I grabbed an early dinner at this Outback and was pleased. Service at the bar was fast and friendly. The free hot bread was delicious as always. I had a filet with fake with my choice of two sides. The steak was cooked perfectly. Veggies were a little mushy, but so it goes. The fries and steak had a great seasoning. It was free dessert day so I got to finish my meal with a sweet treat. If you like beer, don't miss the Outback Blond Ale - a inexpensive and refreshing accompaniment to your steak.

This is a typical Outback in that the food was consistently good and you almost always know what to expect. In this visit to Indy, I met Kellie the bartender that was my reason for a 2nd visit. It's always nice to find an engaging staffer and Kellie did not disappoint. She also directed me to the delicious strawberry salad. And best of all, the steak fillet meal shown cost me $82 CAD in Hamilton just 2 weeks ago. Yes, that's $70 USD for the same meal that cost me $30 in the good 'ol USA. Don't know what outback is pulling on the Canucks, but I won't ever eat at THAT location again. Kellie and her boss were astounded when I showed them a pic of the CAN menu and it's ridiculous pricing.

Celebrating 43rd anniversary but what could be better than outback. Good night I've had better service - very attentive, and personable without hovering. If you come here, ask for Cayla! Started with mushrooms. Boy, is this a large serving. Sorry, no picture just couldn't wait. I thought the wife would help but left on my own. Downsize the blooming chicken to lunch accordingly. If you'd like the onion, you would like the chicken. I added the loaded potato, which was perfection! Wife went with shrimp and fries really enjoyed the sauce. It was served with. She enjoyed the bread while I eat the mushrooms. All in all, a great meal!!!!

Regrettably I had to lower from a 5 star to a 4. They have changed since the last time I was here. They got rid of their 10oz filet, and the quality was not up to par with a good filet. They also apparently stopped seasoning their fries as well, very blah Next time I will have to get seasoning like the prime rib as it had a lot of seasoning and my now 8oz filet needed flavor and less fat. The bloomin onion was still good as well as the bread. Service was slower than normal due to being short staffed.

Outback is my favorite chain steakhouse. Their food is always top notch quality. Tip- ask for honey butter with your bread!! Bloomin Onions are better than any other competitor restaurants, especially with the homemade bloom sauce. They have the best ranch than any other restaurant. Steaks are always cooked perfectly, although I wish they would bring back the option for wood fire any steak! Drinks are always delicious. They have raised the prices quite a bit within the last few years. 6oz sirloins used to be $11 and now they're almost $15. Service is always pretty good, even with them being short staffed! I will admit I was a little frustrated with this particular visit. We received several $10 bonus cards over the holidays for buying gift cards there. The paper says only one per visit per table. We were sitting at the bar, and I asked before we ordered our meals that if my fiance and I got separate checks, we could use two. The bartender said yes. When the checks came, she had to leave and get the manager to take it off. The manager said absolutely not and would not honor our bonus. The bartender was very apologetic, but communication definitely needs to be improved.

Love the food, however, don't plan on anyone answering the phone for your order. They differ in taste. Best Caesar salad anywhere.

I appreciate that we were given to wait staff for our group size which made things move very fast and efficiently. They have some great lunch offerings and deals to get the most out of the menu. I really liked the lunch combo with the shrimp cocktail, their homemade sauce really packs a punch! I laughed though because the bar was playing The Muppet Show on the TV. lol The dinner menu is expensive so I went for brunch. (I believe their brunch is from 10am-2pm on Saturday and Sunday.) I ordered brisket hash (crispy potatoes, cheddar cheese, braised brisket, chimichurri, eggs, toast) and it was outstanding, although expensive at $24. The main floor dining like a lunch vibe, but it turned out to be a cozy choice. For appetizers, we started with the cornbread after our focaccia was unfortunately not the best. Seemed to be over-proofed. The cornbread was absolutely phenomenal and a must-have! A special shoutout to our waitress, Arya, who noticed our disappointment with the focaccia and generously brought us the cornbread on the house. That kind of service is truly memorable! I also had the beets and peaches salad, which was refreshing but a tad overdressed. Still, I couldn't resist finishing the entire dish. For my main course, I ordered the lasagna, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't overloaded with cheese and instead complemented by mushrooms and pesto, and surprisingly light on the stomach. My husband chose the filet and rated it an 8/10, saying he thoroughly enjoyed it. We were so full by the end that we skipped dessert. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. The only downside was the atmosphere; coming from Chicago, we expected a more bustling vibe on a Thursday night. It seems Indianapolis is a bit quieter during the week. Overall, we had a delightful dining experience, and hats off to Arya for her exceptional service!

The seating? Intimate. The lighting? Soft. The whole space feels like a quiet luxury moment tucked right into the city. Now let's talk about what REALLY matters, the food. The shrimp & grits??? Listen... this wasn't just a dish, this was an EXPERIENCE. The grits were creamy, smooth, and perfectly rich, but that sauce layered on top?? Whew. Flavor on flavor on flavor. You've got that deep, savory, slightly smoky profile with juicy shrimp, sausage, and those pickled onions cutting through everything with the perfect tang. Every bite felt intentional. Like somebody knew what they were doing in that kitchen. And can we talk about how beautiful it was plated?? Because yes, I absolutely appreciated the aesthetics before I even picked up my fork. Paired it with a simple coffee moment, sitting by the window, and honestly... it felt like a reset. Not rushed, not loud, just good food, good atmosphere, and a chance to actually enjoy it. If you're looking for a brunch spot that feels a little more elevated, a little more intentional, and delivers on both flavor and experience. This is it. 10/10. I'll absolutely be back!!!
