Good place to have a lunch , steaks are ok for the price ! I would come back for more

Came on a Saturday night and the place was full. Glad they offer reservations. Food was great and got to our table fast. Not sure why this place got 3 stars. Place was clean and comfortable.

We came just after 1:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and we had to wait for 30 minutes for a table. However the restaurant was half empty with plenty of open tables. I assume they were just understaffed but the host made no mention of why we needed to wait so long. Anyhow, we ordered pretty quickly as we needed to be somewhere soon - everyone came to try the steak, but two members, after reviewing the menu, just decided to try appetizers rather than ordering entrees. We ordered the chili, Mac and cheese, 2 NY combos, and a sirloin combo. They were all cooked to medium when we all asked for medium rare. We were not impressed. If you read my reviews, you know I am critical of salty over seasoned food - ironically this was the opposite- totally underseasoned. In fact, all the members who ordered steak spent just as much time putting salt and pepper on their food as they did eating. The sirloin was ok, the NY was better. The chili tasted canned and the Mac and cheese was not very cheesy. Overall, a mediocre meal at best. Presentation was dull - - but the fries were good. Regardless, if you don't know how to make a steak and you are in the area and want steak, this might be the place. I'm just going to go back to buying Costco prime NY and using the grill or my trusty Lodge cast iron pan.

We had a great time at this Outback Steakhouse. Parking is easy and free. It is in a very nice location and it is spotless inside and out. We just loved it. The place is comfortable and it is super cute. You will love the service. They really go out of their way to make sure you have all you need. The staff is nice and you don't feel rushed there. It is just a really calming place to be. The food we had was excellent. All our steaks were cooked perfectly and they were very good. We love the sides. Their onion rings are super and we love their mashed potatoes. They also have wonderful salads and some nice vegetables to go with your meal. Their desserts are great. We will be back whenever we are in the area.

Outback Steakhouse in Arcadia is one of my favorite places to go when I'm craving prime rib but don't want to drive all the way to Lawry's. Unfortunately, the past few times I've gone to this location, they were either completely out of prime rib or they only have well done available. Service is always top notch here. I love their warm bread & creamy butter (I always asks for seconds), and their chicken wings - it is SO yummy! Definitely will keep coming back!

I've been to this Outback location many times! The service is always great, however it can be slow at times when it gets busy. Another pet peeve I have is that the seats are way too cramped and tight. Despite that, Outback is always on my go-to list whenever I'm back in Arcadia. I always order the bloomin onion, and usually it's undercooked, batter falls off, or the sauce is too bitter. However this time, it was perfect! I also ordered the bloomin burger and was surprised how juicy it was! Finally, I ordered the platypus punch (alcoholic) and the puggle splash, which comes with a platypus toy and an egg container. I would say the splash was like a lemonade but had lots of syrup. The platypus punch could have used more alcohol but was still delicious. Nonetheless, I look forward to my next time at outback!

Came here to celebrate my co workers 60th birthday of a party of 9 earlier today. There is plenty of parking. When you enter you are immediately greeted. I ordered off the Aussie 3 Course Meal which consists of a soup or salad, a choice from a selection of the of entrées, and a slice of the New York style cheesecake. So I got the: - Baked Potato Soup - The Bloomin' Burger - New York Style Cheesecake - Plain Drink: Strawberry Kiwi Margarita The drink was very delightful. The baked potato was decent. The consistency and a bit too thick for soup. The burger was decent as well, nothing too significant about it. Tasted a bit bland. The service was great! I was very appreciative of the staff checking up on our table constantly so that was a plus. I will say, the to go paper bags smell terrible FYI. It's a great place to have gatherings at, I will say. My co workers and I did enjoy ourselves.

I definitely have mixed feelings about my visit to this Outback. There was plenty of parking at 6:30pm mid week, and only a handful of other diners. That being said, it took quite awhile for anyone to acknowledge us, let alone seat us. I saw several staff members hanging out in the bar area chatting with the host stand clearly visible. Besides us, there was a party of six people waiting. It was pretty loud and obvious that people were waiting for help! Once we were seated, service was overall slow and generally unpleasant. Staff seemed tired, and annoyed to have customers. The steak was well cooked. Overall, I'd give this outback 4* for the food, but 0* for the service. I hope the kitchen staff is paid well!

The restaurant has a parking lot. Easy parking. We tried the chicken for the kid meal and the sirloin + ribs combo for an entree. Comes with 2 sides and got baked potato with everything and seasonal veggies which was broccoli. The steak was OK but the ribs were superb. Good value for its taste and portions. Did have to wait to be seated and took awhile for the check. Overall fairly good experience. Family friendly. Gives kids crayons and coloring sheet.

There's a good amount of parking at this location but can get busy. I've seen cars bail from a packed parking lot and a crowd of people waiting outside. There's loads of seating, mostly booths. During the middle of the week it's quite chill. Although it took a long while before anyone gave us a table. At least afterwards the service was quick. We ordered and got food in good time. There's also a tablet device to pay at the table which is always great. The bread and butter is just okay. It's a wheat bread that isn't warm or crispy. It's easily skippable. The sirloin at medium rare is fairly good. It's decently season. The Alice Spring chicken was tasty. I'd wish the beacon was crispy but might be a personal preference. The chicken was actually quite moist and juicy. The season rice had a good taste, wasn't bland. Mashed potatoes are simply mashed potatoes. Overall it's a good place for a more budget steak plus for family meal or special occasions.

