We love trying new brunch spots, and when we moved to the neighborhood last year, Our Brunch Spot did not disappointment! It has a rustic farmhouse feel. Menu is filled with a great selection of dishes for everyone. It's always popping there, with friendly staff and good food. Even when they are extremely busy, we've had great service. We've enjoyed brunch here many times, and have tried several different dishes, from chicken and waffles to a few of the skillets to some of the sweeter offerings... all have been delicious and satisfying. I read several of the reviews and decided to try this place. The menu is LARGE with a side for lunch and one for breakfast. I ordered chicken and waffles. The order came out in an appropriate amount of time. The waffles were not as warm as they should have been and the chicken was hot, fresh out of the fryer. I'd guess the waffles were prepared to wait for an order for waffles and they had to wait for the chicken. They both were very good with the chicken being tenderloins (slices of breast chicken). The service was prompt so all was good. If I am in the area again, I'll give them another shot. Try them. You will not regret it. read more

Terrible place, went in and was seated by Jean. She was awesome and prompt to seat us. Although the service was terrible 2 to 3 servers passed my table did not offer water nor took my order I sat there for 45 MINUTES and was seen several times, but gotten no service STILL. I asked Jean to let my server know I was seated, after an HOUR passed and no service my husband and I let ourselves out. Finally had the chance to visit Our Brunch Spot, and I'm glad I did! The board outside featured today's special as Pumpkin Pancakes, so that is what I decided on. They were delicious. Huge. Still have 3/4 of them in a To-go box for tomorrow's breakfast LOL. The reason for 4 stars has nothing to do with the quality of the food, or the wait staff, but simply that for the price of $11 it seems that a side of protein should have been included. I mean ELEVEN dollars for pancakes is a bit steep, but once I made up my mind I just didn't feel like changing it. Hubs got the Denver Omelet, Smoky grits, and white toast. All delicious, those grits will definitely be on my next order there, they were scrumptious! Service was horrible. I had undercooked eggs. The server said she would discount it and never did. When I asked her about it. She said she didn't know how to do that. I waited for a drink refill and asked for one and it never came. I will not be coming back here again. The place is not that busy this morning for her to be overwhelmed. This place is pretty good. My kids had the Mickey Mouse pancakes(really big) wife had the skillet which looked and tasted excellent! I had the good ole BLT! Everything seemed to be fresh and no complaints on the food side of things. There was a little bit of a wait which is expected at places that are hopping at prime times of the day but it was not too bad 15-20mins. The waitress staffed seemed to be a little behind or understaffed. I did like to see the fact that when someone is behind they work together as a team to get the job done which is rare at most restaurants. Just seemed like there was a lot of pressure on the waitress and other staff. I would definitely go again as long as they keep the quality of the food up which this visit was great! OBS is our new favorite breakfast place. The price points are great, the food is awesome and the service is always friendly and on point. I am fond of their corned beef hash (served with two eggs of your style choice) plus hashbrowns and sourdough toast. There are other options to the hasbrowns and toast, but I am a creature of habit and that is what I get every time. My daughter loves the "very berry crepes". My wife orders the chorizo omelet thing. Note that this is pretty popular with the locals, so there can be wait time on the weekend. read more

I went this Thursday with friends we were visiting from San Antonio. We had a horrible experience our server mixed up our order multiple times. We had to keep asking for things. All the tables were dirty, and my friend found an egg shell in her poached eggs. My Dr Pepper had a very funky taste had to send it back. The chicken fried steak was delicious and I got it with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and pancakes with powdered sugar (if you want it). The location has great service and is very clean. I'll get straight to the point before I get into detail, I think the customer service or the server could have been a lot better. The food was good, it was nothing extravagant or made them different from any other place when it came to an all American breakfast. The parking especially in the morning till about 12 noon it's gonna be very scarce, it's very hard to find a parking spot and you will have to drive around or wait till somebody gets out of one so you can park. Right when I walked in the hostess was very attentive, she greeted me, and told me that My party room was on the right. I was in a party room, it was actually more than meeting, and the server was just not very smart about asking us what we needed, she kept interrupting our instructor. I believe there is a time to ask nicely, instead of yelling or shouting at my instructor and she was standing talking to all of us who are sitting down. I will say that for a group of seven people the food came out quickly, and our drinks was always refilled. The all American was very delicious, again it wasn't anything different from IHOP or any other place. And the price was actually not that bad I believe it was 9.95 for a all American breakfast and you get a lot. The food is good. Precisely what you'd expect and 2/2 times I have not been disappointed. The service is a good as it can be with basically all restaurants still recovering from the pandemic. I have nothing negative to say about this place other than: They charge for soda refills. This is absurd. In the restaurant industry, sodas come delivered in what it known as a "BIB" which means "bag in box". That's literally what it is: a bag of Coke or any other soda's syrup, which is then mixed with a proprietary (Coke or Pepsi) mixing fountain, and the subsequent carbon dioxide system. It's a whole racket. The point: one of these BIB's costs around $75-80, and on average can make more than 1500 sodas. Do the math on that. I did it for you: at 77.5 (midpoint between 75 and 80), it comes down to $.05 per soda. This place charges $2.50 for each refill, so with two sodas totaling $5, I'm paying a 5000% markup on each soda. This is price gouging at it's finest, and you should demand free refills. Coffee costs significantly more than sodas, yet the refills are free? You'd think with all this extra money they're making from sodas would be put towards hiring more employees. Just my $.02, or $1.25 at this place. Edit: 5000% folks. Let that settle in. That's more than Exxon is gouging us, percentage wise. read more
