We got to the restaurant on a Friday evening and it wasn't too busy. The hosts sat us almost immediately. It was great after a long day. The best thing about the experience was the fantastic server, Justin W. . He was so attentive and patient. He brought out the food while it was hit and fresh and always asked if we needed anything. It was supposed to be medium rare and was Medium...grilled on one side and pan on the other. Only ate half of it picking and choosing pieces! I placed a to go order on October 5 after 8 PM. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a team member who told me "your order will not be made today, we will cancel the order and refund you your money. The kitchen is too busy to make your order. " I was puzzled by the lack of customer service right away. I asked the team member, who was probably just relaying a message and none of this is her fault. How I know that I would get a refund. She said her managers would refund it. I even called later that evening, because the story is just so bizarre that I felt like whenever I were to ask for the refund later on they would have no idea as to what I was talking about. Well, here we are 13 days later and no refund. I had to waste valuable time out of my day to visit the restaurant and receive a refund. No apology, no nothing. Take that for the level of customer service expected at this establishment, nonexistent. In short, I was told I would get a refund after they refused to make my food from a to go order because they were too busy. Only to find out that was a LIE. So of course I had to see what all the hype was about. Boomaritas. I got 4 small glasses thinking what is this? A tasting? One sip... I said ok! Sip two...wow! Three...I knew I was in trouble. They were amazing! Mango, blackberry, watermelon and their house margarita. I'm not a fan of salt on the rim for the house margarita but it was still good. They were all good!! Went in to place my order, I ordered the bone in rib eye steak med rare, baked potato with sour cream, butter & chives with asparagus to go. Not only did did I waited for over 45mins. Which wasn't bad when I got home my steak was burnt to a crisp on one side, it was cooked well done. Was not red at all. My baked potato was undercooked. I tried calling the restaurant to complain to the manager the manager never came to the phone. When I tried calling back again someone would answer then a minute later they hung up the phone. By this time I was frustrated and just threw it in the trash. I've been ordering from this restaurant for years. And this is how they treated me. I ordered two entrees and a Coconut Shrimp Platter. One entree was correct. The second entree was missing the sauce that it is supposed to come with as well as the extra sauce I requested in the comments. With enough food to feed 6-8 people I was only given one piece of bread. When I asked for extra I was given one more piece of bread with no butter. The mac'n'cheese that was a $2 upgrade as a side with one of the meals had absolutely no flavor of cheese. It tasted of butter and black pepper but there was no cheese flavor whatsoever. Finally the 32 Coconut Shrimp Platter contained only 24 shrimp and only one small container of marmalade sauce the same size you get with the appetizer and no lemons. I asked for extra sauce at the pick up and was given another small container less than half full. I don't normally leave reviews but this is getting to be the norm at this Outbackand I find it very disappointing. I always check the botton requesting utensils and as always none were in the bag. Everytime I order from this Outback there are so many mistakes in my order that I have to call back about. Beyond that, the past year, the quality of the food itself has dropped quite a bit. This was the worse experience ever, we have reservations for a party of 30 at 3pm, we were seated at 3:30p and that's okay but they had one server for the entire party and the young lady also had tables to service behind us and she tried her best, we received our drinks and two hours later she came back to take our dinner and appetizer orders , my table received a overcooked blooming onions which was ridiculous but the icing on the cake people came in much later than we did and they were served and received their food and drinks before any body in the party. No manager came over to explain what was the issue or to apologize, the majority of the party did not eat and cancelled their orders. And some waited to receive their orders about 7p to takeout. Okay so whenever I have eaten there, the service is fine, the food is fine however I felt that someone in management needed to know that there to go is lacking seriously. I understand that may not be the main concern of a restaurant but if you're going to offer something, I would make sure it's up to par. I have tried to pick up three different dash orders from this location and each time something is majorly wrong whether the order is missing or it hasn't started. We met my son and a friend of his for dinner here on a Tuesday night. There was a minimal wait and we got seated in about 10 min or so. We ordered a blommin onion for an appetizer. We ordered steaks, a salmon dish and a chicken dish. all of those were quite good. The meals also came out quickly. Based on our experience, I would normally give 4 stars to this location.
