Now why have you all been hiding Ouisie's table from me? I tried them for the first time after driving past it so many times, not realizing exactly what it was, so I'm honestly glad I finally stopped in. This place is an absolute gem and feels like a well-kept secret if you're not already in the know. I'm sure the OG Houstonians are very familiar, but it was new to me. I got invited on an outing here and we arrived around 8:45pm on a Tuesday night, right before the kitchen closed. It was pretty quiet with just one other table, but you could immediately tell this restaurant has history. It has that classic "this used to be the spot" energy. I ordered the New Orleans Blackened Red snapper, which was served with vegetables. It was delicious, and paired it with a really refreshing mocktail. Everything hit. It was so hard to even choose this entrée because everything on the menu looked good. I'm already looking forward to coming back and experiencing it during a livelier time. Also worth noting that there's plenty of parking and valet is available.

This was my first time visiting, as I came for a business luncheon. The environment and the restaurant itself are beautiful, especially the entryway. I loved the cart with the champagne bottle; such a nice touch. We sat in one of the reserved rooms and were served by two gentlemen who were truly on top of their game. Their customer service was excellent, efficient, attentive, and very courteous. As for the food, I'm not exactly sure what the dish was called, but it was delicious. The dessert and the bread were also very good. I'd love to come back on my own time and try other dishes from the menu. One thing to note: parking is limited. They do offer valet for $5, which is a helpful option. Overall, a great first experience. I'll definitely be back.

This is a very pretty restaurant to take a special person to or to just meet a friend. The food is always very good, and they will normally permit substitutions (vegetables, fries, etc.) - basically "they aim to please". Met a friend here for lunch and there's always room on a weekday for lunch - the restaurant does fill up in the evenings and on weekends. The server was very pleasant and accommodating with a change order. We just had standard fare today, the burger with fries and the turkey club. Also, a cappuccino. Very reasonably priced for lunch. A leisurely lunch and we sat around for another 15 minutes. Food came out in about 10 minutes time. Easy to get here - just inside the loop on San Felipe. Valet parking is $5 - you could park yourself, but it is a long walk.

Came here for a company lunch and was really impressed with everything from the decor, to the service, to the food. Started out with the shrimp and crab tower, had the salmon as my entree, and tres leches for dessert. I would absolutely come back for any future events.

Ordered the fish tacos. They were delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Interior was very nice, tables spaced for easy conversation. Parking was tight but $5 valet is available.

I came to celebrate my birthday/Christmas with a friend. We've both passed by here a million times (though I thought it was called Elvie's table and she thought it was Eunice due to the cursive letters lol) so we finally stopped in. The place was cute and cozy in the lobby. The main dining room is one big room and it seems like it used to be a house. They had a pianist playing seasonal music (and later happy birthday for me :). Rey have an assortment of complementary bread that was unfortunately the best thing we ate all night. We asked for more and took 3 waiters to finally bring it. The menu sounds super exciting but the pictures left a bit to be desired and the flavor did as well. We dined toast style from their small plates and nothing was mentionably good. The calamari was oddly thick and cut into squares which made me wonder if it was really calamari. The oysters Rockefeller were left uneaten after trying one each. The crab cakes also disappointed. My friend did like her edge salad though. They brought a slice of cake for my birthday that was good. Overall it was disappointing. They have free parking in front of San Faldo's or valet is $5

Cute little restaurant, kind of hidden in a sense. They have valet which is $10. Came here for an early dinner so it wasn't crowded at all! John was our server and he was amazing. I had the American Angus beef burger cooked a medium no complaints there. The Greek salad is also pictured. I did not try it, but it looked delicious. Loved my blueberry lemon drop martini.

I hosted my annual Galentine's Brunch here this year and it was a success! I highly recommend reserving Cooper's Bin for privacy. They allowed me to bring my speaker and play the music that I wanted and also to decorate. Management was very communicative and helped me create my own menu. I would absolutely come back with my family and friends for brunch!

I love coming here. It has been awhile since I was here last. The food is always Awesome. I got the grilled-10-oz-rib-eye and my fried got the herb crusted sea scallops and shrimp with salmon roe. Everything was perfectly cooked. Ten stars.

