Have nothing but good things to say about our experience with this dealership over the last few days. Our son got into a car accident earlier in the month and when me and my husband considered replacing his car, I wanted to come here to look. Nelson was the first to greet us upon our arrival on Saturday. We explained the situation and that I was debating between me or my son getting a new car. He was patient and allowed us to test drive multiple cars and offered to bring a car with our desired specs from another dealership. Ended Saturday undecided and promised to let him know our decision on Sunday. We made the hour trip back on Sunday to purchase a K4 for our son. In passing I had mentioned I would love a new Telluride but was dealing with a lot of negative equity. Nelson asked for the chance to try to work a deal and I obliged, thinking it was a long shot. With the help of Tyler, a deal was made that I couldn't pass up. We left the dealership on Sunday with 2 new cars. Our son liked the K4 but was eager for more power so we returned on Wednesday and was able to work a deal to exchange that K4 for a turbo K4. The car had just arrived and hadn't gotten the state required inspection yet so they offered us a loaner to drive home for the night. The Telluride was my 3rd purchase from Ourisman Chantilly and my husband's first. When the need for a new car arises again we will be back and will ask for Nelson! I'm not sure why the vast difference in opinions but I can say my experience was fantastic. Even before we stepped foot inside, Nelson greeted us and in so doing made us feel welcomed and important. Nelson took his time to listen to what we wanted and our concerns. We were able to look at multiple cars and had the option to drive the ones we wanted. The process once we chose, was quick and we enjoyed it. Nelson recalled my wife's interest in the new Telluride, even though she had a 2022 model. Nelson took to trying to make a deal work, which would allow my wife to get into a new 2025 model and at a price she liked. We also purchased a K4, which at the time we wanted. A couple of days later, we decided we would prefer the turbo version. The staff made it possible for us to return and upgrade. the process took less than an hour. Well worth it. LOL so i swore off this dealership years ago and out of desperation and time I brought my car here for an alignment and mounting/balancing 2 tires. Arrived at 1:30pm. At 3pm I was told my car hasnt even been brought into the bay and wouldnt be brought in for another 30 minutes, plus the additional 2 hours it would take to do. Would have loved to have been told 2 hours ago but i get it no problem. I arranged for a ride and was told it would be ready at the end of the day and i would receive a call. 6:30pm no call, nothing. Decided to just go there and retrieve my car in whatever state it was in. The staff was scrambling and all looked lost. I received my car and the alignment was not done at all despite the $136 i paid for it. Seems a little suspect to me. Upon speaking to my car friends, turns out this dealership is known for its little sneaky business. Final lesson learned, save yourself and take the drive to Beyer Kia or literally anywhere else. where out of maybe 10 times or so, I've not once had ANY issue and all promised times are honored or you are notified in a timely manner. Just found out this dealer and Kia lied when they sold me my Niro PHEV last spring. They promised that the car would get around 30-33 miles per full charger. What they chose to hide is that this performance depends on the weather. In the cold, the car drops 25%. Apparently, this is well understood on various online forums which I just found. These people are total slime balls. I would give them zero stars if I could. They took advantage of my 87-year old mother when she brought her Kia Sportage in for service. The vehicle had less than a year remaining on the lease, about the length of time we expected her to continue driving. Because of a slick, preying salesperson, she walked out of the dealership with a new 3-year lease on a new Kia Soul, which increased her monthly car lease and insurance payments to unaffordable amounts. Six months later she had to give up driving and ended up losing over $10K when all was said and done in order to get out of the lease and dispose of the vehicle. Stay away from this dealership, they take advantage of elderly people, and have no conscience. read more

My only problem with submitting a review is how to not sound too effusive. My experience was better than five stars. The folks at the dealership were not just helpful, but nice. Not the salesman type of nice ... but the really trying to get a proper judgement of what they thought was best for me. It wasn't just the salesman, Cristian, or the finance chap, Scott, but the general manager, "mister big" (in stature ... both height and his position in the business) pitched in to offer legitimate options. Money is tight and they helped me figure out how best to save my money. Really. I checked it out. Meanwhile, the car turns out to be as nice as the experience. Even my wife likes it. It is a Kia Soul and perfect back storage for her wheelchair and plenty of safety features for the driver. So far absolutely no complaints. A first for me. read more

My wife had previously leased a Kia Sportage from this location and the sales woman was fantastic. However within a year the vehicle experienced some windshield trim/moulding separation from the A pillars. She scheduled a ln appointment and took it in. The service department evaluated the concern and verified the need to replace and ordered parts. When the parts did arrive they scheduled her for a Saturday and she arrived and waited an hour before being told the person who does these repairs is only available M-F. Finally her windshield ended up cracking and was approved as a warranty job. She took the vehicle in and mentioned the fact parts had been ordered from the previous visit and they reused the old broken parts. When brought up to service manager he stated he had to take a look at the car. Well ok go ahead. Other non hilarities ensued and they ended up offering her a rental for one day and a tank of gas. She countered with can they just offer a free oil change since her service was due. They said no. She escalated to the Service Director and got same response and when asked just for clarification was told thats all they will offer she escalated to the General Manager Billy Brown. What a pompous joke of a leader who doesn't know customer service and apparently he is ALWAYS right. When asked why the rental and not an oil change he replied with thats the only offer take it or leave it. Would not entertain giving a response or justification. When stated it would be escalated higher his arrogant response was go ahead I am part owner so it will only be kicked back to him. Further he stated he isn't going back and forth because the only issue is my wife didn't like his answer and he does not need to explain further. I strongly encourage any individual who is currently a government employee, military (I was), First Responder (I was) or educator to NOT spend your time or money with these folks or Ourisman Automotive Group. Plenty of other options out there that represent the same manufacturers and you will be treated better. read more

