Excellent food, excellent service. I came in busy Saturday night and the service by Taylor was still very prompt and accurate!

We ordered a filet mignon each. One six oz and one eight oz. What we got was NOT a filet mignon. Both were tough. Especially mine. Don't know what part of the cow it came from but it was not the filet mignon tenderloin. Daughter and Granddaughter had chicken and shrimp pasta. To me the chicken was dry. Daughter complained that hers was saturated in sauce while GD's was dry. The bread they serve was not offered after the first one. WILL NOT GO BACK AND I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING there since I believe they don't know what a filet mignon is. read more

Went to Applebees first. I was hoping to get a Sam Adam's Octoberfest beer. They didn't have it so I decided to head to Outback at the pinnacle. Nope, they didn't have it either. Was told they ran out and wouldn't be restocking it, so I ordered a Sam lager. Ordered a crock of French onion soup...pretty good but a little too salty. I also ordered a wedge salad with no onions, because when I got it before it was loaded with onions. Before the bartender brought out the salad, he showed the kitchen "no onions" so they had to remade it, but for some very odd reason, whoever made it, loaded it with salt. What's up with that? Whoever is making the salads should probably be trained how to read a slip before just randomly making something. There is salt and pepper grinders at the bar and on the tables, so it's absolutely ridiculous that they would choose to put salt on it to begin with...a ridiculous amount of salt. The bartender, Jeremiah, who was good, asked how everything was and I let him know I couldn't eat the salad. He apologized and a manager came out to check on things and I explained that I have dined here many times and ordered this salad several times before and it never had salt on it. He said something to the effect that it's been prepared this way for a while but was happy to have them make another one or remove it from the bill. I chose to not get another salad. Came here for Father's Day. We don't usually sit at the bar but they offered a free Bloomin' Onion for sitting at the bar I had grilled shrimp, husband had sirloin and we shared. I felt like I was being held hostage! Family of 3 tried to grab a quick bite turns into an 1.5 hour wait fest.. I assume they are trying to be more "efficient" by having runners run EVERYTHING...from drinks,bread,salads,etc... but this in turn had servers just standing around. They could easily gotten our drinks and whatever else much much faster. I can see having additional food runners but having to wait on a runner for everything was ridiculous. By the time we got chicken and a pasta we were 3 loaves of bread full and ready for a box. read more

Just spent $53 through DoorDash (food + tip), on green ahi tuna and apparently there's a butter famine? There was literally one teaspoon of butter in the container. Requested steak sauce...and an extra container of soy ginger...didn't get any at all. The kitchen manager guy was nice when I called and emailed pictures of the tuna...which by the way...I took a bite (in my dark living room) and it was weird...so I went into the light in my kitchen...and wow. It was iridescent green. So here's hoping I don't get food poisoning. I'm not being overly dramatic...but that tuna was really green. Usually the food is really good. Ok....i think I'm realizing why this place only has a 2 1/2 star rating. We went last night and sat at the bar. AJ was working and she is always pleasant so no real complaints there. Onto the food. I ordered the Kingsland pasta which comes with 6 shrimp and 4 pieces of some kind of very cheap, chewy, well done steak. The meal looked nothing like it does on the menu picture. Ordered the steak medium rare....it was beyond well done and it was awful...think fatty shoe leather. One of the shrimp was a little cold too. Sent it back and ordered the toowoomba salmon which I usually get when we go there. It was ok. Partner ordered a side Caesar salad and a crock of chili. The crock of chili was about half full. Kind of ridiculous. The drinks are reasonably priced and the service is usually good, but I'm not sure we will be dining there again. Outback is a steakhouse....no excuse for what was a sorry excuse for steak served with the kingsland pasta. The manager was nice and removed the dish from the bill...but someone who works there needs to address the issues with poor food prepared by the kitchen. read more

Looking forward to a good state however state was not that great. The service was wonderful and everyone was very cordial and professional.

There are not a ton of nice restaurants in Bristol. With that said... I've never had a bad meal at the Outback! The service is fast and friendly, management is great, the food is consistently delicious. My husband and I eat there all the time, I especially recommend the French Onion Soup, I nearly always order the petit filet with a loaded baked potato and a Caesar Salad. I'm a bit of a food snob so it bothers me that my favorite restaurant in town is a chain, but let's give credit where credit is due! Their food is always delicious. The place is always clean The servers are always nice and bonus points for being affordable! PS I cannot get enough of their freshly baked bread and butter. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews check my history. The front of house staff was nice and tried But the kitchen was incredibly slow and while it was 9pm so I get it but both our prime ribs were cold. Not warm like refrigerator cold which we know is a health issue when alerted the manager apologized and of course they through them in the flat top instant ribeye bye bye prime rib. And the plates had no aus juice so quality control is non existent. Again front of house was nice and kind. But send back the trainers. Salad was great. Please improve!! read more

