Backyard BBQ Combo - Sirloin* & Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie.
    Brizi D.

Decided to take my family out for a good evening, host was very nice very polite and friendly. After seating us the server walks over introduced himself and asked if we wanted drinks. (We had just sat down not 30secs ago) so we needed more time when he came back one drink that was on menu we asked him about he had no knowledge of it!! After ordering drinks we wanted to look over the menu a bit as they had new items. Server seem to be in a rush as he asked us about 4 times in 5 mins if we was ready to order. Family feeling a bit of pressure they order appetizers on the mobile device at the table. Finally we decided on food and ordered NEW steak & shrimp comes with two sides. When the food got to the table it was mixed up somehow on different plates! So we had to wait for the new sides to come out again Food was hot well seasoned. Mash potatoes was dry and lack any butter salt or pepper. One steak was asked to be cooked well done but both come medium. The loaded potato was solid and flavorful Even during us eating the server was asking do we need boxes to go!! Not sure what his rush was but we were still eating and enjoying so we said no multiple times..Overall not to bad but not the best evening either this location is hit or miss for me not sure if I'll return.

I ordered from Outback Steakhouse in Laurel, MD and unfortunately, it really missed the mark. The Blooming Burger was the most disappointing--it was supposed to be medium well but came out undercooked and completely red inside. The salad was soggy, and the coconut shrimp was chewy, which made it hard to enjoy. The only thing that stood out in a good way was the sweet potato. I will say, the staff member who brought the order out to my car was very kind and compassionate, which I appreciated. That made me hopeful the experience would be great, but sadly, the food did not match the service. I've never been this disappointed with Outback before.

I ordered a Ribeye steak (bone in), and a loaded baked potato and a wedge salad. My server, Cecelia, told me the wedge salad was one of the 2 sides I could order with my Ribeye. I looked at the Ziosk thingiee that shows a table the order total. I was surprised that the Pay Now button showed 2 charges of $2.99 for the wedge salad, and an additional $2.99 for playing a game on the Ziosk, which I didn't play. I complained and the server removed the game fee and one of the wedge salad fees. I complained again that the wedge salad, according to the server was 1 of the 2 sides that came with the Ribeye. She took the extra charge off, as she admitted she didn't tell me there was an uncharge for the wedge salad. I ate my meal( the potato was way over-salted) and the steak was OK. I tipped 20% The manager, Fabian, who stood next to my table over and over again, never was curious about my experience, even though my server talked to him about discounting the additional fee for the wedge salad.

I had the best experience today. The service was wonderful. Server was awesome, food was hot and fresh. I stopped in for lunch with my son. I had a huge blooming onion as well as wings. Then ordered a blooming chicken sandwich with fries to go. I really enjoyed my lunch and the place was quiet. I plan on returning sooner than later.

Date of service: Jan 11, 2025 Ambiance: soft lighting. Always have enjoyed the ambiance in Outback. Food: It was delicious!! This was my first time ordering the salmon served this way and it was pretty good. Never thought this style sauce on salmon would be tasty. The shrimp are baby shrimp so don't expect medium size or small. It was more like the salad shrimp size. The wings were so good and my wedge salad was so crisp and crunchy. It's large enough for two ppl to share. There's a balsamic drizzle that compliments the blue cheese dressing, that's out of this world. Bonus: they have $7 everyday all day drinks now. It's about 6 maybe 7 or 8 to choose from. Smart move outback

I came here after work one day and I was not disappointed. I sat at the bar and my waiter was very attentive. I ordered the Sydney 'shrooms for my appetizer and they were perfectly seasoned. For my entree, I got the ribeye, medium, with loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus. My steak was cooked to perfection. My only gripe would be the asparagus for some reason or another they were mushy and I was not a fan. The mashed potatoes were good. My drink was good with a nice amount of alcohol in it. The manager was nice he came up to me to make sure I was satisfied with the food and services and gave me a $10 gift card for my next meal. I would most definitely come back to this Outback location.

Back again and somehow I forgot about my previous experience because 15 min at the table and I'm just getting a water! I already know how this is about to go but I'm here so i'lol stick it out. There aren't that many people here and I can see my waiter waiting around and visiting his other tables. One person [not the waiter] came with the water with ice which I asked not to be included. She took it back only to send someone else with the water no ice. A few moments later out comes my actual water after I had to ask who is waiting my table. 9/10 this will be my last visit. I had a question about my order but it took so long I'm just hoping for the best at this point.