We got my car here 6 years ago and over the years I have always consistently brought my car here for service unless I was nowhere near the area and an emergency happened. Majority of the time it was never easy to get here but I made the trek to give them my business. Over the past two years my car has needed general service but they so often seem to be all bundled in one. You come in for windshield wipers and they call you to tell you that you need 4 tires replaced as well? I can't seem to come here anymore without needing a ridiculous expensive amount of work done. Most recent experiences that have annoyed me is when I popped a tire and called to see what they were pricing. Their tire was around 200$...while every other shop in town is half. Then I brought my car in as a break pedal part was on recall. 2 hours later thy fixed it but I was given a $1400 punchlist of items that were MUST fix items! I knew my breaks were nearing a time for a change but they literally scared me so much that I should not drive my car and I should immediately surrender it for service. I called a few shops in the area with the info the Kia service group told me and was immediately calmed down that my car could easily wait a few weeks and would still pass inspection. Oh and the price was 150$ less for brakes then Kia is quoting. Everyone says don't come to your dealership for service but I guess I just trusted them for too long. Also get ready to chill in the worlds dirtiest chairs for 3+ hours. I kid you not, the waiting room is dreary and dirty and I feel like I should wear a bubble inside. Also all they have food wise is donuts. Go to Costco and buy some snack packs, since your already gorging me for service. read more

Had $650 worth of maintenance done on my car a month ago. It's been acting weird ever since and takes 3-4 times for the engine to start. Had to jump it a couple of times. The car is only 15 months old. 2021 Kia Sorento. Dropped it off for them to look at it and wouldn't give me a loaner car, so had to spend $70 in Uber to pick up my kids. My family drove almost 4 hours one way to come to this Kia dealership for a specific SUV that we couldn't find any closer to home. We were met by Marcus, who dealt with our entire sale. He was professional and respectful. They have a kids playroom with a TV, movies, toys, books, chairs and a kids table. It was perfect because we had driven there with our 9 year old and one year old. We were able to hang out in the kids room and have almost all of the conversations and sale in there. I've had to bring my car in recently to get a couple of my speakers replaced while they're still under warranty. What I appreciated was that they diagnosed the second speaker needing replacement, without me knowing, and the fact that they actually told me about it while covering it under warranty. Usually one would expect the dealership to hide the fact, in hopes to not pay for the repair costs and expect the customer to inform them. Where I ran into an issue was them not getting back to me promptly letting me know that the part was ready to be installed. I had to keep calling them back and they'd say the service department was always busy. They'd say that a rep would call me back and no one would call back. Eventually I called and they said my part had come in, and yet no one had reached out to me, letting me know so. When it came time to drop off the car, I came there 2 hours before they closed and everyone seemed like they were dealing with a crisis. Basically I was suggested that it was a big issue trying to get me a loaner. I was okay with that as I really didn't need one till Monday for work. Come Monday morning, I was told that it is going to take 30 minutes to get me a loaner. A little heads up would have been nice, so I could have showed up 30 minutes earlier. read more

Hidden prices on the internet and fake USAA buying service offer to waste your valuable time coming in to see a vehicle heavily marked up with "dealer" profit scams. Unless actionable steps are taken by Ourisman KIA dealership's latest response is empty. Ourisman senior leadership should immediately look into this prolific attitude and behavior evidently practiced by many "managers". Like many others, I had a very positive experience with my sales person. He was helpful, hard-working and tried his best. Unfortunately, the dealership was very dishonest with their pricing online. They had a vehicle listed on their website - I called in to confirm the "price was the price" - cancelled several meetings to drive down mid-day only to be told after starting the paperwork that the price was actually $10K more than MSRP (even after rebates). I don't begrudge the dealership trying to maximize profits on their vehicles but the person I spoke with on the phone could have just said "just so you know, the price on the website doesn't reflect our market adjustment for high demand". Or something more human that says they are selling it for as much as people are willing to pay. She didn't and wasted several hours of my time. Telling me your company "doesn't know how to over-ride pricing on your website" is not a legitimate excuse. I would be very careful when working with this dealer - it is places like this that give dealerships the bad reputation many have had to work hard to repair. read more

If I could choose zero stars I would. I swore I would never use this service department again as I have had issues with my wife's car and service in the past. On this visit we take my sons 2023 Kia Sportage in for it's first oil change and its 7500 mile service. The appointment was at 7:30 am and was not ready until 3:30pm that day. After getting the car back we noticed the next morning that our driveway was stained with an oil slick after my son took the car out. Later that day my son came home and said the car's oil light came on along with the service light. The car would not go above 2.5 rpms while he was driving home. Its was the 4th so there was no one to contact. I checked the oil level and it was bone dry. The engine coolant was also about one inch below the minimum level, and the washer fluid had not been filled up. So basically for a 7500K service nothing was done and we were charged $197. Now I have had to have the car towed back to the dealership and after 4 hours we have not heard anything back. THIS DEALERSHIP IS A JOKE. Stay away and go to Leesburg, Fairfax, MD or anywhere but here. read more

The car loan was not paid off by the dealership until January 2019 which meant I had to make a car payment for a car I no longer owned in December. To date the dealership has refused to refund me the full amount of that December payment. Take your business elsewhere. I was very happy with the sales person, Tyler Martin, who met us at the front of the dealership and walked us through the entire process of purchasing my new 2019 Kia Optima. The only downfall in the process was the waiting period we experience we had for the finance person on that Sunday. I know they were very busy that day and this very well may have just been a fluke that they were just super bust that day compared to other Sundays.