I haven't been to Outback in years, and my recent visit was just okay. We came during peak dinner hours on a Saturday night, so the restaurant was packed and the whole experience felt a bit rushed. Fortunately, we only waited for around 10-15 minutes for a party of 2 at around 6 PM. Parking: Outback has its own parking lot, but it was almost full when we arrived, we were lucky to find a spot as someone was leaving. Service: Service was really rushed, our server was juggling multiple tables and often sped past us, making it hard to get their attention. Our waiter forgot our utensil and we had to wait to ask when they were nearby. Food: The food was average. I came specifically to try the Bloomin' Onion. I'd give it a 3/5 - it had a strong onion flavor with a batter that falls apart when you pull it. Worth trying it once- I recommend trying it with a side of ranch. Outback offers a wide variety of steaks, but unfortunately, that variety might be affecting quality. The prime rib I ordered was underwhelming. I'd give it a 2/5- more of a standard cut of meat than anything special. I preferred the ribeye over the prime rib, but they still both tasted just ok. One dish I really enjoyed was their potato soup side dish 4/5- would recommend if you enjoy a baked potato in a creamy soup form with a ton of cheese. Overall, Outback is worth a visit if you're around the area and want to eat at a chain diner. I wish their cut of meat can be more flavorful and may come back when they're not as busy.

There are 2 other North Woods Inn locations (Covina and La Mirada), one Steak 'N Stein (Pico Rivera) and one Clearman's Galley, also here in San Gabriel, aka "The Boat" for its signature red boat exterior. There used to be a Steak 'N Stein in San Gabriel as well, but now it's just a larger North Woods. The Galley has relocated and been enlarged a few feet south of its original spot; it's now akin to a sports bar, but kids are welcome. Both restaurants are on Rosemead just south of Huntington. A a child I was entranced by North Woods Inn's signature snow-topped roof. The exterior and interior are styled as a winter mountain log cabin hunting lodge. The interior is filled with lodge tchotchkes like taxidermied bears, mounted elk heads, stained glass windows of wintry scenes. The floor is strewn with sawdust and peanut shells you are encouraged to throw there. The dining room is on the dark side and has a full bar. There are several large banquet rooms beyond the restrooms. We came for the DineLA lunch. Note the restaurant has 2 entrances, the host stand is located inside the north entrance; look for the snow-topped entry arch and the Christmas pine trees on the doors. The main menu sits on each table on an easel. Every table gets a bowl of peanuts. The DineLA menu has 3 courses, all with options, at both lunch and dinner, with fancier options on the pricier dinner menu. Any beverages are extra. Here's what we ordered: 1) Beer-battered zucchini sticks. Ordered a la carte. Decent zucchini, but a smallish portion. The blue cheese dressing served alongside did not have strong blue cheese flavour. 2) Starter. Options were salads (house and red cabbage) or soup, plus cheese bread. The cabbage salad had a decent vinaigrette, the house salad's house dressing was rather bland, ranch-like I suppose. The clam chowder was okay, more potatoes than clams. There was another soup option I don't recall. The cheese bread was very good. 3) Entree. Options were petite steak and shrimp, petite filet mignon or jumbo coconut shrimp. We had the first two. The petite steak was a top sirloin, decently grilled with properly hatched grill marks. The 3 shrimp were supposedly grilled, served with drawn butter and lemon. The petite filet was indeed petite. We both opted for the baked potato side, with cheese butter. Large and pretty tasty. Other carb options were rice pilaf or steak fries. 4) Dessert. Key Lime Pie Tart or Chocolate Mousse Cake. The tart came wrapped in paper like a muffin, nicely tart with a bit of an aftertaste. Service was nice and attentive. Overall a decent meal, good value with DineLA. I'd call this a mid-level steakhouse, probably better than Outback but lesser than The Derby, Fleming's or Ruth's Chris.

The burger was excellent. The cheese, carmelized onions, and arugula was a great flavor combo. The fries were good, but I'd order them more crispy next time. She had the two taco plate with fish and potato tacos ($15). The taco shells were freshly fried, and it was a filling plate that she enjoyed. We had one more round of drinks and I had the Billionaire cocktail (Old Forrester 100 proof bourbon, lemon, house made grenadine, absinthe, $16). This was excellent. It was very balanced, and not boozy at all with a very light sweetness. Her second was the Smoke and Fire (Peloton de la Muerte mezcal, Ancho Reyes liqueur, muddled jalapeno & orange, fresh lime, agave, chili salt, $15). It was pretty well balanced with a medium smokiness. It definitely had a kick of heat on the finish. Our server Lakyn was friendly and provided good service. The menu prices are cash prices. There is an extra 3.5% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was mostly a miss, but everything else was very good so I'm rounding up to five stars. They have a very good sized cocktail and food menu, as well as many beers on tap. They also have happy hour specials. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Breakfast burrito was delicious. Ordered it without the beans but so good with that spicy ranch sauce.

We decided to try Nick's for lunch to celebrate my birthday. OMG!!!!…read moreWhat a great place to dine. We had a reservation so we were seated right away on the second floor, just above the bar. The music was a little on the loud side so conversation was a little strained. The food was absolutely amazing. Our server was very friendly and informative but was not quite as attentive as we would expect for an establishment like this. This was our first time here, so we had to try the Asparagus Fries. The asparagus was cooked to perfection but the batter did not have much flavor. Members of our party ordered the California Salad, a Veggie Burger, the Meatloaf and a Picante Pizza. The California Salad was smaller than expected but delicious. The Veggie Burger was excellent! The Meatloaf was the hit of the table. It was so good that my wife did not offer a taste to any of us. She was in food Heaven. The pizza was exactly as described and tasted wonderful. Since we were celebrating my birthday, our server brought me a delicious piece of double chocolate cake with a candle in it. Nice touch!! We also had one of their Warm Butter Cake's with some excellent vanilla ice cream on top. Absolutely wonderful!. This may be our new "go-to" place. Looking forward to return to savor the other items on the menu. Their drinks looked delicious as well, so we will definitely try those too.