I was so excited to get the boomerang flight and it was syrupy sweet. My wings came with all thumbs I sent that back I like my flats at least give me half and half ..... our waitress was amazing .... Very busy shopping center on a Sunday .

I was iffy coming here as my experience by the PG mall location was ok. I loved it here. RJ welcomed us and made sure he got all our drink and food orders. Missing one star since the drinks didn't have the garnish as shown in the pictures and the person running food and drinks kept taking our stuff to other tables or bringing us someone else's order. All the food I got was delicious. I'm very satisfied with having come here. Thanks for making a better experience! We'll definitely come back!

This was not a great dining experience. The environment was fine and our waiter was kind, but he got our order wrong multiple times. Sometimes it was just ice when I asked for a drink without, sometimes it was entirely the wrong side dish. None of our steaks were cooked properly. We all ordered medium rare, and the steaks were incredibly raw. The Piña Koala drink was cute but not a good cocktail. Also, my friend told me thar 2/3 of the toilets in the women's restroom were broken. Any of these things on their own would be like a 4-star review, but all of them together mean we probably won't be coming back.

Shoutout to our local community heroes! Mikalah and crew are attentive, professional, and personable. The food and drinks came out so quickly and our table was cleared from any finished items right away. The food was very delicious! I wanted a quality steak and ordered the bone-in ribeye which was tender enough to only be lightly chewed! The presentation was so perfect along side fully loaded potato with a salted jacket baked like a giant fluffy potato skin! We ate our potato from the outside to the inside! Yumm! The Caesar salad was fresh and crispy with creamy dressing. Hubby had the decadent prime rib and loaded potato. Cheat day lines up nicely with date night! We had the salted caramel cookie and the carrot cake to send us over the edge into a food coma! We still have to sit through a movie... I am 51 now and I could settle for cuddling on the couch.... But we already got the tickets! Lol !

I tried to order ahead on the app, but for the life of me, I couldn't find the side salad. I don't know if it was the app or my eyes, but I ended up having to double-park and literally run inside to place the order. The line of people waiting to get seated was ridiculous, it was completely packed. The hostess told me it would be about 25 minutes. Knowing how busy it was, I came back in 30, and it took another 10 minutes to be ready. Honestly, with that crowd, it was completely fine and understandable. We got it home and everything was good. It's consistent, nothing to necessarily write home about, but exactly what we wanted. The wings are definitely better fresh in the restaurant; the plastic to-go containers make them lose that crispy hit, but popping them in for a couple of minutes at home brings the texture right back. You do get maybe two fewer wingettes here than their competitor chain, and I might slightly prefer the competitor's base wing flavor, but LongHorn has this buffalo sauce that hits. I was able to pour it all over my wings and still had some for dipping, which was a huge plus. The side salad was decent, and I absolutely love their white balsamic vinaigrette and the honey mustard, I just bounce between the two depending on my mood. Overall, a quality, consistent experience. I can't complain and would definitely order this again!

Today, I gave them another shot because Uber Eats was offering a buy one, get one free deal on the jerk chicken meal. I chose rice & peas with plantain for my sides. The chicken was cooked on the grill--which I love--because it really brings out the flavor in jerk chicken. I also requested my jerk sauce on the side since I prefer a dry rub style over a saucy one. The only drawback was the small bone pieces in the chicken and rice. That's something to be cautious about, especially if a child is eating the meal. The plantains were also inconsistent--some pieces were hard, while others were mushy. On the bright side, the coco bread was perfect and the Jamaican rum cake was phenomenal. Whoever baked that cake clearly took their time soaking it in rum. It reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the rum cake again.

So I prefer a beef burger cooked medium with blue cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onions. When I burger got tot the table it was dry as a board. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! Will I come back...maybe only because I would like to try some Jamaican food they offer. But for brunch...it's a no for me!

