Sailor's Platter with Clam Strips substituted for the Shrimp Scampi
Richard Walton C.

I didn't realize Red Lobster had this location which I have been driving by for a very long time. I guess I pay too much attention to the traffic in front of me. The number of customers inside was light. No one was at the greeter station but I was spotted immediately by someone who showed me to a table right away. I knew what I wanted and found it on the menu before the server arrived. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only question was if I could substitute the Shrimp Scampi with Clam Strips on the Sailor's Platter. The platter also came with Popcorn Shrimp and Crispy Flounder. I didn't see the Clam Strips anywhere on the menu and was worried they didn't offer them anymore. My server told me she could get them for me. I told her it was the main reason I came there. I really like them[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also ordered a Side Salad as my side even though it was $1.99 extra. And I ended up only taking a half dozen bites to save room for my platter. It was a big salad and tasted great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The flounder was excellent! It was thin and crispy. I ate both fillets[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I was done there was still shrimp and clams on the plate because they brought out so much of them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't order dessert as I was too full. I didn't use the restroom so I can't speak to its cleanliness. Parking was awesome since nobody was there and I got a spot right by the front door.

I come to this location a couple times a year. Have always had decent service and usually no wait, though I don't think I often eat at peak dinner time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am always a fan of the shrimp linguine alfredo--it's a bit greasy, but comfort food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The coconut shrimp are good, too, and come with a creamy pineapple dipping sauce.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a wide variety of fruity cocktails.

This is based on a delivered order. I just don't think it's a good idea to get crab legs delivered. They never have the same appeal as eating at the restaurant. I ordered the garlic cajun butter crab legs. They had the sauce in a separate container. This is liquid butter so of course it's messy and it's getting thru the packaging. Half the crab was empty. I had many pieces that hardly had any meat in them. It's crab fest so doesnt that mean they are "in season" or whatever lol. I also wish you could sub the potatoes that come with the legs for something diff. I absolutely don't like those potatoes. I prefer a baked potato or even mashed. I don't think I'll be ordering to go crab legs anymore.

We get there on a Friday night at 6pm and there were very few people in the restaurant. We waited a minutes for the server to come over to start with drinks. I can't blame her as she was in the middle of something. We started with the calamari. Well it was definitely frozen and beyond chewy. Then the Cesar salad came out. It was drenched with dressing and too much. Finally I had ordered the live Maine lobster. As I cracked it open a bunch of water came pouring out. It was clearly boiled (meat texture gave that away). There was no flavor to it and the meat was slimy. In total it came to $70. This will be the last time I go to a red lobster. Not worth the money. P.S the server was extremely friendly and was not her fault.

Hush puppies

We over heard the manager bribing people with a free dessert for a good Google review. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Maybe they need to do this to make up for the over priced food?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food is way over priced for the amount you get.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Look at these hush puppies. The store looked very clean though

Food was okay but somewhat salty. The service was delayed but they are often extremely busy with limited staff. The dining area is a calming, with nice spacious booths.

7oz peppercorn-seasoned sirloin, a wild-caught lobster tail, loaded baked potato, and french fries and ketchup.

What can I say? Good quality for the price. I know, Steak and Lobster tail may not look the best to some with a loaded baked potato and fries on the same plate. However, those are the only sides I cared for at the time. My spouse and I went to RL for the Wednesday Special of Steak and Lobster. It's a wild caught lobster tail and a 7oz peppercorn-seasoned sirloin with 2 sides for $20.99. Our server was knowledgeable and she even recommended a "Lobster Punch" drink they stopped advertising the night before. If you're looking for somewhere easy to get seafood and not pay too much this is the place for you.

There were about 2/3 tables full, which is good for a Sunday. Our server Jason was friendly and good about keeping track of all our requests. They have mocktails! I got the Blushing Sangria. It was delicious and nicely fruity and not too sweet. I've never drank before, but my boyfriend said it tasted like the original kind. They have a pretty extensive beer list here, and many of them are local choices. For appetizer, we got the couscous Mac and cheese balls. These are pretty close in nature to arancini, but with more cheese. My main course was their weekend dinner special, with prime rib accompanied by white cheddar mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. The prime rib was absolutely amazing, nice and tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were also great and are a very smooth consistency. For dessert, of course we had to get a pizookie! The triple chocolate delivers on its name. Served hot, it is well worth the wait after two courses of deliciousness. They have TVs around the bar area that have sports on. At the time, basketball and nascar had the most coverage. I wish they had the closed captioning on, since that makes it easier to tell what goes on if you're not right at the bar. The bathroom is kept clean there. My boyfriend and I are sure to come back on the weekday special going on, with select entrees and pizookies for $13 - what a deal! Hopefully this is sooner rather than later!

It's familiar, family friendly and the broccoli cheddar casserole is like comfort food to me. The last time I was there I had an upset stomach after lunch but you never know for sure what the cause is unless you haven't eaten at all before hand. So we decided to give them another chance. Those honey butter croissants are quite enticing after all. Unfortunately, the Bourbon Glazed Salmon I usually order was undercooked and I couldn't eat it. I hate wasting food but I had to send it back. The service seems to get worse each time I've been there over the years. Not sure what is going on with the management but it seems to be lacking the leadership and skills required to run a successful restaurant. It makes me sad that I can't go back there anymore. I just won't risk getting sick and need more consistent service.

This time with my husband and told him it was pretty good. We were seated very quick, it was around 11 am and it's a Thursday. The server took our order but forgot to bring my water. I got the "Mad Platter" which comes with three eggs, three meats, fried potato's (or grits), toast, and a pancake or French toast. I asked for well done eggs, which means the top part is cooked, which I explained to the server. When I got my eggs back they were completely runny. I just ate them as was because I don't mind runny eggs, I just wasn't particularly in the mood for them. It came with a ton of sausage. The toast came out cold but everything else was okay. I asked again for my water. She didn't bring it out when she came to give us something but got it afterwards. We were a party of 5 so we had some dishes and cups piling up. The server NEVER picked up anything from the table. Leaving it cluttered. Then, before asking if we were done or if we had anything we needed she brought us the check. And then just told us we didn't have to rush. You should always make sure your patrons are done before giving them the check, it's just common courtesy. She never returned to our table. My husband complained the syrup was runny. And the biscuits and the gravy was dry. Overall mid food, not sure if they got a new cook but it wasn't anything to write home about. The service was blah and definitely needs improvement. The first server I had when I first visited was really nice and attentive. I would say it's a place to visit at least once but we will not be returning. I hope you have a better experience!
