As we were looking over the menu, we were brought out two loaves of hot fresh baked bread and a delicious salted butter to slather on it...so yummy,we could barely keep our eyes on the menu, we just kept going back to the bread! We decided to try a couple different appetizers,' the Bloomin Shrimp" looked good,and we were not disappointed, a plate full of big thick shrimp in a light batter, served with a delicious dipping sauce that had a slight flavor of horseradish it was a salmon-colored tasty sauce that was absolutely delicious! Another appetizer we just had to try,(( because we heard so much about it)) was the,'Bloomin Onion" and that was delicious too, but I really enjoyed the shrimp so much more... I was pleasantly surprised at how big the shrimp were very delicious and juicy...I was impressed with the Bloomin shrimp platter,it is one of my favorites! Now on to the main event, we ordered a T-bone steak cooked medium, a fully loaded potato and a fully loaded potato soup...the steak was cooked to perfection (we sent our compliments to the chef!) The meat was tender and the char on the fatty edge was so,soooo tasty! The chef really knows how to grill a steak...not every place has a chef that does...we will be back for sure! And Steve,our waiter,he was great with suggestions, and with that,it brings us to a dessert, we decided to share...it was called,' Thunder chocolate mountain brownie" or summthin like that,there's a picture in my photos... the warm brownie was absolutely delicious with toasted walnuts in it,giving it an absolutely wonderful flavor,an absolutely amazing warm chocolate fudge sauce topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, a big swirl of whipped cream... atop that, last but not least,shaved chocolate curls on top...such a perfect ending to a perfect meal! This Arcadia location is pretty much the cookie cutter of expectation from all locations. When pulling into the parking situation and barely finding parking, I was like they are super busy. Walking in was a different situation and wasn't as busy. Wasn't sure if people just parked in there parking area and went to some other business. We waited around 25 mins to be seated and their was only one party ahead of us. I saw 4 open tables and assuming maybe they were short staffed. We got a drink at the bar which was pretty standard. Finally was seated and other than an awkward interaction with our waiter, he was very friendly. I ordered the prime rib, mac n cheese and brussels sprouts. Prime rib was perfectly cooked to a medium rare and seasoned to perfection. The mac n cheese was cheesy and savory just needed a hint of black pepper. I'm sorry Outback, very disappointing! I used to like Outback Steakhouse but not anymore. I haven't been to an Outback for ages. My friends and I decided to come on a Sunday. We arrived at around 6pm. There was one party ahead of us in the waiting area and we waited for about 10mins. When we walked into the dinning area and got seated, we saw plenty of opened tables. I don't know why we couldn't get seated in a timely manner? We ordered a blooming onion as appetizer. The onion was over-fried and too salty. We asked for another but it was still the same. We just gave up. The steaks were okay but not as flavorful as before. And I felt like the beef quality was not the same either. I'm sorry, but the best item throughout the dinner was the bread. We went to this outback last night for late dinner around 8:30pm The place was so crowded even though it was a thursday night. We ordered a blooming onion, outback style prime rib and a rib eye steak and asked for 2 cups of water and some lemon wedges. It took us over 20 mins to get our water and they never brought lemon wedges. Maybe they were understaffed..? The blooming onion took about 40 mins to come out. We started to devour it. We were so hungry. A little later, we noticed the blooming onion was so burnt that it tasted bitter. We talked to the sever and he said we were the 3rd customers who mentioned it. He was asking if we want to get a new one or take it off of the check. We decided give another try. The second blooming onion wasn't burnt, but the core part wasn't cooked enough. It seems like they used old and burnt oil to fry the onion.. It took over an hour to get our steaks. We asked the server to make sure the steaks are midium rare. No midum, No well done. The rib eye steak was a bit more rare than midium rare, but it was ok. I prefer this way than midium or well done. However, the prime rib was totally well done. We talked about it to the server. We wanted to make sure to get it midium rare. Later on, the manager came and said they don't have more meat for prime rib. Also, the manager said the server should've informed us midium rare prime ribs were not available when we ordered it since it was almost closing time. So, they took it off of the check and let us have the prime rib anyways. After waiting over an hour for the food, we were so hungry. I wasn't feeling good just taking the food, but we were too hungry at the moment. I think they should change the frying oil often. They have so many fried items.. Or don't get the orders for frying food too late..? Even though they gave us prime rib for free, the entire experience wasn't great.. Maybe we