Always looking for a good breakfast spots in south Washington, my daughter and I had to try out Otra Vez. The ambience is, how do I say, standard? The staff is just the right level of friendly and attentive. Definitely, you have to try the dishes that they specialize in, though my daughter had the eggs Benedict with bacon and said it was fantastic. I got the rancheros and it was absolutely delicious and just the right amount. Check this place out!

I'm so impressed with Otra Vez! Tasty food, quick service, and plenty of GF options if you need them. I've been here a few time with my sister. We always share. She gets a healthier breakfast and I get the pancakes. The staff is so attentive without getting in the way, and they always are quick with the coffee refills.

Ok , so if you're looking for an "authentic " taqueria - this isn't it ,(look at the menu ) however... it's good food , I'm gonna go back to my 1/2 star rating and round up (so 4.5 stars ) they lost a 1/2 star from me because of the loooooong wait and because the tortillas were definitely cheap store bought .

Had a lovely and leisurely breakfast in this light-filled space this morning. It was our first time here and we immediately felt welcome by our server. He was friendly, helpful and attentive. Our food was delicious! I had Chilaquiles, my husband had the Rancheros and our friend had the Elote pancakes. All were delicious and prepared with care. The salsa they brought out was also tasty. They did charge .75 for 3 little containers of it. That seemed just a bit petty to us, but it really was very good. We will definitely be back!

The service has been really good so far. Love the seating very bright and lively. Food is really good the chefs comes out to make sure everything is good.

Wow, this was tasty! I loved the vegan options. We had a burrito vegano, which was slightly dry but the sauces they gave us made it amazing. I might have cooked the vegan bacon slightly more but it was still delicious. The rancheros was one of the most delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts I've had in ages. The tortilla was crispy and the mix of flavors was absolutely perfection. Our server was Summer and she was very friendly and gave us great service. The restaurant was clean and bright with modern Spanish language music. If you are vegan, there are lots of options. I highly recommend Otra Vez.

This space is incredibly cute and Latino cultura is present throughout which I love. From the cute and colorful patio to the pops of orange throughout the restaurant. It's truly a gem in design. The only thing that stands out more than the ambiance is the food and cocktail lists. The elote pancakes was delicious and the chilaquiles I stoled from my husband were decadent. Okay, I live family run restaurants. Especially if they are a little hard to find. I friend recommended Oltra Vez as a great Mexican Brunch place. The food did not disappoint. The menu is not strictly Mexican dishes as there is a basic breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast) and basic eggs Benedict but the real star for us was the Chorizo Benedict and the Ranchero dishes. The pancakes with the lemon blueberry compote on top is also killer. Service was great. Really seemed like a family restaurant in all the good ways filling water on the spot and checking in. Ambiance is nice. Although the ceilings are tall, sound did not seem overly echoey. The both cushions were a bit soft but it could have just been the Ken we sat at, built that is me being nitpicky. Overall fantastic addition to the area

We stumbled across this place but are really glad we did! The food here was top notch and we left satiated and happy. The service was nice, clean and bright atmosphere and the bathrooms were clean. We had the eggs Benedict and elota panqueques. Highly recommend. My only complaint is it's a little tricky to find and the parking is not ideal. But that won't stop us from coming back! read more

My husband and I planned to go to Petite Provence, but there was an hour and a half wait. So glad there was because we got to eat here! We walked in with a warm welcome from 3 of the staff members. We were sat quickly and were given enough time to decide what we needed for breakfast. All staff members were friendly and attentive. I ordered a michelada, and my husband ordered a Paloma; both were excellent. Absolutely loved it. I ordered the chiliquiles And it was exactly like what I order in Mexico. There were a bunch of other delicious sounding items on the menu. Benedict's, lemon berry pancakes. Very nice servers. I will be going back very soon. They are only open until p.m. so don't really have lunch items. The restaurant is fairly spacious so they can seat several tables read more

This place was amazing! Menu was just right - four adults and two kids all found what they liked. Everyone enjoyed the meal. I think the pancakes were they hit but everything was fabulous. We didn't drink but saw some pretty fun cocktails coming from the bar! read more

