came here on a Friday evening around 5pm on a solo date before I went to the movies. I'm a lover of boujee luxurious restaurants so when I went to houston this place was definitely on my list! I was greeted with a birthday card, the place was not totally packed which I liked. I got a mocktail, fish and chips and everything was 10/10. My waiter was so nice and kind to me helped me take my pictures (which is important to me) and helped me decided what to order.

Wow... just wow. This place is gorgeous. Definitely date night worthy! We did a girls' NO here and sat on the patio which was so cute. It was a little cold but it was fully enclosed and they eventually turned on the heater. The waiter was very helpful, and answered all of our questions while being very patient. We ended up with an assortment of food. They are known for their martinis and their happy hour is decently priced for their specialty martinis. This place is definitely worth a try!

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant. The did was amazing...so amazing we dug in without taking pictures. The Parker house rolls were a hit. They also start you off with this delicious tea. I could've bought it by the gallon! Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ate the marigold salad, spaghetti, the roasted chicken, with mashed potatoes and the sundae cart and pistachio tart for dessert! 10/10

I loved the complimentary tea served in the beginning. It reminded me of a non alcoholic wine with kombucha. Everyone was attentive and made sure we had a good time. The tea itself was ok. The earl gray was my favorite. A well balanced black tea although I prefer to have a bit of milk which I'm sure I could have asked for. The savory sandwiches were awful. The bread was stale, the chicken salad was too sweet. The pastrami sandwich needed mustard or mayo. The meat tasted cheap. The cucumber tart was great and so was the gougere. Although the savories were a full miss, the sweets were everything. Beautiful, delicate, and complex. The definitely saved the day. I really like the scones and the sweet cream fraiche. Maybe the supplements would have helped save the savory course but I don't think you should need them in the first place.

We made reservations for Saturday night and they seated us right away. This is probably one of the most beautiful and romantic spots we've ever been to. The walls are hand painted beautifully. The chairs are made of beautiful material and the chandeliers are roses. We started our meal with MUSSEL ESCABECHE TOAST, and Fish "Not"chips. The toast was incredible and delicious, the Fish not chips was not good at all! There was so much salt and oil that every single item on the dish tasted the same way. We then ordered the halibut and Beef Wellington. Both dishes were good. The Halibut was cooked perfectly. And the curry sauce was creamy and delicate, however the seat on top of the fish was overly salty. The onion rings were the absolute worst I've ever had, they where's crispy and the batter tasted stale. We each had one bite and they went to waste. We finished our meal with the peach Melba and ice cream cart. The peach tart was ok, nothing to rave about and the ice cream cart was more for show as the ice cream itself was bland. I'm a huge fan of salt on everything, but these dishes were all just overly salty. Not a fan of coming back.

My husband and I had a lovely meal here even with their prix-fixe menu on a holiday. Our waiter accidentally spilled some wine on my husband's shirt while serving him, but luckily it was white wine. The entire restaurant was so full, crowded, that we felt we were back dining in New York City (but more reasonable prices). We hope to try this restaurant again on a non holiday to dine.

So good! The whole experience was wonderful. We loved almost everything we ordered! Here's the breakdown: we ordered a dozen oysters and added 2 caviar boops. They came from three different regions, 4 of each. They were amazing-we didn't even need to add lemon or any of the accoutrements to them. Literal perfection. Then we ordered the steak tartare and French fries (because I always have to have fries). Once again, absolutely amazing. Cafe Annie has always had my favorite steak tartare in Houston, but now.. that little honor goes to the Marigold Club! The fries were thin, crispy and delicious, and came with a bearnaise aioli. I want that aioli to go with everything I eat from now on. For entrees we got the Roasted Chicken and the Bone-in Pork Chop. The chicken was by far the winner! It was juicy and flavorful and the sauce on it was unbelievable. The pork chop was good, but it was a little dry and the sauce had a very strong ash taste to it. Still good, but not something I would order again. It was our anniversary so they brought us a complimentary dessert. Neither of us are big dessert people, but we appreciated the sweet gesture so we tried it and it was so good! I can't remember what he said the name it was, but we ate the whole thing! Overall, the whole dinner was win. I would definitely recommend and we will 100% be back so I can try everything else on the menu!