shouldn't come to outback after 8:30..? Is it too late to come here to have dinner..? The steaks came out around 10pm we waited about 1 hour and a half to get it and it was their closing time. They were cleaning up while we were eating, so we couldn't even eat comfortably, so we couldn't finished all our food and took them to go.. Every time I go here I say it will be my last. This time it is. I keep giving it another try thinking something will change and it doesn't. The food has gone so downhill and so inconsistent. How can a steakhouse not get a steak right every time! I ordered the 3" baseball cut filet medium rare that came out raw. Went I sent it back to cook, it came back 1/2 inch thick, well done and burnt. They tried a new steak, same thing. Not what I ordered. I took it home to go and that's not what I went there for. My bill was $100.00 for one person. I should have just left the full steak I did not eat and pay for my sides only. Lesson learned It is obvious why they no longer have the business they use to. I think giving two stars is generous but I honestly liked our server cause he was actually nice so only reason why I give them 2 stars We got the blooming onion, filet with broccoli and fries, and sirloin/bbq shrimp with mashed potatoes and Cesar salad. Also got the margarita flight. Bloomin onion was BEYOND salty for our taste buds. We didn't finish half the bloomin onion because it became inedible as we ate more of it. Steaks were okay and actually cooked to what we asked for. Everything else was just MEH. I think my favorite thing was the margaritas haha I'm not sure if it was coincidence or not but like.... We were sat in the BACK of the restaurant despite plenty of booths in the front of the restaurant. Then I noticed basically anyone who was Asian sat towards the back of the restaurant and everyone of all other nationalities were in the front booths and tables, near the bar, etc. also. I overheard an older gentlemen MOVING BOOTHS because he didn't want to sit near (something) not sure exactly but I just found it super weird and uncomfortable. Sometimes I think "oh it's the rotation for servers" but by the looks of the restaurant I'm not sure if that was the case... idk coincidence or not but it was quite fishy to me and for me to NOTICE TOO... was enough for me to think it was weird. Who knows.. just a a weird vibe for sure ALSO because we sat in the wayyyyyy back everyone who walked through the back doors ...our ENTIRE booth would shake and it was extremely disruptive to our dinner. It was over all a pretty unpleasant dinner and for what we paid for which was $90 we can easily spend that money elsewhere with better service, food, and comfort. Outback is a consistent place for me to get my money's worth for some steak. I came with a friend and we both left really satisfied. I love the ambience in here - the lighting is dim and is a perfect for a date night or to grab some drinks at the bar with friends. My server was Miguel and he was attentive and helpful. He brought us everything we needed and even brought extra bread while we we were waiting for our food. Make sure to check in on yelp for a FREE bloomin onion. It's just like onion rings but is cut up like cool flower. Perfect amount of crunch but also really greasy. Comes with a chipotle mayo dipping sauce and was waaaay too big for my friend and I to finish! I ordered the 6 ounce sirloin set that comes with a potato and side. I opted for the loaded baked potato with bacon, chives, cheese, and sour cream. It's salt-crusted on the skin which makes the skin delicious too. For the side I chose the chicken tortilla soup which is honestly the best tortilla soup I've had!! I hate watery soup but this tortilla soup was thick, savory, and had cheese melted on top! I ordered my steak medium rare and to my surprise... I actually got it medium rare! Cooking steak medium rare seems to be difficult for some steak places, but not for Outback. Waitress was very nice etc, I was hungry so I ordered their flagship Steak & Lobster. ($42.99) So they brought me a one (1) bite lobster tail for that price. I couldn't do it. I called the manager just to confirm this was normal, and she confirmed it, because I felt like I was on a hidden camera show. I have had shrimp larger then this. I have not been to Outback for a few years. What a pleasant surprise to see all the changes and new items in the menu. They added a lot of non steak dishes for non steak eating customers. And i think that it's definitely a smart way. Do check in with yelp, you will get a complimentary blooming onion for free ($9)!! We got the surf and turf and New York steak tonight. Medium rare is cooked exactly medium rare now (they used to over cook a little bit). The 5oz surf and turf cam picked from grilled shrimp or coconut shrimp. I love the coconut shrimp, it has 4 shrimp in total, good size and cook nicely. They come with two sides and only $20. A very reasonable price for a steak house. Service is always nice and attentive. Not too crowded for a Saturday night. Will definitely come back more often. read more