Terrible experience....waited 55 minutes for salads, an hour and 25 minutes for food. Several groups of people came in after us and they ate and left before we ever got food. Manager tried to say we only waited 25 minutes for our food. She would NOT Allow waiter (if you want to call him that) to speak. He knew how long we waited. Maybe she hadn't set her clock forward with time change to think we only waited 25 minutes. Regardless, terrible experience. Outback used to be nice place with good food......now It's just terrible all the way around....service and food! Guess waiter forgot to turn our order in....but he wasn't allowed to tell the facts....instead manager was firm I was lying.....terrible waiter, terrible manager and terrible food.....I'll never go back and after 2 hours left without eating our meals.....terrible isn't a harsh enough word. This was the first time going to this Outback.. I'm in town seeing family and we went here for lunch. They where very busy but got us seated within 15 minutes and our server was right there as soon as we sat down. I ordered a 6 ounce sirloin and a Caesar salad. My wife and I went to this Outback (at the Pinnacle) for dinner. Let me first say this was, without a doubt, the worst meal I have had in the 16 years we have lived in N.E. Tennessee. It was not particularly busy and we were able to get a booth, as we requested. The waitress was a pleasant young lady and took our order. My wife got fried chicken breast with soup and a baked potato. I ordered a small (6 oz) steak with 6 grilled shrimp, also with soup and a potato. We ate our soup and then waited for an abnormally long time. When they finally brought our meals, the manager said the chicken had been overcooked, so they remade it. Unfortunately, I think my food had sat out getting cold while they remade my wife's dinner. My wife said her chicken was good. But my steak (ordered medium) was very dry, room temperature and tough as shoe leather. I could hardly cut it and chewing it was a challenge. I ate less than half of it. My wife tried to cut it and couldn't get through it. My shrimp was burned and cold. The baked potato was also room temp. There are too many good places in the area to waste another $60 here. read more

Honestly, the food was just "ok". I ordered my steak medium and my companion ordered medium rare. My steak was far less cooked than his. Sides were all ok. A third at our table ordered a steak salad, and it came out without the steak. It was close to closing and I'm not sure if everyone was "checked out" or what. We could hear them all goofing off back in the kitchen, which probably explains some of our dinner issues. Our waiter was very friendly, so I will give them that. Ok... here is where you go to a restaurant and the server makes the visit even though the kitchen staff and management do NOTHING to make your stay enjoyable. Specific on steak being medium WELL came back less cooked than the other that was Med rare. The onions that were supposed to be carmelized were basically warmed and Sarah caught it as the bus boy put it on the table asking if she can return them to be cooked more because she didn't get to see them as they were trayed to come out. GOOD SERVER! The steak issue? Manager did come at our request (not when she told him)- he didn't offer anything (discount/dessert/drink, etc)- we didn't want anything but his job would have been to OFFER... his cook/chef in a steakhouse should be able to temp a steak and sauté onions. Sarah apologized and thanked us for being so understanding and not being upset with her... SHE was on top of EVERYTHING!!! A complete pleasure! Smart girl- customer focused and establishment loyal.... you are lucky to have HER!!!! The manager? On his cell phone at the bar....... we waited on the bartender because they were "talking" and Sarah needed to interrupt to get service... priorities? Yes- we watched her struggle with your veteran staff because they were busy chatting or phones. She said they were busy- we could see what they were doing... and we both have worked food service. I called my order in over the phone. I was just going to come in and get my order. I had not done curbside here before. I was ask the color of my car and was told they would bring it out to me. Soo I get there.. the sign says. do not come in, we will come to you. ok. soo I sat there. there was no number to text saying I was here. 3 other cars pull up. someone brings their food out to them and they leave. The lady comes to my car and ask for my name. Soo I'm thinking finally she will get my order out. I spent my whole hour lunch waiting. I finally had to call i inside and they said she is bagging it up now. I literally sat in my car for 45 minutes. We evacuated from the hurricane in Florida to Bristol. We had lunch here today. This is the largest Outback I've seen. I have eaten at many around the country, and hands down, this was the best I've ever had. From the minute we walked in the door and were greeted by the hostess, the service was impeccable. Our server, Stephanie didn't miss a thing, didn't forget anything, and went out of her way to be polite and pleasing. Honestly, I'd have to say she is absolutely the best server I've ever had! I eat out very often (at least 5 nights a week) at many different restaurants, and I've just never had service so superb! I was joking with my family that she should start a "server school" because she could teach some other servers how to be so fabulous!! The food started with the bread, the appetizer, the salad, and the main course and all of it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Most times that I order the bloomin onion, its either slightly burnt or not cooked enough. This one couldn't have been more tasty. It was cooked just right. Our steaks were cooked exactly as we asked them to be. I think this is one of the few times I haven't had to send it back. We never had to ask for anything because Stephanie had already thought about it. We didn't even have to ask for refills because she was at our table with fresh drinks before our glass was empty. One pet peeve of mine is to have to ask for a refill after my glass is empty and then have to wait for it. She did not disappoint! Even when we asked for to go boxes, she brought them with a to go portion of sauces... We didn't even have to ask!! Now that is great service!! The manager of the store must be on top of his game! From the cleanliness of the restaurant to the quality of the food, this Outback has a good team, and it shows! I will eat here again next time I'm in town! I wish I could give the restaurant more than 5 stars, because today, you deserve it!! read more

Pathetic. Ordered two filets medium rare and one sirloin medium. The sirloin came out okay, but one filet was medium well and the other was well done. 20 minutes later, still no filets. Assistant kitchen manager Seth came out and apologized, but way too late. They boxed our steaks to go and we got back to our hotel, one was medium to medium well while the other was medium rare with so much gristle it reduced the 9 ounces to half that. We got all the excuses: manager out of town, managers on duty both new, and six servers called in tonight...blah, blah, blah. read more

Once again , our experience during lunch today was horrible. No, they were not busy! Server was friendly and apologetic; however, it took 45 minutes AFTER we ordered to get our food. The steak was lukewarm, grilled chicken overcooked and lukewarm, both orders of Mac and cheese were cold. The only thing hot was my baked potato. We spent $75 for 3 people to have lunch and it was an overall painful and unenjoyable experience. We will not be wasting any more money or time at this location.
