This pizza is the best pizza I've had in all of Colorado so far. The pizza in the Midwest and New York far out rank any pizza in Colorado. But Otto is right up there! I was first introduced to this place a couple months ago. I loved their pizza and beer selection, because of this I have been there about 8 times since. I would give them 5 stars, but the last couple times I've been here the pizza crust has been burnt on the bottom. Pizza is pretty tasty but too expensive for what you get. Service is sorta slow and unorganized - some of the people on the wait staff are pretty much brain dead. My wife ordered (very small) glass of house wine and it was $9 - probably box wine. Our total bill (including tip) for four people to eat a mini pizza and each have a beer/wine was nipping at $90 which is a lot for a casual sit down Italiano joint. Seems this place is run for maximum profit first and customer satisfaction second or even third. lots of better and cheaper pizza joints in the Fort! FYI there are over 40 pizza joints in the FORT! The pizza is great especially the hot mama! They really should bottle that Honey Sriracha sauce. They have a really interesting selection of beers. Stuff I have not seen in other places but I have bought from the liquor store. read more

The rude service made me think it was bar... When we had more than 10 people and couldn't combine the wooden patio tables cause it crossed "wait" staff lines it seemed ridiculous. Especially when there were no more tables on our waitress's "side". So people from the group started leaving. When I waited forever to use the single restroom it started to feel like a restaurant. But quickly I discovered that ordering a Margherita pizza costs more than ordering each item as an "a la" carte pizza and that renewed my faith that it was a bar. The server seemed rude, telling people they couldn't split a pizza unless they combined tabs. It was my first time, and most likely my last time as there are so many great places in Fort Collins. But the TV being on the home shopping channel was epic. read more

Went to Otto Pint for a fun and relaxing pizza and beer dinner after a long day at work, somewhat disappointed. The entrance and hostess seating was a little confusing as we entered through a side door and were told to go to the north door...ok, no big deal. We asked to be seated outside as it seemed a bit noisy inside by the bar. The outside turned out to be far worse! We were seated next to a table of 8 women who didn't seem to care that they were in a public restaurant and were extremely loud and obnoxious. The wait staff didn't seem to care or ask them to tone it down even though every one around us seemed annoyed too! After a few minutes, our waitress came to take our order. We wrote what we wanted on 2 order sheets of paper, which seemed a bit wasteful as we simply could have told her which 2 pizza's we wanted. Then we tried to order drinks...The drink menu didn't make much sense and the beer list was disorganized and equally as confusing. We were served in a reasonable amount of time but our waitress was not the friendliest wait person we've had at a restaurant. The food was not bad but overpriced for the small portion you get, I actually went home hungry! After dinner it took at least 20 minutes to get the tab. By this time, the noise was maddening and I just couldn't wait to leave!!! Not a fun, relaxing night at all. I would not recommend this place based on our first experience and if they want to have repeat customers, they need to make some improvements. read more

Right down the street from my apartment sits this little gem. It's got an amazing atmosphere with bean bag toss and enough room to throw around a frisbee. Amazing personal pizzas. Was disappointed by the apps but it's a personal pizza restaurant so that comes with a grain of salt there from the start. Great beer and enough TV's to get your sports on if you want. Was hoping this place would be awesome and it just isn't yet. Beer and pizza were good, but service was seriously lacking. Waited forever for a table and finally decided to just get pizza to go. No one would take our to-go order and it ended up taking way longer to-go than it would have if we sat down. Not very kid friendly place. What a disaster!! We are two gluten free diners (severe gluten allergy and ulcerative colitis) who spoke at length to the hostess (who said she had celiac disease) who gave us lots of GF suggestions and "convinced us" (her words) to eat at Otto Pint. We ordered carefully from the Build-Your-Own pizza menu (with GF crust). The first pizza we were served had cheese on it in spite of the fact that we checked the "no cheese" box. Okay, as an ex-waitress I know that mistakes are made. Our waitress took full responsibility and quickly served us a cheese-less pizza. However, the second one had red sauce instead of the pesto we'd ordered. By this time we were so hungry we ate it anyway, figuring we'd mention the second mistake to the manager on the way out. After we got the bill, we realized we hadn't been charged $6 (!) for the GF crust. Someone from the kitchen confirmed that we, who had successfully avoided gluten for a total of 35 years between us, had just eaten a regular gluten pizza!! If you're gluten free, you know there can be SEVERE consequences if you eat gluten. When the manager got involved, he told that in spite of searching through the trash, they couldn't find the original order slip we'd filled out for the pizza. Really? Where could it have gone in 45 minutes? Had he found it, it would have decisively shown the order, right? He comped the pizza (but not the wine, although he gave us the locals discount-- weird), but did so grudgingly. Oh, and on the way out, the hostess told us she'd emphasized to the waitress that we were gluten-free and to make sure we got the GF pizza. Now most restaurants are hyper aware of celiac disease and GF allergies but honestly, this manager was more concerned with defending his employee than making sure we were OK. Everyone said "I hope you give us another chance." I'll be thinking of that while I sit on the toilet tonight, and while my friend has severe headaches for two weeks. Not hardly, Otto. Even if you are NOT GF, be prepared for lousy order-reading and defensive management at Otto Pint. read more