Celebrated our 26th anniversary yesterday! We were impressed with the service. They checked on us often and always were refilled our glasses. Food came out in time and was beautifully prepared. The Duck Wellington and Seabass were delicious! The martinis were on point. They dessert and coffee were delicious. Several others were celebrating anniversary or special occasions. The main room was beautifully decorated. Cool neo jazz playing in the background. The pink room and was nice too. The restrooms were clean and had cool decor. It felt like we were in the Great Gatsby. We will definitely be back. Complimentary valet was a plus!

We came back for afternoon tea and I can honestly say it's one of my favorite teas in Houston now. Everything was beautiful, delicious and well-portioned. The teas were good and service was great.

Came here to try out their brunch menu and it was really good. Reservations were easy to make online - you can choose which section to sit in and we chose the main dining room which is gorgeous. It's classy, beautiful, and romantic. The atrium next door to it looked bright and inviting. I took a peek at the pink room which was a smaller, more intimate room that was super cute. For appetizers we had the caviar and potato soldier which was absolutely delicious!! My friend tried the scones and enjoyed it. I had the Croque Madame for my main and it was good! The wagyu pastrami was tasty and the portion was fairly big - I was stuffed afterwards. We also shared a side of the hash browns which were nice and crispy. I definitely want to come back for cocktails and to try out their dinner menu!

beautiful atmosphere, stunning, feels fancy, upscale, cutesy, you can dress up, order a few drinks. Restrooms are single stalled, dimly lit. The staffed is dressed nicely, it's giving sophisticated. Valet parking suggested, and they go off tips. Valet boys are fast too! So will definitely give them that. Marigold is by Goodnight hospitality and so is Rosie Cannonball and also March. Surprise they are all neighbors!! There's a place called Melrose super close by so, possibly a great cluster of places all in same proximity. Duck wellington is one of the most popular dishes, If your sharing between two people, its great, if your dining alone, you can very well finish that too! we got salad, bread with butter, liver with pistachios, frisee, duck Wellington, and oysters from Prince St Edward, all east coast oysters. For dessert a Chantilly in a cup (Summer Trifle) This wasn't the place for me, but I'm sure that they have seasonal menu, and there's certain things I am looking for but I know im being picky. Im looking for warm plates, warm bread, warm utensils. I didn't love the flavors, but I do see how others may. Key takeaways: European style, small plates and small portions (feeds 1-2 people) They have a non alcoholic welcome drink, that was divine Caviar service offered, and truffle upgrades Service was top notch. GET THE ICE CREAM! There's an ice cream cart!!! yay!

Really, really enjoyed our Sunday brunch here! The service was very friendly and fast. Our waitress was kind and funny and perfectly paced our food. The decor inside is so cute We had a reservation for 12pm on a Sunday and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. We started off with a dozen oysters and the beef tartare. Oysters were small to medium size and very flavorful. The beef tartare was great! The bread/English muffin that comes with it was so good, perfectly garlicky and a little crispy on the edges. I had the chicken Milanese as my main which was fried perfectly and the salad on top was the perfect balance. I tried my friends burger which was really well seasoned and the fries are skinny crunchy and delicious. For dessert, the sundae cart is a must!!! The strawberries and cream ice cream is to die for, and topped with that homemade cream?! *chef's kiss!* I will absolutely be returning here. I think it's a great location for a girlfriends' brunch. Can't wait to try them out for their tea service and dinner as well!

What a delightful little restaurant with surprisingly delicious food. Service was great. The restaurant was elegantly decorated in the French style. Jackets were required at this place. Very high brow. But the food was excellent and service was polite and cheerful.

The dip was flavorful and very smoky - the crackers it is served with were amazing. The aftertaste was tolerable, but a little fishy for me. The biscuits - I could write poems about them. I'd go back to eat baskets of just those biscuits. Highly recommend. My husband ordered the fried catfish platter - it was amazing. The catfish nuggets were crunchy and HOT (temperature), the fries were perfectly seasoned and the hush puppy was a crunch heard around the globe. Sadly, the shrimp and grits arrived to the table at room temp. The flavor was really good, but I was worried to mention the temp issue and have the kitchen nuke them in the microwave. The red beans and rice were similarly room temp and congealed. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely, the service was solid, and on a Tuesday evening we could have walked in and been seated quickly. Overall, it was a nice evening with our friends. Sometimes the company makes up for small disappointments.