We were a group of 20 people and visited the Arcadia Outback last Thursday noontime. We were expecting a great meal but were somewhat disappointed. The service was slow but no fault to our ONE server. She did a great job but clearly she needed help as every step from ordering to receiving the food took incredibly long. I even praised her for doing a good job and she replied that we were her first large group. Note that the restaurant was hardly crowded and there were at least two other servers who could have helped out. That withstanding, the bread, blooming onion, drinks and salads were up to Outback's usual standards. Unfortunately at least two of us had bad steaks. Both arrived cooked to "well fineness". They ordered medium rare. So of course the meat was tougher than expected. One of the overcooked steaks was 1/3 grizzle and was in a pile at the end of the meal. I had not visited an Outback restaurant in many years and it will be many, many years (maybe when I lose my memory) if ever that I return to one. First off I always love going to The Outback. This time was a bit disappointing for me but not my kids. I figured that we we come here when the wife was away on business. My oldest had a steak and it was cooked perfectly! A+ goes to the grill master. My sons kids meal was like anywhere else, nothing special. Now I had the ribs, and I had to get the big portion but next time I'll know better. These ribs were dry and I mean dry. Other then that my experience was ok. Nothing to brag about. I'm not going to say to much because it's a chain and most know how these places are. I'm leaving a few photos of the food. Oh I about forgot, the Mac and Cheese was EXCELLENT!!! Made with smoked Gouda. I was surprised when my son ate it because he's so picky. That's another A+. The server Danielle also gets an A+. Over all a 4 star. Seriously, Outback....what is going on with you?? So hit and miss...mostly miss lately. This was one of our favorite places to go for lunch/dinner...unfortunately no more. Miguel and the manager Jamiee are great, and that would be the only reason I would visit. We ordered soup, got the famous bread and water. Waited a while, no soup. Stopped our waitress who said "It didn't come out yet....?" We got our soup and it was lukewarm/cold. My dad had to ask to have it warmed it. Ordering a $30 dollar steak dinner, the quality should have been better. My steak (I ordered medium rare) was TERRIBLE. It was the smallest piece of meat I have ever seen. I took 3 bites, and one of those bites I spit out because I kept chewing it and it wouldn't dissolve. So gross. The lobster Mac and Cheese had dried out lobster on top, which I also did not finish. I hate to say but I felt nauseous a little while after eating this. We had not come here for a while, because of the food quality, along with the service from some of the staff, so we decided to give it a second chance after several months. We love Outback! Great service! Great food! It's special to us. We dine here often with the in laws. I always order the 6 oz Victoria filet with a baked potato and my husband orders the same except he gets the 9 oz. My sister law loves the bloomin burger. She says is so good!! My mother in law loves the Blue Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad. It was especially busy yesterday but we always get great service. The staff are so professional, personable and hard working. It's Outback Steakhouse. It is what it is. Not real Australian food, like how Olive Garden isn't real italian food. The bloomin onion was a tad overdone and the bloomin chicken came out looking so plain with no drizzle on top as pictured on the menu, even the onion petals on top in the picture were added by my husband from his plate, not the kitchen. But it still tasted good and reheated well the next day for a leftovers chicken sandwich. The caesar salad was heavy on the dressing but the potato soup and my husband's burger were delicious. read more

So I see that I reviewed Outback Arcadia in 2015 and guess what? the service improved but the steak looked like a piece of dog poo that someone stepped on and it was so hard and well done that I could have thrown at someone and killed them! Went for lunch with a friend. We weren't sure it was open when we pulled into the parking lot around 1145, but when we walked inside, there was about three tables with people. We were seated right away by a super friendly server, who also took our order. We both decided on a salad, I chose the chopped Cobb salad and she chose the steakhouse salad. I totally forgot to take photos. The chopped Cobb salad came with either a crispy chicken or grilled chicken, I chose the crispy. Her salad came with of course steak and she asked for it medium rare. Both salads were a good portion. In fact, we both took half of ours home. I also ordered French onion soup, which came in a crock and I ended up taking some of that home as well. The soup was absolutely wonderful. The salad that I had had a tad spice to it and I think it's in the ranch dressing but otherwise it was delicious. She said hers was very good but the steak was a little chewy. So she said she should've ordered medium on that. Our server was great, she was very attentive and super friendly. FORMER OUTBACK EMPLOYEE REVIEW! Was sat right away which was great. Then our server came, and that is where it went downhill. I asked for a Wallaby Darned (Outbacks signature drink) and she said "A what" - and I