Came here for a work meeting. There's valet service for $5 at the front. The service was wonderful, food was decent and the ambiance was nice.

I was excited to try Ouisie's Table for Houston Restaurant Weeks, especially when I saw the $39 dinner menu featuring a crab cake appetizer. Despite some reviews about forced valet parking, we had no issues and were able to park ourselves and walk to the restaurant. The ambiance had an older, more traditional feel compared to the fun atmosphere I was expecting given its proximity to the Galleria. I think I was probably the youngest diner there. The meal started with three types of muffins--cornbread and jalapeño cheddar being the BEST. I shamelessly ate six of them, and the waitstaff happily kept them coming! For the appetizer, I ordered for the crab cake. While the portion was decent, the flavor didn't stand out, and the corn pairing did not help. My main course was the beef tenderloin with vegetables and au gratin potatoes. It was simple and straightforward, but nothing memorable. The potatoes were my favorite part of the dish, though they could have been cooked a little longer for a softer texture and more browning on top as you would expect with au gratin potatoes. Overall, the service was excellent, but the simplicity of the food just wasn't for me. Can I get those muffins to go?

Maybe seasoning them a little more, cutting them in halves, and charring them would've done the job. Peach cobbler was so yummy. I loveeeee how they have offer for preferences with the peach cobbler (more crust, more filling, or neutral) because I personally love more crust. Kool aid was good but could stand to be just a tad bit less sweet with more flavor. All in all if you have a catfish craving and want good vibes and service I'd 1000% endorse this spot.

You could easily come here for a fancy birthday celebration or just a casual lunch and brunch. I loved that I didn't feel weird having two kids under six with us. My youngest had the chicken tenders with mac and cheese, and my husband really liked his stuffed poblano pepper dish. The mashed potatoes were great, and the greens leaned more sweet than savory, which I really enjoyed. The fried green tomatoes were another major standout with the sauce they served. In the past, I have been a huge advocate for this establishment and have recommended Grace's to countless family members and friends. Unfortunately, after my experience today, I can no longer say that I would confidently recommend this restaurant. My aunt came into town to celebrate her birthday and wanted to go somewhere nice for brunch, so naturally, I recommended Grace's. I made reservations for 12:30 PM, and our family traveled approximately an hour from the Cypress/Katy area to celebrate Labor Day together. Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly and continued throughout our entire meal. After being seated, our waiter came over, introduced himself, and then we did not hear from him again for approximately 20-25 minutes. During that time, he did not take our drink order, ask if we wanted appetizers, or even bring the complimentary cornbread. We were literally looking around trying to find our waiter. Thankfully, we were able to get the attention of a manager, who took our drink order and brought our drinks himself. That alone should have been an indication that something was wrong with the service. Later, my mom and aunt ordered another round of drinks. My mom received hers, but my aunt's drink never came. Our food arrived, we ate, finished our meal, and her drink still had not been brought to the table. At that point, my aunt told the waiter to cancel the drink and asked for the check because we were ready to leave. When we received the check, we noticed that a gratuity/service charge had been added. Since there were only three adults and two children in our party, we decided to speak with the manager--the same manager who had to take our drink order earlier. We explained our experience and the issues we had with the service. What was most disappointing was that instead of apologizing, acknowledging our concerns, or expressing any genuine concern about the experience we had just described, the manager made excuses. That response was extremely disappointing. I understand that restaurants can have busy days, mistakes happen, and service issues can occur. What made this experience particularly frustrating was the lack of accountability and customer service after we brought the issues to management's attention. I have been to Grace's numerous times, so I know what the experience is normally like. This was not an extremely busy day compared to what I am accustomed to seeing at Grace's, which made the poor service even more surprising. We drove an hour to celebrate my aunt's birthday and expected to have a great Labor Day brunch at a restaurant that I had personally recommended to my family. Instead, we left extremely disappointed. This was not the Grace's experience I have known in the past, and unfortunately, based on today's experience, I will think twice before recommending or returning to this location.