Excellent breakfast joint! A real eclectic collection of amazing food with a fusion of Tex-Mex and modern cafe. Family friendly but would also be a fun place for brunch with Bloody Mary's and friends. Altogether a great addition to the neighborhood. read more

This is the best breakfast joint around. We've enjoyed chili Quiles and Huevos rancheros multiple times. The waffles, eggs and bacon, everything is delicious and we would order it al again. Great even with takeout. Support this business so we can enjoy it for years! read more

Ortra Vez is fantastic! Finally tried it today and my omelet was delicious, it's clear they use quality ingredients. I'm super picky and dairy free and they were great with modifications which I really appreciated. Been going here regularly for a year or so as they were a good option for vegan breakfast and I really enjoyed their breakfast burrito. Apparently they'll no longer serve the burrito on weekends but will on weekdays? Reason given was takes too much grill space. Gave me the ingredients separately (deconstructed) today when I ordered it. Apparently individual customers are no longer important enough for a burrito sized space on the grill. read more

This place is a miss for us. They were friendly but so so slow, we came early and the place was less than half full And we waited almost 30 minutes for our food. Food was descent but the portions for the price was disappointing. Fourteen dollars for 3 small pancakes with a scoop of berries was ridiculous! Almost 80 dollars for breakfast for 4 people I expected much more, so sadly we will go elsewhere for our Sunday breakfast outing. read more

Wow, those Chilaquiles I just inhaled were awesome!! Just the right balance of ingredients. The crunchy from the chips and the spice level from the two sides of different yummy salsas was perfect. The places next door are still under construction but you'll be rewarded for finding this place. Delicious breakfast and a super friendly owner who gave us a dessert waffle (heaven on a plate...) to try out since they just opened. Everything we ordered was super delicious. The food was made from scratch with an original flare to their recipes. Young hostess with pretty eyes and huge fake lashes sat us at the only table with 100% direct sunlight on it. There's currently a heatwave. It was really hot. Due to my skin condition, we immediately asked to be moved to another vacant table in shade. She said no. She proceeded to sit a single man who came in after us on that 4-top we asked to move to. We had no choice but to leave. We politely informed her we were leaving and explained why. She very loudly said, "Goodbye then!" She couldn't have cared less. This is sad because we have been coming here regularly since they opened. The food is good. She was incredibly rude. I can't pay money for an awful wait-staff experience. read more

Came here for breakfast early Saturday morning while driving through. We didn't know what to expect. The place was tucked in the corner of the parking lot and did not look much from outside but inside is roomy, bright and well laid out even during COVID dine-in. Had a great experience here! I got the Rancheros and my husband got the strawberry banana pancakes. The portions sizes were very generous and full of flavor. Poor location. Terrible parking, you're fighting with a hotel, an urgent care, a driving school, and a sushi restaurant. Good luck easily parking. The restaurant / bar is just, messy. Decor everywhere but so much of it that you feel overwhelmed. Service was friendly but slow. We sat in the bar and the bartender took 15 minutes just to take our drink order... I get he was busy chatting with the other people at the bar but he completely ignored us. The fajitas were basically terrible. They were so awful, we joked that they likely came out of the freezer section of the Sysco truck. From the time we ordered to the time food hit the table was just a couple minutes. Totally a microwave / pre-fixed meal. Nothing was fresh. Taste was awful, we didn't finish and we declined to take a box home. It's overpriced. The menu is confusing. The cleanliness is lacking. Their "salsa" was water with chunks of gooey tomato and completely tasteless. The chips were stale. They brought this free salad stuff with the salsa that was questionable. It's not often I leave a poor review. Unfortunately, I cannot give one positive thing about our entire experience. We will not return.

This place is amazing it's nice and clean and very spacious. The workers are kind and make you feel welcomed. The head chef came out and spoke to everyone. He checked in with us and asked how the food was. You can tell they really care about their customers. The food is amazing! I ordered the cheeseburger and my boyfriend ordered the chilaquiles. Both were super delicious and filling. The restaurant is hidden but it's also super easy to find. I highly recommend this place to others. Food and waitress were good. The wait for the food, however, took over 45 minutes. The seemed to be filling the to go orders much more quickly. So if you want to eat here, order it to go. Do not walk in as you'll be onto your next meal by the time your food arrives. read more
