Guilty pleasure no more! Why guilty? Chain restaurant that everyone disses. Why no more? The food quality and value has continued to go down. The service is still great, and the restaurant was clean, hence 3 stars. Last trip was on a snowy day and I wanted a good chook sandy. Went to Outback hoping they would come through, but it was tiny, bready, and while well seasoned, just less chicken. It was as thick as a dime, and probably a quarter of a breast overall. Had a "loaded" baked potato on the side, and while a tasty potato, and cooked well, it had very little of the loaded part. For that, and a 3.99 iced tea, I was in for over $20 before tip. Literally a Wendy's chicken sandwich has more protein than what I received. Still tasty, but no value with what you get. Value comes in a variety of forms, whether it be taste, price, or quantity, and... Outback was a 3 on taste, due to the 2 on the lack quantity (lack of breast girth) and potato toppings, and thus a 2 on the price, considering the value matrices of taste/quantity/price. It's been a month since the last review :) today there was indeed someone to deliver the curbside meals. We didn't know so we went to the door but then were assured it'd be brought out. However, instead of following a process of looking at vehicle make/model/color/spot number we watched her hand our food into another vehicle (DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF US) who then dug through the bag of our food, called the worker back to say it wasn't there's then she skipped to our vehicle to hand it to us... this is getting ridiculously out of hand. I ordered the blue cheese pecan chopped side salad with blue cheese vinaigrette, 6 grilled shrimp on the barbie with fresh steamed mixed veggies, and over-the-top brussels sprouts, and a kids fruit. The shrimp and mixed veggies were good. The brussels sprouts were delicious. I know it was a kids fruit, but the amount left a little more to be desired. The salad wasn't the freshest I've had from here before; there was a little brown with the lettuce. This location is a go-to when I need a quick meal. This was one of the worst experiences I have had in a while. My wife and I went here for lunch. After seated we ordered a Dr. Pepper and a sweet tea. We also ordered the Aussie Cheese Fries. Drinks came and the complimentary bread showed up. Drinks were good. The bread was old and not even warm. Terrible. At that point we ordered our food. She got the sirloin and Alice springs chicken with sweet potato and a Caesar salad. I got a sirloin with fries and Caesar salad. Then the cheese fries showed up. This was really the only good thing about the meal. But the ranch was not the same. It used to have a kick to it but this did not. Not a big deal but still a thing. While eating that we also had our salad. Terrible salad. No croutons and incredibly bland. Almost no dressing. The food showed up and when it did it was a shock. My wife's meal was over $25 and as you can see in the picture, it was not worth the money. The nice picture is what the menus shows. Nothing like what we got. The chicken was reheated in the microwave. Very dry and not fresh. The steak had fat all over it and not cooked right. Terrible. On top of all that the table we sat at was not sturdy and the chairs were not comfortable. We asked for a manager and when they came out and asked what the issue was, she seemed very annoyed that we asked for her. She then began to make it out as if it was our fault that we didn't ask for things to be fixed. At the end of it she took my wife's meal off but this was an experience that didn't need to happen. Should have ordered the prime rib classic - the seasoning is just too salty/spicy for me. Sadly they were both overcooked. Willing to try it plain next time and will go for rare vs medium rare, but I don't recommend the Outback seasoning on shrimp or prime rib. My plate she handed me looked like it may not have been clean. I didn't bother using it. The blooming onion was super salty and greasy. The steak salad was abysmal with only 4 strips of tasteless meat and wilted lettuce. It's highly overpriced, poor quality, and disappointing. The cleanliness of the place is highly questionable, too. I had been craving a nice steak dinner for a while and decided to come to Outback to finally get my craving. I came with my husband and son. We arrived around 2 pm and it was not busy at all. We immediately sat in a booth and were able to get a few minutes to look at the menu before our waitor came to get our drink order. Steak with grilled shrimp, broccoli, and loaded mashed potatoes. My order was delicious. The steak definitely met my expectations, such as the baked potato and broccoli. Definitely what I was craving. My husband steak was on the colder side. He stated it felt like if it had been waiting in the window for a while. He ended up getting mashed potatoes instead of the baked potato, but he didn't care and accepted the mashed, but they were cold to the touch. My son ordered the outback burger, which he stated had a "sour taste" to it, and the bread was super hard, especially the bottom bun. Now my son will eat and usually never complains about any food so when he does, I know there is something wrong with the food. When we told our waitor about these issues, he did apologize and took off my son's meal for us and definitely took care of us. After a few more visits and online orders I can say this location definitely delivers. My most recent order included Filet and Lobster and Filet and Shrimp dinners, with baked potatoes and side salads. I'm always nervous to order steak for pickup or delivery, specifically due to carryover cooking. With that said, Outback has it down. We ordered our steaks "medium" and they arrived just right. All orders come with a loaf of bread which is stellar! It is always so fresh and I recommend asking for an extra loaf! The salad is simple, but fresh, and their Honey Mustard dressing adds just the right ting. Overall, I have been to other Outback locations and can say they don't deliver like this location. I was immediately greeted by the sweet manager, Kayla, who offered me a drink while I waited for my order! The bar area was very clean & I was able to find a spot easily to wait.