Although the pizza was pretty good they CANNOT keep up with the high volume they bring in. Brought my wife and son for dinner and it took us 30 minutes to be seated (normal not the bad part). As we were waiting outside a waitress came to us and asked if we would like drinks I asked what they had on tap and she pointed to the bar inside, which I could not see, and said "they are all right there at the bar." After we got seated and our order was placed we waited for over a hour to get our three pizzas. We waited for over 20 minutes to even see our waitress again. Then our food was brought out by someone else and our waitress saw us one more time to bring us our check...they need to improve on flow and wait staff!!! read more

This place is a winner. The pizza is very good. The ambience is so laid back with a nice outdoor area. The mixed drinks were really good, and I like how they offer the best of local breweries on their draft beer. The four cheese pizza is terrific. Service was good. My only suggestion is that the drink board, a cut idea, is so small and hard to see, it is practically useless. Give us daily printouts of what is available. But that's it. Loved the pizza. I got a Pesto, artichoke, prosciutto pizza. It was money. Mozzarella was soft and tastey. Nice touch of oil on the top. I really like how the middle was soft and outside was crunchy. Service was great. Will definitley return. read more

In two words: Excellent pizza! I like the build-your-own option, the crispy, thin crust, and so many interesting toppings to work with. Pizza and salad were delicious. I called them in the morning to give them a heads up about our large group wishing to dine with them. I told them about 30 to 35 people were planning on coming at 7pm. They told us that they did not take reservations. I told them that we were still planning on coming. They explained to us that they couldn't guarantee that we would be able to sit together and that each party on a ticket had to sit together. I told her no problem. The person on the phone was trying to talk us out of coming in. She asked if we still wanted to come even though they couldn't guarantee that we would be able to sit together. When our group showed up at the time I told them we were coming, the manager met us. From the very beginning she was rude and argumentative. She told our party that we had to share two picnic tables. Two picnic tables for 30-35 people? The place was empty and there were plenty of tables open. When the first people in our party showed up, the manager told them that she had explained this to the person that had called earlier that morning. They were told what I was told, which was that we couldn't sit together and we would have to sit at separate tables. The manager became angry and told her that was the rule and if we didn't like it we could take our business elsewhere. Like I said, the place was empty with maybe 5 other tables being used. The entire outside patio which is where we wanted to sit, was completely empty. We asked her if we could use a couple of tables along with the two picnic tables so we wouldn't be so crowded and she just threw her hands up and said whatever. We ended up staying and we did get a wonderful waitress that served us. She was great and we did end up having a fun time, however the food runners seemed completely put out that they had to bring pizzas out to a group and the middle aged male employee, who was helping the food runners, was very rude and was very rude to the servers. The pizzas here are very good, the beer selection is good, the servers were good but the management at this place totally sucks. I'd say given a choice, which there is plenty of in Fort Collins, take your business elsewhere. The only reason we stayed was, it was close to the hotel we were staying at and it would have been more of a hassle to regroup and find someplace else. read more

My first time was quite a disaster. After work with friends. Just drinks. Took forever for our waitress to bring our drinks to the table. We started recommending that people went to the bar for their drinks and they got them much quicker. It was a bummer that they do not offer any snacks. Just pizza and a couple salads. The server recommended the black and blue berry fusion drink. Which I did not like. she came to ask me what I thought and when I told her that it was not sweet enough she said yes it's not sweet enough for me either and walked away. I had about one sip and she later came by and asked if I was ready to pay. I was disappointed that she didn't ask to fix it. I tried again with my husband and another couple. Took a very long time to get our drinks, I just ordered a Shirley Temple this time but everybody else got beer, the waitress got the order wrong. Took forever to fix it. The pizzas were Ok. Not great. Thin crust. Lots of topping choices but not cheap! Gluten free did not taste good. Sun glare is a problem. It has a cool vibe but servers need more training. Slow service. I did not have to wait for a table but people that did had to stand around and fight for an open table. There is no host to take names. I hope it gets better! read more

The only reasons I only gave it 4/5 stars is because it was a bit loud; hard to converse. Also, although the create your own pizza was phenomenal, it wasn't very filling. After wanting to try this place for a long time, finally went in tonight and just left without eating, completely disappointed. Sat ourselves outside, with unattended children running around screaming, waited about 10 minutes for someone to come take our drink order, then another 15 to get the drinks (there were only two of us). Waitress says she'll drop off the waters at the big table behind us and be right with us, knowing we had been waiting to order, but then never came back. Took other tables' orders before ours, including large tables, and after another 10+ minutes we asked someone else to bring our check. Our server comes over and asked what she did wrong, completely clueless she neglected our table, and didn't care whatsoever. Completely let down for how excited we were to try their food. Went to Rally 5 after and instantly got great service. This restaurant seems understaffed and poorly managed. Only good thing was an option to sit outside and the black and blue drink I ordered was good. read more

We love Otto Pint! The pizza is delicious, the happy hour is great, the patio is very relaxing and we love the fact that the kids can play while we eat and relax - but, why on earth is there not a changing table in the restroom of a very kid friendly restaurant. You have high chairs, kids menus and crayons, but where do you expect us to change a diaper??? I know the owners of this and two there restaurants in town have kids, hence the names of the restaurants, so I believe they should understand and do something about this. read more

After a long day, we visited this restaurant for the first time for some pizza and beers. My husband was running a bit late, and the waiter (Mathew) was very understanding and kind. The food was fantastic. We ordered a ziggy pizza, a magherita pizza, and a personalized pizza for our kids to share. We ended with a cast iron cookie on Mathew's recommendation. It was so, so good. Everything we ate was excellent. We were very impressed with the beer, food, and excellent service and will be returning, for sure. read more