repeated myself and she said..."Um we dont have that." She also told my boyfriend that he was not allowed to order whiskey alone. That it HAD to be mixed in a drink. After she took our alternative drink order, he found the Wallaby Darned right there on the menu. So I went to host stand to help me to see if we could change my order to a Wallaby Darned and she said "Whats that? - at this point I am shocked that TWO Outback employees do not know the signature drink of the restaurant. I said nevermind and headed straight to the bartender who was shocked and said she would make the drink immediately and have it sent over. Once the waitress came back and delivered my drink - she old me that she did not know because she isn't 21. ....................................but you are a server. This is Outback and you are serving alcohol. Which means you should know the basics - and certainly the signature items exclusive to Outback. ***Cannot complain about the food. It was excellent. My wife and I loved coming to this Outback, maybe twice a month, but last night 9/29/22 wasn't the best. Restaurant was pretty empty when we got there. But we were sitting for a couple minutes before we were finally greeted. Our server was okay... He kept calling my wife and I "Boss" when speaking to us, it was strange and annoying. Even when he greeted us..I could tell he was definitely weeded and struggling, and had way to many tables at one point to be give actual quality service. I had to ask him for honey butter on three different occasions for our bread. I ordered steak cooked medium as I usually do and to be a little different I got rice and veggies vs the Cesar salad and sweet baked potato I normally get. My steak came out almost rare, it was disgusting. When I mentioned it to the runner, our server was standing behind her and heard me complain. The runner takes my steak and throws it back on the burner and brings it back and it's still super red. I just accept it cause my wife and I are over this whole experience at this point. The server never even came back to check on us, probably way too busy or shamed from the mistake. The sides were super cold as well. My wife just ordered the baked potato soup and that even got sent back cause it was way too salty! I didn't even take any leftovers home... and that's normal when we go to Outback. I still gave the server 20% cause grace is important and he didn't cook our food. But this'll be our last visit to Outback for awhile unfortunately. Love-hate relationship with this Outback Steakhouse. When it's good it's actually a 5 star due to the flavorings and value. Of note: Australian prime rib. It is flavored sooo well. Have to get the Bloomin Onion - onion rings on beautiful steroids. Service is often great--one of the last bastions to care about customer service. But when it is bad it is SO BAD. Last night was one of those nights. Mind you I think it is because they just get so busy that the entire staff is so taxed it comes up short on every level. Our server (poor soul) was late and very stressed. All of the food came out piecemeal with dinner for some of our party coming out a good 30 minutes after some of the entrees were served. We didn't get our yummy sauces also until 25 minutes in resulting in me only getting 2 bites with sauce. It was a total disaster. Strange outdoor electrical timing as their signage was not lit and was told it lights up at 8:30pm or so. So, if you drove by it looked like the place was either closed or had a power outage. You should adjust the timer people. Anyways, the restaurant was fairly full believe it or not, but I don't know why as the food that was ordered was too salty. Their rice side dish was too salty, and their steaks were very oily. For the price you pay, it's not worth it to be honest. The only good thing was the server was very attentive and nice. Professional but leisure. Didn't rush us. That guy should get a job at a higher end restaurant as with his skills, he would get tipped even higher. They also gave us tiny shrimp on the combo with the steak and they were just like I mentioned.... tiny. My pinky is bigger. :) They also tried to create garlic bread using the brown bread they give you at the beginning of your meal BUT yawls don't understand that the brown bread you serve is sweet and it clashes with the salty garlic and butter when it is toasted, you should stick with at least a small French bread slice. Your brown bread we know is mimicked after the Cheesecake Factory's brown bread but it's not quite the same. Stick with white bread instead. If you're planning on dining here, I would suggest you take your high blood pressure meds as the food is all around salty. Won't be dining at Outback ever again. Your company is owned by a big conglomerate and so you should have good Corp. Chefs to redo your menu. Give it a try is what I suggest. Can't hurt believe me...... read more

Service was horrible. They seated someone right away after we were waiting, along with multiple other guest, for more than 20 minutes. This is the second time in the last three years that we tried this establishment to disappointment. No silverware until after all the food was on the table. When we cut into the steak, we ordered a medium rare, and it was raw. The drink was horrible.
