I can't remember my server name unfortunately, but he was a young male who was very professional, and always made sure I was doing okay at my table. For, my lunch I had bbq wings, Outback Steakhouse delicious cheesy fries, and pink lemonade. My wings I get them not breaded, no sauce on it, and instead tossed in their bbq sauce. Using their delicious ranch for the bbq wings it was very delicious to me that way. I was very full for some hours, and if you're like me that can't do mild, or even hot food especially chicken wings. My wife and I sat at the bar and were immediately greeted. The bar service was fantastic. However, the beer they had on draft was very subpar. I went with a Guinness in a bottle. The TVs were on but they were not loud so you can converse easily. The bar was very clean. The place was packed but the service was almost seamless. Knowing they would be busy, I took advantage of their online wait list system. We told them we'd be there around 6:30, and we were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is my drink. I went with the Root Beer Old Fashioned. It tasted okay, but it was pretty small, not very strong, and cost $9. Maybe I should have known better at a chain restaurant. The rest of the experience was great. We were given complimentary bread and butter, which we didn't need but ate anyway. My fiancée enjoyed her salad, and I was offered steamed broccoli as a substitute, since I'm not a salad eater. The bloomin' onion was excellent, as usual. We ended up taking half of it home. Way too big for two people. The best part of the meal was the steak. I'm always uneasy about meal deals because you don't typically get a good cut of meat, but that wasn't the case here. Surprisingly, an Australian/American restaurant has very tasty chicken tortilla soup! Their side/house salad is also pretty good (not just super basic like some places). My boyfriend and I love this place! We come in here quite frequently so the servers/managers/bartenders recognize us and always make us feel right at home. The best thing about outback is the fact you get the same quality of food at whatever outback you go to. We always sit up at the bar so the service is amazing but we have sat in the main dining area a few times and received exception service there too! As far as appetizers go, the Ahi is amazing and the dips that go along with it are even better, For salads, we love the wedge. In fact, we cannot find a better wedge where ever we go (and we travel A LOT). But it does come with onions so we ask for it without. When it comes down to the main course, we LOVE the Prime Rib. Came in on a Saturday with a group of four and the place was nearly empty. We were seated promptly and our orders were taken. All the food came out in a decent amount of time but one of our party was served a burger with a stale bun so the server brought out a new bun for him to transfer his burger to.. . . ?? No apology and it turned out the second bun was stale too. The server never asked the normal "how is everything?" or checked on us. In fact, she seemed really put off to have to serve us. My food was good - especially the French Onion Soup I got. Yum. However, as someone who worked food service for years, I'm really bothered by poor service. The silverware was dirty, the salads were wilty and brownish, and my wife`s Filet was overcooked and tough. She ordered it Medium, but she got it VERY well done, which ruined the flavor. My ribeye was stringy, and slightly overcooked, but I know the stringiness was just due to the grade of meat restaurants use. We didn`t complain because we were worried about what staff might do to the food if we did. The only good point of the entire evening was our waitress. She was funny and personable, and we enjoyed her very much. She was attentive and took very good care of us other than the quality of the food. Ended up asking for extra tomato juice yo dilute it & even that didn't help much I ordered shrimp & baked potato & received shrimp & French fries ( I ate them rather than send them back) Shrimp came with no shrimp sauce, which was very unusual. Requested ketchup & shrimp sauce & waited for what seemed to be a long time & had just stood up to find someone & she brought it. Server said "freshly made" & it was hotter than the Bloody Mary!!
