheeseburger and I kept seeing reviews talk about the loaded fries so I had to partake. The food was DELICIOUS. Absolutely impeccable flavor. I was really blown away. The loaded fries are definitely big enough to share - so excited for my leftovers!! I ordered take out and was home and eating in about 20 minutes & my food was still hot :) It was $32 for my fries and burger which is on the higher end for a fast casual place but the food was very good and life is just expensive now. Othello's is CLEAN. Like spotless. Quite possibly the cleanest restaurant I've been to in LA. And so beautifully decorated! Service was also lovely. The staff member that took my order was very helpful and shared her recommendations which I gladly took. There's a free parking lot and I was able to find a spot right out front. Had a wonderful meal here! I came in the afternoon on Sunday thinking I was after the brunch/lunch rush but to my surprise the restaurant was crowded. The service was great and helpful. I ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich. It took a little while for it to come out and the employee was very apologetic for the wait. It seemed the kitchen was overwhelmed with a large order. The sandwich was very tasty and I loved the texture of the jackfruit and flavors of the sauce. It was on the pricier side for casual food but still worth the price for the quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant was bright and comfy and it was very clean and enjoyable to eat at. I also loved the fruit infused water.