When I finally stopped by, I actually enjoyed myself. I liked the atmosphere, the energy, and the overall vibe. I even thought it was somewhere I would return to regularly, especially after learning that it was a black-owned business. As someone who intentionally supports black-owned businesses whenever possible, I was excited to have discovered a new place to support. Unfortunately, that changed at the end of the night. As closing time approached, I was standing with a glass of wine in my hand when, to my surprise, a member of the security staff (tall African American man with locs) randomly walked up to me and took the drink directly out of my hand. There was no "Excuse me." No "Ma'am, we're closing, I'll give you a few seconds to finish your drink, then you have to leave." No polite request to finish my drink and make my way out. Nothing! I completely understand that businesses have closing times. That is not my issue. My issue is the complete lack of respect and professionalism in the way the situation was handled. There was absolutely no reason for anyone to remove a drink from my hand without first speaking to me. A simple conversation would have accomplished the exact same result. Instead, the interaction felt rude, unnecessary, disrespectful, and honestly insulting. What bothered me most was how easily the situation could have been handled differently. A customer who is calmly standing with a drink in her hand should not be treated as though she is incapable of understanding a simple request. Respectful communication costs nothing! As someone who makes a conscious effort to support black-owned businesses, this experience was especially disappointing. I walked into The Hideout wanting to support the establishment and left feeling more disrespected than I have ever felt at any business I have patronized. After sharing my experience with a few individuals, I was surprised to learn that more than one person reported having negative interactions with the same security guard. I can only speak to my own experience, but hearing similar stories from others makes me wonder whether this behavior is an ongoing issue rather than an isolated incident. It is unfortunate that the actions of one employee completely changed my perception of what otherwise appeared to be a great establishment. One employee's behavior was enough to ensure that I will not return. I do not spend my money where I am treated with disrespect, spoken down to, or handled as though I am a child! I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because no customer should be treated this way. Respect is the bare minimum when interacting with paying customers, and this entire situation could have been avoided with a simple, polite request. Please train your staff to do better!

There was live jazz playing. I sat at the bar - shout out to Nnamdi who was the bartender and my waiter. Food wise: brunch only offers the $55 unlimited food option for two hours. I was completely fine with this as I was able to taste multiple dishes. I had the fried deviled eggs, Rockefeller oysters, bang bang shrimp, deep fried snow crab legs, pork chop and grits, wings in hot honey lemon pepper (their signature sauce) and the white chocolate bread pudding I enjoyed everything except the deep fried crab legs. The cluster was hallow. I had more fried batter than crab meat. Deviled eggs were my favorite of all the things I tried. And the bread pudding was sinfully delicious . I wasn't able to finish my last two items ordered but luckily I was able to fit it in the to-go box. Most places that serve unlimited food don't allow to-go boxes so I was happy to not have my leftovers go to waste. I opted for the bottomless cocktails as well. It looked unappetizing when I got home and opened it, and the crab topping that I paid an extra $3 for gave off a very strong smell (reminiscent of the kitchen of a seafood restaurent) and also appeared wet. I'd guess they took crab straight from a can, put it on top of the eggs, and covered it with old bay seasoning. Very disappointing. Sadly these were not the only issues, as the collard greens themselves were bland and a little tough. There was also a wooden stick in my greens?? Not sure why. Although the catfish was fried well, that's the only satisfactory thing about this experience, and everything else ruined it.

Delightful lunch with a new friend on a chilly, blustery Thursday (5/21/26). It's a wide-open, airy…read moreplace - which as I think about it, probably ensures no lingering fishy odor even on hot days ;) We were seated immediately, given a choice of open tables - there were quite a few at just after noon. Menus and drink orders were brought promptly. I chose the fish tacos, and our server - Casey - asked if I wanted the fish pan seared or blackened. We had a discussion over how many chips and salsa were served with it, because my friend wanted some with his veggie burger. We learned that the amount with an entrée is just right - about two handfuls - so we each had some, with my friend's being a substitution for fries. I almost can't find the words to describe those tacos! The fish was moist, perfectly seasoned and generously heaped in each taco. Often, tacos lean heavily on the veg elements but these had just the right amount of slaw. The flavor of the fish was so delicate and savory. Honestly, one taco was all I could manage. Although they were street taco sized, it was so filling. I only ate a handful of chips; they were good but nothing special, as was the tiny cup of salsa. My friend said his veggie burger was excellent, and he enjoyed the bit of chips and salsa as well. He just had water, while I tried a Corona NA. The bill was around $56, which is very reasonable. There's plenty of free parking in the shopping center. Great service, good prices, excellent food - I'll go back!

I am very neutral on Hudson coastal. I don't love it as a favorite, but definitely don't hate it…read moreeither. The ambiance is really nice. It is exactly as the name states, coastal. Lots of windows and light and bright. At the least it is an awesome place for a happy hour with some good deals that are well advertised. The food to me is just ok. It's often a red flag to me when the bread basket is your favorite thing about the restaurant and this is that. The muffins they give out to every table are diabolical. I could swim in those things. When it comes to what I ordered, the cucumber cups were ok, and the fish I got was well cooked and what I ordered, but there was nothing fun about it. Long story short, I don't jump to go back, but if someone suggests it, I'm not upset. I'll just make sure to order something different and take the whole muffin basket for myself.
